The Built-in high sensitivity COLOR CCD enables a clear image even in 0Lux(B/W, IR-LED ON) or lower illumination.

This camera has a function that automatically selects the mode that is appropriate for daytime or night-time conditions. The COLOR mode operates in daytime conditions to provide optimum colors, and B/W mode operates in night-time conditions to enhance the defi nition of the image.

The intensity of the IR-LEDs automatically adjust depending upon the closeness of the object to prevent saturation.

The IR LEDs of the SCO-3080R automatically illuminates viewing area in the extreme darkness allowing the camera a long-range visibility of up to 50 meters.

With dust and rain resistant design, the camera can be installed outside under building eaves or places that are exposed to the dust and rain.

SSDR (Samsung Super Dynamic Range)
For images with high contrast between bright and dark areas from diffi cult lighting conditions such as backlighting, this camera selectively illuminates darker areas while retaining the same light level for brighter areas to even out the overall brightness.

The DIS function compensates for any camera movement, to produce more stable pictures.

Camera Sunshield
Sunshield adaptor : Fixing the sunshield onto the camera.
Focus lever : Set focus of lens by turn the focus lever.
Zoom lever : Set zoom magnification of lens by turn the zoom lever.

Display the menu on the screen and move the cursor to four directions to confirm status or after changing a selected item.
Video Output Terminal to Monitor :
Used for monitoring of video output When camera installation.
When you adjust to the ZOOM & FOCUS of the lens, Please remove the front cover from the camera, by turning the cover counterclockwise.
To adjust the zoom & focus loosen the individual levers before tightening them again.
To ensure the weatherproof integrity is maintained, ensure the front cover is tightened correctly.

ADJUST THE LENS'S ZOOM AND FOCUS
Remove the sunshield from the camera.
1.
Remove the front cover from the camera by turning it counterclockwise.
2.
Unlock the Zoom or Focus lever before adjusting the lens.
3.
Adjust the zoom & focus by moving the lever counterclockwise for (NEAR & TELE)

and clockwise for (WIDE & FAR) position. After adjustment, tighten the zoom or focus levers, taking care not to adjust the

zoom/focus position. Please, close and tighten the front cover.

If the front cover is cross threaded or not correctly tightened the camera housing will not be weatherproof.
When you combine the front cover, combine the triangle of front cover and triangle of main body confront each other.

Select this when you experience picture fl icker, which can happen
when there is a clash with the frequency of the installed lighting.
--- : Shutter speed is fi xed at 1/60sec(1/50sec).
When the SHUTTER is set to ESC after selecting the Internal Synchronization Type, the picture may become unstable if the camera faces a bright fluorescent light. Therefore, take care when choosing the installation position. When the SHUTTER is set to MANUAL or A.FLK mode, SENS-UP will be disabled.
Set the shutter mode to --- if color rolling occurs.

OFF : Deactivates the AGC function. LOW : Allows automatic gain control from 5.3dB to 32dB. HIGH : Allows automatic gain control from 5.3dB to 37dB.
: When it is night or dark, the
camera automatically detects the light level and maintains a clear picture if this mode is activated.
OFF : Deactivates the SENS-UP function. AUTO : Activates the SENS-UP function.

: Select this to save the changes in the EXPOSURE menu and return to the
SETUP menu.
If you press the Function Setup switch in ‘AUTO’ mode, You can adjust brightness by adjusting
the SENS-UP level. (x2 ~ x512) Note that the higher the SENS-UP level, the brighter the screen, but the more likely it is that an
after-image will appear. It is normal for Noise, Spots and Whitish symptoms to appear in SENS-UP mode when the
D-ZOOM level is increased.
WHITE BAL (WHITE BALANCE)
Use the White Balance function to adjust the screen color.
When the SETUP menu screen is displayed,

select ‘White Bal’ by using the Function Setup switch so that the arrow indicates ‘White Bal’.

Because there can be a difference in the effectiveness of HLC according to the amount of light

Color is not correct.
The screen fl ickers continually.
When coaxial communication is not available
IR-LED isn't lighted.
The camera is not waterproof.
Check that the power cord and line connection between the
camera and monitor are fi xed properly.
Check that you have properly connected VIDEO cable to the
camera VIDEO output jack.
Is the lens stained with dirt? Clean your lens with a soft, clean cloth.
Check the monitor and DVR settings.
If the camera is exposed to very strong light, change the camera position.
Adjust the contrast feature of the monitor or DVR. If you have an intermediate device, set the 75Ω / Hi-z properly.
Check that you have properly connected the camera to an
appropriate power source.
Check that AGC of EXPOSURE SETUP menu is ‘OFF’. Check that SHUTTER of EXPOSURE SETUP menu is ‘A.FLK’ or
‘MANUAL’.
Check that INTELLIGENCE of menu is ‘OFF’.

Check the setting of WHITE BAL SETUP menu .
Check that the camera is not pointing at the sun.
Make sure that the camera and monitor are installed within
the recommended distance.
Use the video amplifi er equivalent to coaxitron if the
recommended installation distance is exceeded.
Isn't DAYNIGHT function setting up the color mode? Please change the AUTO or B/W mode.
