Installation
Warning
DO NOT PLACE CANDLES, INSECT REPELLANTS OR CIGARETTES ON TOP OF THE PRODUCT. DO NOT INSTALL THE PRODUCT NEAR HEAT SOURCES.

Have a technician install the wall-mount hanger.
Installation by an unqualified person can result in an injury.
Only use approved cabinets.
Do not install the product in poorly ventilated spaces such as a bookcase or closet.
An increased internal temperature may cause a fire.
Install the product at least 10 cm away from the wall to allow ventilation.

Operation
Warning
There is a high voltage inside the product. Never disassemble, repair or modify the product yourself.

Before moving the product, turn off the power switch and disconnect the power cable and all other connected cables.
Damage to the cord may result in a fire or electric shock.
If the product generates abnormal sounds, a burning smell or smoke, disconnect the power cord immediately and contact Samsung Customer Service Center.

If the product is dropped or the outer case is damaged, turn off the power switch and disconnect the power cord. Then contact Samsung Customer Service Center.

Do not leave heavy objects or items that children like (toys, sweets, etc.) on top of the product.
During a lightning or thunderstorm, power off the product and remove the power cable.

Keep the DC power adapter in a well-ventilated area.
If you place the AC/DC power adapter so that it is hanging with the cord input facing upwards, water or other foreign substances could enter the Adapter and cause the Adapter to malfunction.
Make sure to rest the AC/DC power adapter flat on a table or the floor.
The screen is bright. Keep a sufficient distance from the screen.
Continuously looking at the screen up close is bad for your eyes.

Do not dispose of batteries in a fire.
Cleaning
Exercise care when cleaning as the panel and exterior of advanced LCDs are easily scratched.
Be careful when touching the LED fixture on the front of the product. There is a risk that LED elements may fall off.
Storage
Contact Customer Service Center if the inside of the product needs cleaning (service fee will be charged).

Safety Lock

Before Connecting
Pre-connection Checkpoints
Before connecting a source device, read the user manual provided with it. The number and locations of ports on source devices may differ from device to device.
Do not connect the power cable until all connections are completed. Connecting the power cable during connection may damage the product.
Check the types of ports at the back of the product you want to connect.
Connecting to a PC
Do not connect the power cable before connecting all other cables. Ensure you connect a source device first before connecting the power cable.
A PC can be connected to the product in a variety of ways. Select a connection method suitable for your PC.

To properly display images from the computer that is connected to the product via an HDMI-DVI cable, make sure to configure the settings as follows.

Connection Using an DP Cable
DP IN
Precautions for using DP
To increase the standby power capacity, the product stops DP communication when it is turned
off or in power-saving mode. If the product in dual monitor mode is turned off or goes into power-saving mode, monitor
setting changes may not be updated. As a result, screen output may not be displayed properly. In the occurrence of this issue, set Max. Power Saving to Off before using the product.
Some graphics cards that are not compliant with the DP standard may prevent the Windows
Booting/Bios screen from being displayed when the product is in power-saving mode. If this is the case, make sure to turn on the product first before turning on your PC.
The DisplayPort interface (DP IN) on the product and the provided DP cable are designed based
on the VESA standards. Using a DP cable that is not VESA compliant may cause the product to function improperly. Samsung Electronics shall not be held responsible for any issues from using a cable that is not VESA compliant.
Make sure to use a DP cable that is VESA compliant.

Connecting to a Video Device
Do not connect the power cable before connecting all other cables. Ensure you connect a source device first before connecting the power cable.
You can connect a video device to the product using a cable.
Connecting parts may differ in different products.
After connecting an external device, press the SOURCE button on either the remote control or SBB-IS08E to select the connected external device.
Connection Using an HDMI-DVI Cable
To properly play content saved on a video device that is connected to the product via an HDMI-DVI cable, make sure to configure the settings as follows. You can use the DVI port on the product as an HDMI port by using a DVI-HDMI adapter.

Connection Using an HDMI Cable
Using an HDMI cable or HDMI to DVI Cable (up to 1080p)
For better picture and audio quality, connect to a digital device using an HDMI cable.
If the product is connected to an external device that is compatible with an older HDMI version, the product may not display screen colors properly. It may also display a blank screen.
If such a problem occurs, ask the manufacturer of the external device about the HDMI version and, if out of date, request an upgrade.
Be sure to use an HDMI cable with a thickness of 14 mm or less.

Precautions when handling the cabinets
[Caution to prevent external shock and dropping of the product]
After removing the protective brackets, be careful not to expose the product to external shocks or vibrations. Make sure that the product is not dropped from any height.
Be careful not to expose the product to vibrations or external shocks when it is lying flat on the floor.
[Caution to prevent damage to corners]
Take extra care to ensure that the corners of a cabinet do not get damaged.
After removing the protective brackets, do not place the product on the floor with the LED facing down.

Do not touch the product without anti-static gloves.
Restrictions when installing cabinets
For each SBB-IS08E, a maximum of 18 IL015E devices or a maximum of 50 IL025E devices can be installed.
To obtain Full HD 50/60 Hz picture quality with IL015E devices, install the devices using the 3*6 layout. To obtain the same picture quality with IL025E devices, install the devices using the 5*10 layout.

Connecting to cabinets
Connect SBB-IS08E to an external device, and then connect it to IL015E or IL025E devices.
Connecting parts may differ in different products.
Do not connect the power cable before connecting all other cables. Ensure you connect a source device first before connecting the power cable.
Connect HDBT cables, and then connect DP or stereo cables according to the following steps.

If another display is connected to the DP OUT port on a cabinet, the screen may not display properly.
The DP port is provided as a redundant port to be used if an issue occurs under a connection established via the HDBT port.

Recommended number of devices for connection for each input voltage
If using 110 V, you can connect at most three IL015E devices. To use IL025E devices with the same voltage, connecting a maximum of four devices is recommended.
If using 220 V, you can connect at most six IL015E devices. To use IL025E devices with the same voltage, connecting a maximum of eight devices is recommended.
Exceeding the recommended maximum number of devices can cause the circuit breaker of the
product to trigger due to overload.

Using LED Signage Manager
The installation process for LED Signage Manager may be affected by the graphics card, motherboard, and network environment.
Make sure that Windows 7 or higher and Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 are installed on the computer, before installing LED Signage Manager.
The LED Signage Manager software allows you to easily control multiple display devices from your computer.
For details on how to use the LED Signage Manager software, refer to the Help after installing the software. The LED Signage Manager software is available on the website.
