Maintain adeguate spacing auound refrigerator

- Leave a space of 50mm between refrigerator back and wall be­ hind. If your refrigerator is going into a recessed area in the wall,
allow at least 500-550mm or more clearance above the refrigerator.

This refrigerator is designed for free standing only.

- This refrigerator should not be recessed nor built in.

Avoid direct sunlight or heat

- As plastic and electrical components are affected by direct heat,
never place the unit near cookers, radiators or in places exposed
to direct sunlight.

- Normal room temperature is recommended.

Never install the unit near water.

- Avoid locations which may be affected by draughts or dampness
as this will impair the efficiency of the insulation.

Install on a stable, level surface.

- Make sure it is placed on a flat, level surface, otherwise the
appliance is liable to make a noise.

For personal safety, this appliance must be properly grounded.

- This refrigerator should not be grounded with telephone line,gas
pipe,etc.

Laissez un espace de 50mm entre le dos du refrigerateur et le mur.
Si le refrigerateur est range dans un espace en retrait, veuillez laisser
un espace d'aumoins 500-550mm ou plus sur le refrigerateur.

Ce refrigerateur est un modele amovible.

II ne devra pas etre encastre dans un espace

N' installez pas ce refrigerateur devant les rayons directs du
soleil ou presd une source de chaleur.

Etant donne que les composants en plastique et electriques sont
affectes par la chaleur, n' installez pas le refrigerateur a proximite d
une cuisiniere, d' un appareil de chauffage ou dans des endroits
exposes aux rayons directs du soleil.

Une temperature de la piece normale est recommandee.

N' installez jamais le refrigerateur pres de I' eau.
Evitez des endroits predisposes a des courants d' air ou a I humidite
qui peuvent affecter I' efficacite de I' isolation.

Installez le refrigerateur sur un plancher plat

Installez le refrigerateur sur un plancher plat sinon le refrigerateur
risque de faire du bruit.

Pour votre propre securite, cet appareil doit etre mise a la
terre de facon correcte.

Le refrigerateur doit etre mis a la terre separement des lignes
telephoniques, la tuyauterie de gaz etc.

Do not use the appliance if it is not ooperating correctly or has been
damaged. Disconnect it from the main supply and call your local ser

-vice center.

Be careful not to splash water on the back of the refrigerator.
The insulation of the electric parts will be damaged by the water.

Avoid leaving the door open any longer than necessary as this will
impair the efficiency of the refrigerator.

Do not use flammable sprays such as lacquer and paint near the re­frigerator, because there is a danger of ignition.

Do not put volatile chemicals such as ether and benzene in the refrig­erator, because there is a danger of exploding.

Don't allow children to hang on the door.
Children should not be left alone or unattended in an area where
the appliance is in use. They may be hurt and could damage the
refrigerator.

If the power cord is damaged, avoid a hazard by replacing it through
the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person.
Don't use the appliance outdoors .
Use of extension corde is not recommended.

Risk of child entrapment.Before you throw away your old refrigerator
or freezer.
take off the doors.Leave the shelves in place so that children may
not easily climb inside.

N'utilisez pas le refrigerateur s' il ne fonctionne pas de maniere co
recte ou s' il ete endommage. Debranchez - le de la prise murate
et appelez un centre de service local.

N'aspergez pas d' eau sur le dos du refrigerateur. L' isolation des
pieces electriques peut devenir endommagee par I' eau.

Afin de reduire la consommation d' energie, evitez de laisser la porte
ouverte paendant des longues periodes de temps

N'utilisez pas de vaporisateurs inflammables tles que la laque ou la
peinture pres du refrigerateur, car les vapeurs risquent de provoquer
un incendie.

N' entreposez pas de produits chimiques volatils tels que I' ether ou
le benzene dans le refrigerateur, car ces produits risquent de provo­quer une explosion.

Ne permettez pas aux enfants de se pendre a la porte.
II ne faut pas laisser les enfants seuls dans un endroit ou il y a un ap­pareil sous tension. IIs risquent de se faire mal ou meme d' endom­mager I' appareil.

Si le cordon d' alimentaiton est endommage remaplacez-le afin d'
eviter une situation dangereuse. Consultez le fabricant, un centre de
service ou une personne qualifiee.

N' utilisez pas I'appareil dehors et ne faites pas tomber de la pluie
sur I' appareil.

Utilisation d'une ligne de rallonge n'est pas recommandee.

EN:

1. Place all shelves, and bins in their proper positions which have
been removed for transportation.

2. Clean refrigerator and parts to remove dust indurred in shipping
and packing.

3. Set cold control knob at "Max" position and let refrigerator oper­ ate for one hour. Freezer compartment should get slightly chilled
and motor should run smoothly with no noise but soft hum.

