features and functions that your new appliance offers safely and
efciently.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including

been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

• In order to avoid the creation of a ammable gas-air mixture
if a leak in the refrigerating circuit occurs, the size of the room
in which the appliance may be sited depends on the amount of
refrigerant used.
• Never start up an appliance showing any signs of damage. If in

Severe warning signs for transportation and site
WARNING
• When transporting and installing the appliance,care should be
taken to ensure that no parts of the refrigerating circuit are
damaged.

- Refrigerant leaking from the pipe work could ignite or cause
an eye injury. If a leak is detected, avoid any naked ames
or potential sources of ignition and air the room in which the
appliance is standing for several minutes.
- This appliance contains a small amount of isobutane refrigerant
(R-600a), a natural gas with high environmental compatibility
that is, however, also combustible. When transporting and
installing the appliance, care should be taken to ensure that no
parts of the refrigerating circuit are damaged.
• When transporting and installing the refrigerator, do not touch the
water hose on the back side of the refrigerator.
- This may damage the refrigerator and as a result the water
dispenser can not be used.

The refrigerator should always be plugged into its own individual
electrical outlet which has a voltage rating that matches the
voltage listed on the refrigerator’s rating plate.
- This provides the best performance and also prevents
overloading of house wiring circuits, which could cause a re
hazard from overheated wires.
• If the wall socket is loose, do not insert the power plug.
- There is a risk of electric shock of re.
• Do not use a power cord that has cracks or abrasion damage along
its length or at either end.
• Do not bend the power cord excessively or place heavy objects on

Usage cautions
CAUTION
• Do not re-freeze frozen foods that have thawed completely. Do
not place carbonated or zzy drinks in the freezer compartment.
Do not put bottles or glass containers in the freezer.
- When the contents freeze, the glass may break and cause
personal injury.
• Use only the ice maker provided with the refrigerator.
• Have the refrigerator’s water supply connected only to a potable
water supply. To operate the ice maker properly, water pressure of
20 ~ 125 psi (138 ~ 862 kPa) is required. If you will be away from
home for a long period of time (on vacation, for example) and
won’t be using the water or ice dispensers, close the water valve.
- Otherwise, water leakage may occur.
• If you won’t be using the refrigerator for a very long period of
time, (3 weeks or more) empty the refrigerator including the ice

Saving Energy Tips
• Install the appliance in a cool, dry room with adequate ventilation.
Ensure that it is not exposed to direct sunlight and never put it
near a direct source of heat (a radiator, for example).

• Allow warm food to cool down before placing it in the appliance.
• Put frozen food in the refrigerator to thaw. You can then use

To repair the water line
The waterline must be repaired by a qualied professional. If you encounter a water leak,
contact a local Samsung service centre or the installer of the waterline.
1. Loosen and remove the compression
nut (a) from the water line of the
refrigerator, and insert it to the water
ltering hose.
2. Tighten up the compression nut (a) to
connect the water ltering hose and the
water line.
3. Open the main water valve and check
for any leaks.
4. If there are no leaks, dispense about a
3 liters of water before actually using
the refrigerator to remove impurities
inside the water ltering system.
CAUTION
STEP 6 Initial settings
By completing the following steps, the refrigerator should be fully functioning.
1. Plug the power cord into the wall socket to turn the refrigerator on.
2. Open the door, and check if the interior light lights up.
3. Set the temperature to the coldest, and wait for about an hour. Then, the freezer will be
slightly chilled, and the motor will run smoothly.
4. Wait until the refrigerator reaches the set temperature. Now the refrigerator is ready
for use.
STEP 7 Final check
When installation is complete, conrm that:
• The refrigerator is plugged into an electrical outlet and grounded properly.
• The refrigerator is installed on a at, level surface with a reasonable clearance from the
wall or the cabinet.

The Freezer button can be used to set the freezer temperature, or to

Power Freeze speeds up the freezing process at maximum fan speed.
The freezer keeps running at full speed for several hours and then
returns to the previous temperature.
• To activate Power Freeze, press and hold Freezer for 3 seconds.
The corresponding indicator (
) lights up, and the refrigerator will
speed up the freezing process for you.
• To deactivate, press and hold Freezer for 3 seconds again. The
Power Freeze

• To freeze large amounts of food, activate Power Freeze for at least
24 hours before putting food in the freezer.
NOTE
Using Power Freeze increases power consumption. Make sure you turn
it off and return to the previous temperature if you do not intend to

The Lighting button can be used to switch the temperature scale between Celsius and

Power Cool.
You can manually adjust the cooling temperature for the fridge. Keep

desired temperature between 1 °C (34 °F) and 7 °C (44 °F).
Power Cool speeds up the cooling process at maximum fan speed.

is left open for some time. The fridge keeps running at full speed for
several hours and then returns to the previous temperature.
Press and hold Power Cool for 3 seconds.
You can set the alarm for a reminder. If the door is left open for more
than 2 minutes, the alarm will sound with the alarm indicator ( )
blinking. The alarm is enabled by factory default. To disable the alarm,
press Door Alarm. To enable, press Door Alarm again.

