Using the Arrival Sensor:

You can place the S martThings Arr ival Sensor in a child’s
bag, in a car, or arou nd a pet’s collar and it wil l send you a
notificat ion when people, pets , and cars arrive or le ave your
home.

Using the Arrival Sensor:

If you place th e Arrival Sensor on a ke ychain, it can emit a
beeping no ise to help you find where yo u left your keys in
the house.

Meet your Arrival Sensor

The Arri val Sensor lets you stay co nnected to people, pet s,
and cars by se nding you a push notific ation when they arr ive
and leave hom e.

Installation Tips

The Arri val Sensor works best i f it’s within 15 feet (4.5
meters) of the Sma rtThings Hub whe n you connect it.

How to connect an Arrival Sensor

Select “Co nnect New Device” in the f ree SmartThings
mobile app a nd then remove the “Rem ove to pair” tab found
in the Arri val Sensor.

If your devic e doesn’t connect wh en you remove the pull-t ab,
hold the “Con nect” button for 5 se conds until the LED goe s
off. Then sel ected “Connect New De vice” in the SmartTh ings
app.

Period”). If a de fect arises and a val id claim is receiv ed within the Warra nty
Period, the n as your sole remed y (and SmartThin gs’ sole liabilit y),
SmartTh ings will at its opti on either 1) repair th e defect at no charge, u sing
new or refurb ished replacem ent parts, or 2) rep lace the Product w ith a new
product tha t is functionall y equivalent to th e original, in each c ase within 30
days followi ng receipt of the ret urned Product. A r eplacement pro duct or part,
assumes the r emaining warra nty of the origin al Product. When a P roduct or
part is exch anged, any replac ement item beco mes your proper ty and the
replaced Product or part becomes SmartThings’ property.

Obtaining S ervice: To obtain wa rranty serv ice, visit suppo rt.smartth ings.com
to speak with a s ervice agent o r open a servic e request. Please b e prepared
to describe t he Product that ne eds service an d the nature of the pro blem. A
purchase re ceipt is required. T he Product must b e insured, and ship ped
freight pre paid and securel y packaged. You must c ontact suppor t for a
Return Material Authorization Number (“RMA Number”) before shipping any
Product, an d include the RMA N umber, a copy of your pu rchase receipt an d
a descripti on of the problem yo u are experienci ng with the Produc t. Any claim
under this L imited Warrant y must be submitte d to SmartThings b efore the
end of the Warra nty Period.