4. Store food after the temperature in the refrigerator gets suffi­ iently low. It takes a few hours after starting the refrigerator to
reach the proper temperature.

5. Your refrigerator is operated by a compressor which switchs "on
and off" to maintain the intemal temperature. When the compressor
is new it may operatea little noisily during the initial 2 months.
This is quite normal and does not represent a fault.

FR:

1. Remettez toutes les tablettes et tous les bacs qui ont ete retires
avant le transport dans leur place.

2. Depoussierez le refrigerateur et toutes les pieces.

3. Reglez le cadran de reglage de la temperature a la position
<MAX> et laissez le refrigerateur refroidir pendant une heure. Le
compartiment conngelateur doitetre legerement frais et le moteur doit
fonctionner bien sans bruit a l'' exception d'un bourdonnement leger.

4. Vous pouvez conserver des aliments dans le refrigerateur quand
la temperature a baisse a un niveau approprie . Le refrigerateur
prend quelques heures avant d' atteindre une temperature appropriee.

5. Le refrigerateur fonctionne a l' aide d' un compresseur qui se me
sous tensiion et hors tension afin de maintenir la temperature
interieure. Quand le compresseur est noveau, il peut faire un peu
de bruit pendant les premiers deux mois mais ce bruit est normal et
ne constitue pas un defaut.

trouble can not be located, contact your dealer.

EN: The temperature in refrigerator is able to changed by adijusting
the dial. Do not set the refrigerator temperature lower than
necessary. After operation as continuous operation, be sure to
adjust the thermostat to original position.

FR: Vous pouvez vous servir du cadran de reglage de
latemperature afin d' ajuster la temperature interieure du
refrigerateur. Ne reglez pas la temperature a un niveau plus
bas de ce qui est necesaire.

EN: Set the dial at "DEF" or "OFF" position and leave the door
opened.

................After about 40 minutes, the frost on the surface of

the evaporator will begin to melt and can be easily
removed.

porte est ouverte. Apr s 40 minutes, le gel sur la surface de l'
vaporateur commencera fondre et peut tre retir facile­ ment.

EN: If you want to make ice cubes put the ice tray in
the freezer compartment.

FR: Si vous desirez faire des glacons,placea le plateau
a glacons dans le compartiment congelateur.

EN:When you want to make ice cubes rapidly, the thermostat
should be set at "COLDEST".

FR: Quand vous desirez faire des glacons rapidement, reglez
le cadran de reglage de la temperature a la position
"COLDEST".

EN: Hold both ends of the ice tray, remove the
ice cubes from the tray by twisting it gently.
Do not bend the ice tray or it will crack.

FR: Pour retirez les glacons, tenez le plateau aux deux
extremites et tordez le plateau legerement. Ne pliez pas
le plateau sinon il risque de se craquer.

TO MAKE ICE CUBES/POUR FAIRE DES GLACONS

EN: Fill the ice tray to about 80% capacity with water.
FR: Remplissez le plateau a glacons d' eau jusqu a ce qu' il
soit 80% plein.

EN: Slide the ice tray into the freezer compartment.
FR: Glissez le plateau a glacons dans le compartiment
congelateur.

Set the temperature control to "OFF"./
Reglez le cadran de reglage de la.

EN: With the freezer door open, set the temperature
control to "OFF" . In 30 to 40 minutes, the frost on the
freezer wall will begin to melt and can be easily re­ moved.

FR:temperature a la position<OFF>. Ouvrez la porte du
compartiment congelateur et reglez le cadran de
reglage de la temperature a laposition<OFF>. Dang
30 a 40 minutes le gel surles parois du compartiment
congelateur se fond et vous pouvez le retirer facile­ ment.

Do not use sharp things./

N' utilisez pas d' objets pointus.

EN: If the frost is forced off with a knife or a screwdriver, the
surface or the freezer will be damaged or have a hole
made in it .From the hole ,refrigerator woule leak and result
in inability to refrigerate.

FR: Si vous utilisez un objet pointu tel qu' un couteau ou un
tournevis pour retirer le gel, vous risquez d' endommager
le refrigerateur.

DEFROSTING / DEGIVRAGE

HOW TO DEFROST/FACON DE DEGIVRER LE REFRIGERATEUR

Videz le refrigerateur

EN: Remove ice tray and frozen foods from the fresh food
compartment.
FR: Retirez le plateau a glacons et les aliments dans le
refrigerateur.

Remove the frost with the soft cloth only./
Retirez le gel utilisant seulement unchiffon doux.

EN: Remove the frost with a cloth and wipe the freezer bot­ tom.
FR: Retirez le gel utilisant un chiffon doux et nettoyez fond du
compartiment conglateur.