The lter lifecycle will be reset and the lter indicator turns off. The icon will blink red for

water lter, the Filter indicator turns red to remind you that the lter
needs to be replaced. If this happens, replace the lter, and press and
hold Filter Reset for 3 seconds.

Water dispenser (applicable models only)
With the water dispenser, you can dispense water without opening the fridge door.
Basically, the water dispenser offers
3 options: chilled water, cubed ice, and
crushed ice. If you do not want to dispense
ice, press Ice Maker Off.
With the Ice Maker enabled,
1. Press to select the ice type.
2. Put a water glass on the dispenser lever
and push it. Ice will be dispensed from
the dispenser.
3. Press to select the water.
4. Then, put the glass on the dispenser
lever and push it. Water will be
dispensed from the dispenser.

NOTE
• To prevent spills, wait 2 seconds before removing the glass after dispensing.
• The dispenser will stop dispensing if you keep pushing the dispenser lever for about
1 minute. To dispense more water, release and push the lever again.

spilling out.
• If you do not use the water dispenser for 2-3 days, the dispensed water may have an

mandata dell'acqua.

sbrinarlo manualmente poiché tale operazione è automatica. Tale
operazione verrà effettuata automaticamente.
• L'aumento di temperatura per lo sbrinamento è conforme ai requisiti
ISO. Per prevenire un inopportuno aumento della temperatura dei cibi
surgelati durante lo sbrinamento dell'apparecchio, conservare i cibi
congelati in appositi involucri.
• Non congelare nuovamente cibi già scongelati.
• La temperatura di comparti o sezioni a due stelle, contrassegnati dal

), è lievemente superiore rispetto a quella di altri comparti

Consigli per risparmiare energia
• Installare l'apparecchio in un luogo fresco, asciutto e dotato di adeguata
ventilazione. Accertarsi che non sia esposto a luce solare diretta e non sia
installato vicino a una fonte diretta di calore (un calorifero, ad esempio).
• Si raccomanda di non ostruire le ventole e le griglie di ventilazione per
garantire l'efcienza energetica.
• Lasciare che il cibo caldo si raffreddi prima di riporlo nell'apparecchio.
• Per scongelare i surgelati, collocarli in frigorifero. Le basse temperature
dei surgelati consentono inoltre di rinfrescare ulteriormente gli alimenti
presenti in frigorifero.
• Nel riporre o estrarre gli alimenti, non tenere per molto tempo la porta
aperta. Minore è il tempo in cui viene lasciata aperta la porta, minore sarà
la quantità di brina accumulata all'interno del freezer.
• Si consiglia di installare il frigorifero mantenendo dello spazio sul retro e
sui lati. Ciò consentirà di ridurre sia il consumo energetico sia il costo della
bolletta elettrica.
• Per i migliori risultati in termini di efcienza energetica, tenere tutti gli
accessori interni quali cestelli, cassetti e ripiani nella posizione indicata dal

• La supercie sulla quale appoggiare il
frigorifero deve essere in grado di sostenere
il peso del frigorifero a pieno carico.
• Per proteggere il pavimento, inserire un
listello di legno sotto ogni piedino.
• Una volta posizionato il frigorifero nella
sua posizione denitiva, non spostarlo, a
meno che non sia necessario, in modo da
salvaguardare il pavimento. Se necessario,
usare un foglio di carta spesso o del tessuto

• Il frigorifero deve essere livellato, su una supercie stabile e solida. La mancata osservanza di
tale indicazione può danneggiare il frigorifero o provocare lesioni personali.
• Il ivellamento del frigorifero deve essere eseguito a frigorifero vuoto. Assicurarsi che non vi sia
del cibo all'interno del frigorifero.
• Per motivi di sicurezza, regolare i piedini anteriori leggermente più alti rispetto al retro.
Il frigorifero può essere livellato usando i piedini anteriori dotati di una apposita vite di regolazione
del livello. Per eseguire la regolazione usare un cacciavite a lama piatta.

