How to charge the SBP-4442
Charging the battery with AC charger (24-pin)
1. Put the AC charger into your power socket.
2. Connect the AC charger and the SBP-4442.
INFORMATION
If there is an error while the battery is charged, charging LED will be off or orange
coloured LED will brink. Check the connection again.
When the battery is charged completely, green LED of the AC adapter will be on.

- Using the AC charger : About 360 Min.
How to use the SBP-4442
Checking the SBP-4442 charging status
1. Press the Power button to turn on the SBP-4442 and you can check the charging status.
2. Press the Power button lightly and the charging status will be displayed.
3. Press the Power button for over 2 seconds and the SBP-4442 will be turned off.

- Insert the supplied DC cable for charging the SBP-4442 into the DC output terminal.
Turn on the SBP-4442 and you can use the SBP-4442 as a reserved battery for camera,
mobile phone, etc.
- You can use the SBP-4442 with a device that has 24-pin port.

Do not charge and use the battery with a device at the same time. The device may not
be used because of the low battery capacity.
When you charge a device with the SBP-4442, the charging time may vary depending
on the device type.

Do not let water or foreign objects inside the cable.
WARNING
Use the DC cable for a device that has 24-pin port.
SBP-4442 will be compatible with a Samsung camera that has 24-pin port. Check the
system chart of the user manual.
Use this battery with a device that has 24-pin port
Do not throw the battery or subject it to strong impact.
When the battery is connected to a camera or mobile phone with the DC cable, do not
apply excessive shock.
Do not store the battery pack in temperatures below 0˚C or above 40˚C.
Do not attempt to charge the battery with any other DC cable that was not supplied by
Samsung. Failure to do so may affect your warranty.

Do not let water or foreign objects inside the battery.
Do not place the battery in strong direct sunlight or locations with a high temperature, such
as in the trunk or on the dashboard of a vehicle.
Exposing the battery to strong direct sunlight may result in the battery pack leaking,
overheating, or exploding, which in turn will cause fire or other hazards. Exposing the
battery to high temperatures may also result in deformation of the case.
When using the battery charger to charge the rechargeable batteries, always do so in a
well-ventilated area.
Do not store the battery in humid or dusty locations.
Doing so may result in fire, electric shock, or other hazards.
Do not heat the battery or dispose of it in a fire.
The battery may explode. Do not charge or leave the battery near fires, stoves, or other
locations with high temperatures. If the battery leaks or emits unusual odours, immediately
ensure that it is away from any flames.
Do not disassemble or modify any part of the charger.
Do not disassemble or touch the inside of the charger. There is a risk of electric shock.
Do not modify the charger for other purposes.
Do not throw the battery or subject it to strong impact.
Do not subject the battery to continuous mechanical shocks.
Do not drop or submerge the battery in any water.
It could generate heat or corrode and result in poor performance.
Charge the battery with a 24-pin AC charger supplied with the camera.
Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
Neglecting to do so can result in children accidentally swallowing a battery or small part. If
a child has swallowed a battery, seek medical attention immediately.
Do not put a battery into a microwave oven or high-pressure container.
Do not store the battery in temperatures below 0 or above 40 . Doing so may result in
malfunction.
If you are going to store the battery for over 3 months, do so after charging it to full capacity.
If the battery is not charged, even after charging for a long time, stop charging and contact
your dealer or Samsung Camera Service Centre.
If a problem arises with the battery, keep it in a safe place and then contact your dealer or
Samsung Camera Service Centre.
