How to know your Normal Body Temperature
T h e be st wa y t o f in d o ut y o u r n or ma l b o dy temperature is to measure yourself when you are fe eli ng we ll. R eco rd y our r ead ing s twi ce a d ay (ea rly mornin g a nd late after noon). The average o f t h e t w o r e ad i n g s i s y ou r n o r m a l bo dy temperature. Any deviation from this may indicate an i l l n e s s and y o u s h o u ld c o n s u l t a me d i c a l professional.
HIGH TEMPERATURE ALARM
Th i s the r mom e ter h a s a bui l t-i n a lar m t o wa r n user of higher than normal temperature. If reading exceeds 99.5°F (37.5°C) eight sets of three quick beeps will sound.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS & USING DISPOSABLE PROBE COVERS

An intact unit can be s u b m er s ed i n 5 0% w at e r a n d 5 0% a lc o ho l ; ho wev er d o no t so ak f or an ext end ed p eriod o f time. Be sure to dry thermometer thoroughly using soft cloth.
To make temperature taking more hygienic and to h el p p r e v e n t c r o s s - c o n t a m in a t i o n i t i s recommended to use Samsung Disposable Probe Covers (model # TSP-001) each time temperature is taken.
BATTERY
When the "188.8" symbol is continuously flashing, the battery needs to be replaced with an SG3 silver oxide type.
To replace battery,
1.Slide battery cap away from unit.
2. R emo v e the b a tte r y usi n g a sma l l Phi l lip s ­hea d or jew el er's screwdr iver and insert new battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
3. Carefully slide battery cap back into its place, making sure the c ap is securely fit to pr ot ec t battery from moisture.
Caution: Please properly dispose of the old battery away from small children and heat.