L'altezza di una porta può essere regolata usando il dado di ssaggio ed il dado di regolazione

1. Aprire la porta per regolare, quindi

frontale della porta.
2. Con la chiave in dotazione ruotare il dado di

Il divario può essere regolato manualmente
mediante il bullone di regolazione posto nella
parte posteriore superiore di ogni porta.
1. Per regolare il divario, agire come segue:
- Per aumentare lo spazio, ruotare il
bullone di regolazione (A) in senso
orario.
- Per ridurre lo spazio, ruotare il bullone di
regolazione (A) in senso antiorario.
2. Una volta corretto lo spazio, serrare il
controdado (B) ruotandolo in senso orario.

Per collegare la mandata dell'acqua fredda alla tubazione del ltro dell'acqua
ATTENZIONE
• Assicurarsi che il tubo del ltro dell'acqua sia collegato ad una mandata di acqua potabile. Il
collegamento alla mandata dell'acqua calda può causare il malfunzionamento del sistema di
depurazione.
1. Chiudere la mandata dell'acqua agendo sulla
valvola di chiusura principale.
2. Individuare la mandata dell'acqua (1) fredda
potabile.
3. Seguire le indicazioni riportate in
Installazione delle tubazioni per collegare i
tubi dell'acqua.
4. Al termine, aprire la valvola di chiusura
della mandata principale e ussare circa 3
litri di acqua. Ciò permetterà di rimuovere
eventuali impurità dalla tubazione.

Per collegare il ltro alla tubazione
1. Svitare e rimuovere il controdado (a) dal
tubo dell'acqua del frigorifero ed inserirlo
nel tubo di ltraggio dell'acqua.
2. Serrare il controdado (a) per collegare il
tubo di ltraggio ed il tubo dell'acqua.
3. Aprire la valvola di mandata principale e
vericare eventuali perdite.
4. In caso non si riscontrino perdite, ussare
circa 3 litri d'acqua prima di utilizzare il
frigorifero in modo da rimuovere eventuali
impurità dal sistema di ltraggio dell'acqua.

Per riparare la tubazione dell'acqua
La tubazione dell'acqua deve essere riparata da un tecnico specializzato. Qualora si riscontrino
perdite di acqua, contattare un centro di assistenza autorizzato Samsung o l'installatore della
tubazione dell'acqua.
PASSAGGIO 6 Impostazioni iniziali
Completando i seguenti passaggi, il frigorifero sarà pienamente operativo.
1. Inserire il cavo di alimentazione in una presa elettrica a muro per accenderlo.
2. Aprire la porta e controllare che la luce interna si sia accesa.
3. Impostare la temperatura sul valore più freddo e attendere un'ora. Il freezer si raffredderà
moderatamente e il motore girerà regolarmente.
4. Attendere no a quando il frigorifero abbia raggiunto la temperatura impostata. Il frigorifero è
ora pronto per l'uso.
PASSAGGIO 7 Controllo nale
Al termine dell’installazione, accertarsi che:
• Il frigorifero sia collegato ad una presa elettrica e sia dotato di una opportuna messa a terra.
• Il frigorifero sia installato su una supercie piana e livellata con sufciente spazio dalla parete o
dal mobile.
• Il frigorifero sia livellato e stabilmente posizionato sul pavimento.
• La porta si apra e si chiuda liberamente e la luce interna si accenda automaticamente all'apertura
della porta.

Qualora non si riesca a far passare il frigorifero attraverso una soglia a causa delle sue dimensioni,
seguire le istruzioni di seguito:

Scollegare il tubo dell'acqua.
1. Dalla parte posteriore in fondo del
frigorifero, estrarre il tubo dell'acqua verso
avanti.
NOTA
La tubazione del frigorifero è una tubazione
a circolazione d'acqua che collega la mandata
dell'acqua con il sistema di ltraggio del
frigorifero.
2. Per scollegare le tubazioni, tenere premuto
l'accoppiatore trasparente (A) e staccare la
tubazione dell'acqua (B).
ATTENZIONE
Non applicare una forza eccessiva
sull'accoppiatore. Potrebbe rompersi.

Staccare le porte
Le porte potrebbero cadere danneggiandosi durante una della fasi successive. Al ne di prevenire
un incidente, prestare la massima cautela durante l'esecuzione dei passaggi successivi.

ATTENZIONE
1. Usare un cavviate a croce per svitare i copri
cerniera (A) situati sulla sommità di ogni
porta.
2. Aprire le porte per allentare le cerniere e
rimuoverne i coperchi. Una volta rimossi i
coperchi, chiudere le porte.
3. Scollegare i collegamenti elettrici.
4. Svitare le viti delle cerniere (B) in senso
antiorario, e rimuovere la cerniera superiore
(C). Prestare attenzione a non far cadere la
porta provocandovi delle lesioni siche.

