Beforeusingtheappliance
•Packingmaterialscanbedangeroustochildren;keepallpackingmaterial(plasticbags, polystyrene,etc.)welloutofthereachofchildren.
•Theapplianceisdesignedforhomeuseonly.
•Makesurethatwaterandelectricalconnectionsaremadebyqualifiedtechnicians,observingthe manufacturer’sinstructions(see“InstallingtheWashingMachine”)andlocalsafetyregulations.
•Allpackagingandshippingboltsmustberemovedbeforetheapplianceisused.Seriousdamage mayoccuriftheyarenotremoved.See“Removingtheshippingbolts”.
•Beforewashingclothesforthefirsttime,youmustrunacompletecyclewithoutclothes. See“Washingforthefirsttime”.

•Alwaysunplugtheapplianceandturno thewaterafteruse.
•Beforeyouopenthedooroftheappliance,checkthatthewaterhasdrained.Donotopenthedoor ifyoucanstillseewater.
•Petsandsmallchildrenmayclimbintotheappliance.Checktheappliancebeforeeachuse.
•Theglassdoorbecomesveryhotduringthewashingcycle.Keepchildrenawayfromtheappliance whileitisinuse.
•Donotattempttorepairtheapplianceyourself.Repairsmadebyinexperiencedorunqualified personsmaycauseinjuryand/ormakemoreseriousrepairstotheappliancenecessary.

Selectingalocation
Beforeyouinstallthewashingmachine,selectalocationwiththefollowingcharacteristics:
•Ahard,levelsurface(ifthesurfaceisuneven,see“Adjustingthelevelingfeet,”below)
•Awayfromdirectsunlight.
•Adequateventilation
•Roomtemperaturethatwillnotfallbelow0˚C
•Awayfromsourcesofheatsuchascoalorgas
Makesurethatthewashingmachinedoesnotstandonitspowercord.
Ventilationopeningsmustnotbeobstructedbycarpetingwhenthewashingmachineisinstalledona carpetedfloor.
Adjustingthelevelingfeet
Ifthefloorisuneven,adjustthefeet(donotinsertpieces ofwoodoranyotherobjectsunderthefeet):
1. Loosenthelegboltbyturningitwithyourhanduntil
itisatthedesiredheight. 2. Tightenthelockingnutbyturningitwiththe
suppliedwrench.
Ifthewasherisplacedonanunevenorweaksurface,noise orvibrationoccurs. (Onlyldegreeangleisallowed.)

Removingtheshippingbolts
Beforeusingthewashingmachine,youmustremovethe fiveshippingboltsfromthebackoftheunit.Toremove thebolts:
1. Loosenallboltswiththesuppliedwrenchbefore removingthem.
2. Takeeachboltheadandpullitthroughthewidepart ofthehole.
Repeatforeachbolt.
3.Filltheholeswiththesuppliedplasticcovers.
4.Keeptheshippingboltsforfutureuse.

InstallingtheWashingMachine
Connectingthewatersupplyhose
Thewatersupplyhosemustbeconnectedtothewashingmachineatoneendandtothewaterfaucet attheother.Donotstretchthewatersupplyhose.Ifthehoseistooshortreplacethehosewithalonger, highpressurehose.
Toconnectthewatersupplyhose:
1.TaketheL-shapedarmfittingforthecoldwatersupplyhoseandconnecttothecoldwatersupply intakeonthebackofthemachine.Tightenbyhand.
2.Connecttheotherendofthecoldwatersupplyhosetoyoursink’scoldwaterfaucetandtighten itbyhand.Ifnecessary,youcanrepositionthewatersupplyhoseatthewashingmachineendby looseningthefitting,rotatingthehose,andretighteningthefitting.

Hotwater supplyvalue
Option:
1.TaketheredL-shapedarmfittingforthehotwatersupplyhoseandconnecttotheredhotwater supplyintakeonthebackofthemachine.Tightenbyhand.
2.Connecttheotherendofthehotwatersupplyhosetoyoursink’shotwaterfaucetandtightenit byhand.
3.UseaY-pieceifyouonlywanttousecoldwater.
