1 Introduction

Sandberg PowerBank (referred to as “the
battery”) is a portable battery which is charged
via a USB port and can then transfer the power
to a mobile phone or other mobile device. With
a fully charged PowerBank in your bags, you
can ensure that you will always be able to charge
your devices anywhere anytime – without having
to depend on a power socket. Look forward to
a future without dead batteries!

2 Charging

2.1 Charging the battery

1. Connect the enclosed USB cable between the
micro USB port on the battery (use the
enclosed Micro USB adapter) and a USB port
in a computer, or potentially a USB to AC
adapter, such as Sandberg item no. 440-21.
If you are charging via an AC adapter (1000
mA), the charge speed is doubled compared
to using a computer’s USB port.

2. The battery LEDs switch on and you can then
start charging. The charging status can be
read in the LEDs as follows:

When batteries are fully charged, all four LEDs
will light constantly.

NB: If the battery is switched off, you can read
the charging status in the LEDs by pressing the
button directly above the LEDs.

2.2 Charge device from the battery

You can use the same USB cable you use for
charging the battery to charge your device.

1. Connect the wide connector on the USB cable
to the battery’s USB output.

2. Connect the correct adapter to the Mini USB
connector on the USB cable.
You can use the original USB charging cable
that was supplied with your phone instead of
the enclosed cable and adapter.

3. Connect the device which is to be charged.

4. The battery will now charge your device and
you must therefore leave it to do its job. You
can read the battery status in the LEDs shown
in the overview in section 2.1.

NB: PowerBank 8000 has two USB ports and can
therefore charge two devices simultaneously. In
this case the battery will be discharged faster.