5. Rimuovere le cerniere (C) su entrambi i lati.

6. Sollevare delicatamente le porte una alla
volta per rimuoverle. Prestare attenzione
poiché la porta potrebbe cadere o cadervi
addosso.
Ricollegare i tubi dell'acqua
Una volta fatto passare il frigorifero nella soglia, ricollegare i tubi dell'acqua ed inserire i fermi in
dotazione (x2) per ssare l'accoppiatore.
ATTENZIONE
• Assicurarsi che i tubi dell'acqua siano
collegati rispettando le colorazioni.
• Per evitare eventuali perdite, ogni
tubo dell'acqua deve essere inserito
completamente verso il centro
dell'accoppiatore trasparente per poi
ssarlo.

Rimontaggio delle porte
• Prima di rimontare le porte, assicurarsi che tutti i connettori elettrici siano correttamente
collegati.
• La porta del freezer deve essere rimontata per prima.

1. Inserire la porta del freezer nella cerniera
posta sul fondo del frigorifero.
2. Sul lato superiore, inserire la cerniera (A)
nell'alloggiamento apposito.
3. Inserire il perno della cerniera superiore (B)
nel foro della cerniera (C). Assicurarsi che il
perno della cerniera sia diritto in modo che
tutti i fori delle viti siano completamente
scoperti. Quindi, serrare le viti della cerniera
(D) in senso orario.

01 Freezer / Congelamento rapido (3 sec)
Il tasto Freezer può essere usato per impostare la temperatura del freezer
Freezer
o per attivare/disattivare la funzione Congelamento rapido. Intervallo
temperature disponibile: tra -15 °C e -23 °C (predenito -22 °C).
La funzione Congelamento rapido accelera il processo di congelamento
attivando la massima velocità di ventilazione. Il freezer continua a funzionare
al massimo per diverse ore quindi torna alla temperatura precedente.
• Per attivare la funzione Congelamento rapido, tenere premuto il tasto
Freezer per 3 secondi. La spia corrispondente si illumina (
), ed il
frigorifero accelererà il processo di congelamento.
Power Freeze

• Per disattivarla, tenere premuto nuovamente il tasto Freezer per 3 secondi.
Il freezer torna all'impostazione di temperatura precedente.
• Per congelare grandi quantità di cibo, attivare la funzione Congelamento
rapido per almeno 24 ore prima di inserire il cibo nel freezer.
NOTA
L'uso della funzione Congelamento rapido aumenta il consumo energetico.
Accertarsi di disattivarla per tornare all'impostazione di temperatura
precedente qualora non si desideri utilizzarla.
02 Illuminazione / °C °F (3 sec)
Il tasto Lighting (Illuminazione) può essere usato per passare dai valori espressi in Gradi Centigradi
a quelli in Gradi Fahrenheit. Per passare da una scala di temperatura ad un'altra, tenere premuto il
tasto Lighting (Illuminazione) per 3 secondi per cambiare la scala delle temperatura prescelta.

Il tasto Vacation (Vacanze) può essere usato per attivare/disattivare la
modalità Vacanze.
Se ci si assenta per lungo tempo per una vacanza o un viaggio di lavoro o
non si intenda utilizzare il frigorifero per diverso tempo, attivare la modalità
Vacanze. Premere il tasto Vacation (Vacanze) per 3 secondi per spegnere il
frigorifero con la corripondente spia accesa (
).
NOTA
Si consiglia fortemente di vuotare i comparti del frigorifero ed assicurarsi che
la porta sia ben chiusa.

disattivare la funzione Congelamento rapido.

Funzionamento
È possibile regolare manualmente la temperatura di raffreddamento del
frigorifero. Tenere premuto Fridge (Frigo) per scorrere la barra della
temperatura selezionando la temperatura desiderata tra 1 °C e 7 °C.
Raffreddamento rapido accelera il processo di raffreddamento attivando la
massima velocità di ventilazione. Questo è utile per raffreddare rapidamente
del cibo che si guasti in poco tempo, o dopo l'apertura prolungata della porta.
Il frigorifero continua a funzionare al massimo per diverse ore quindi torna
alla temperatura precedente.
Tenere premuto il tasto Power Cool (Raffreddamento rapido) per 3 secondi.
È possibile impostare l'allarme per un promemoria. Se la porta viene
lasciata aperta per oltre 2 minuti, l'allarme suonerà e la spia di allarme ( )
lampeggerà. L'allarme è attivo come impostazione predenita dalla fabbrica.
Per disabilitare l'allarme, premere Door Alarm (Allarme porta). Per abilitare la
funzione, premere nuovamente Door Alarm (Allarme porta).
06 Filtro
Il ciclo vitale del ltro verrà ripristinato e la spia del ltro si spegnerà. L'icona lampeggerà in rosso
per diversi secondi durante l'apertura o la chiusura della porta.
