Installation
The Ceiling Mounted Adaptor (SADT-100CM) is the adapter used
for the installation of the Smartdome Camera (indoor or outdoor
housing) on concrete ceilings..
Precautions Before Installation
Make sure that the proposed location can support the combined weights (about 8kg)
•
of the Ceiling Mounted Adaptor, Outdoor Housing and Smartdome Camera.
The product is designed to use M10 anchor bolts or anchor nuts.
•
When installing the product on a concrete wall, use M10 anchor bolts/nuts together
•
with plain and spring washers.
Each anchor bolt must be capable of withstanding an extraction force of 700 kg.
•
When installing the product outdoors, use interlocking devices made of stainless steel.
•
This goods should only be installed by a qualified technician using approved materials
•
and wiring practices in accordance with national, state, and local electrical code.
Select a location that is capable of supporting four times the

total weight of the product to be installed (about 32 kg).
Use the Ceiling Mount Adaptor to mark the positions for the

M10 anchor bolts or nuts, drill the holes and install the anchor
bolts/nuts.
If the cable pipe is installed inside the wall:

1) Pull the power cable, video-out cable and
communications cable out through the holes
of the Ceiling Mounted Adaptor. Take care not to
damage avoid damage tothe cable sleeving.
2) Securely fasten the Ceiling Mounted Adaptor
using the anchor bolts/nuts.
If the cable pipe is installed on the wall:
1) Make a hole of 21mm in diameter on the outside of the pipe (on the side
and near the tip) and install a PG13.5 cable gland.
2) Pull the cables out to the pipe through the cable gland.
3) Attach the 1.5" NPT pipe to the Ceiling Mounted Adaptor. Make sure to
wind Teflon tape around the screws for watertightness.
4) Securely fasten the Ceiling Mounted Adaptor using the anchor bolts/nuts.

Attach the 1.5" NPT Pipe (300m) to the Ceiling Mount

Adaptor and then insert the Decorative Cover. The
Decorative Cover is used for double ceiling installation to
cover the holes. Then wind T eflon tape around the 1.5"
housing screw.
Install the Housing in accordance with the installation

manual.
After installing the adaptor, apply silicon sealant around the

adaptor and between the adaptor and the wall for water
tightness. If the wall surface is uneven, pay particular
attention that no gaps are left.

Zusammenfassung
Installation
Der Deckenadapter (SADT-100CM) wird für die Installation der
Smartdome Camera (Innenraum- oder Außengehäuse) auf
Betondecken benutzt.
Vorsichtsmassnahmen Vor Der Installation
Stellen Sie sicher, dass der geplante Ort das Gesamtgewicht (ca. 8 kg) von
•
Deckenadapter, Außengehäuse und Smartdome Camera tragen kann.
Das Produkt ist für die Verwendung von M10-Ankerbolzen/-muttern konstruiert.
•
Wenn Sie das Produkt auf einer Betonwand installieren, benutzen Sie die
•
M10-Ankerbolzen/-muttern zusammen mit Unterleg- und Federscheiben.
Jeder Ankerbolzen muss für eine Zugkraft von 700 kg ausgelegt sein.
•
Wenn Sie das Produkt im Freien installieren, benutzen Sie
•
Verriegelungsvorrichtungen aus rostfreiem Stahl.
Wählen Sie eine Position, die das vierfache Gesamtgewicht

des zu installierenden Produktes tragen kann (ca. 32 kg).
Benutzen Sie den Deckenadapter, um die Stellen für die M10-
2
Ankerbolzen oder -muttern zu kennzeichnen. Bohren Sie
dann die Löcher und montieren Sie die Ankerbolzen/-muttern.
Wenn das Kabelrohr in der Wand installiert ist:

1) Ziehen Sie das Stromkabel, Videoausgangs-Kabel
und Datenübertragungskabel durch die Löcher des
Deckenadapters heraus. Achten Sie darauf, dass
dabei die Kabelummantelung nicht beschädigt wird.
2) Befestigen Sie den Deckenadapter sorgfältig
mittels Ankerbolzen/-muttern.
Wenn das Kabelrohr auf der in der Wand installiert ist:
1) Machen Sie ein Loch von 21 mm Durchmesser auf der Außenseite des
Rohres (an der Seite, in Nähe des Rohrendes) und montieren Sie eine
PG13.5-Kabeleinführung.
2) Ziehen Sie die Kabel durch die Kabeleinführung heraus zum Rohr.
3) Befestigen Sie das 1.5" NPT-Rohr am Deckenadapter.
Zur Wasserabdichtung sollten Sie unbedingt Teflonband um die
Schrauben wickeln.
4) Befestigen Sie den Deckenadapter mithilfe der Ankerbolzen/-muttern.

Bringen Sie das 1,5" NPT-Rohr (300 m) am Deckenadapter

an und setzen Sie dann die Sichtabdeckung auf. Die
Sichtabdeckung wird bei der Doppeldeckeninstallation zur
Abdeckung der Löcher benutzt. Wickeln Sie dann ein
T eflonband um die 1,5"-Gehäuseschraube.
IInstallieren Sie das Gehäuse wie im Installationshandbuch

beschrieben.
Nachdem Sie den Adapter installiert haben, tragen Sie zur

Wasserabdichtung die Silikondichtungsmasse um den
Adapter und zwischen Adapter und Wand auf. Wenn die
Wandoberfläche uneben ist, achten Sie besonders darauf,
dass keine Lücken entstehen.
