SAFETY NOTES
WARNING
If th e supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or their service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid any hazard. The p ower supply should not be reconnected within 5 minutes to prevent the compressor being damaged.
Do not use combusti ble sprays,such as spray-paint or dopes, which will probab ly give rise t o explosion. Note: Do not expo se the app liance in the outdoo r and rain.
Don't let children play with or hang on the unit as this will damage the unit or hurt children.
Keep the appliance back out of water to avoid impairing insulation.
War nin g
The temperature indicator flash may probably result from too much stuff,long lasting or frequent opening or li ttle space between hot items and the sensor.
Keep the sensor uncovered or out of item contact; A lump input of hot items or frequent or long-lasting opening will raise the inside temperature; and the temperature indicator will flash and recover in 24 hours; Poor door closing or a lump input of hot items or frequent or long-lasting opening may result in temperature indicator flash, poor cooling effect or long work;
Do not store infl ammable or explos ive hazardous items and strong acid or alka line corrosive s chemicals, such as butan e,aeth er,benz ene, vitriol,gasoline,alcohol etc. Do not put the bottled fluid foods in the freez er as that will cause bottle cracks.
Do not continue using the malfunctional or damaged appliance. Please cut off the power and call the local service center.
The appliance must be installation that the plug sh oul d be ea sil y accessible after installation.
WARNING
If there is gas leaking, please shut the gas valve and change the room air before pulling out the power p lug because unplugging will accompan y spa rks t hat w ill probably give rise to accidents.

SAFETY NOTES

Please refer to the model and serial number to compare the products;
Before connecting to power, please verify the power supply voltage and the rated voltage of the
appliance.The rated voltage allowance is 220-240V. For safety purpose, the wires which can bear over 10A current must be used.
After using the freezer, do close the drawer before you shut the freezer door.
Should the Fridge TEMP. reads negative,please check if the appliance runs under Super Cool.
During the hot weather in Summer, the appliance will run a longer time, the ice will be found in the
back wall and the freezer temperature is low. The above is normal.
The electric parts in PCB will get hot during work and shall be kept from water.
Alert
The refrigarant leaked from the pipe may catch fire or hurt your eyes. If refrigerant leakage occurs, please keep away the fire or potential fire source, and keep the room aired for several minutes.
- To avoid the combustible gas composed of the refrigerant leaked from the cooling circuit and the air, please select the room size to accommodate t he appliance according to the refrigerant quantity. The room size shall be calculated as per the criterion of 8g R600a per square metres. For details of the refrigerant quantity, please refer to the manual.
- Do not start the appliance that has any damage. If any problems, please contact the dealer or service centre.
WARNING
The cooling effects originates from refrigerant that is filled through special process. Please ensure the pipes in the rear are intact.
This appliance adopts R600a refrigerant which is combustible. During transportation and installation, please handle the appliance carefully to protect the cooling system from damage.
- Keep ventilati on op enings, in the appl ian ce en closure or in th e bui ld- in structure, clear of obstruc tio n.
- Do not use mechani cal d evices or other mea ns to a cce lerate the def ros tin g process, other than those r eco mmended by the manu fac turer.
- Do not damage the re fri gerant circuit.
- Do not use electri cal a ppliances insid e the f ood s torage compa rtm ent s of the appliance, unl ess t hey are of the type rec omm ended by the manufa ctu rer.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
The front frame and side plate get hot
- The de-dew pipe is built in the frame to avoid dews condensing on the frame. It will get hot when the appliance is running.
- The cooling assembly(condensor) is installed on both sides of the frame.
Ice cracks are heard
- It is not a fault. When the appliance is initiated or closed, poop will be heard due to sharp change of temperature which cause uneven heat imposed on the interior parts
Frost or ice is found on the back
- The cool ing pipes in the back will be under 0 when the appl iance is running. Fros t or ice will be found on the back due to dense moist ure.
- When the appliance is off, the fros t will disappear automati cally.
- Suggest to clean the appl iance once per month.
- Foods and food container shall not lean closely agai nst the back.
Streaming is heard
- It is not a fault. The sound is heard when the refrigerant flows.
PREPARATIONS BEFORE USE
Basic preparations
1. In the initial use, please remove 2 tapes from both sides of the glass shelf and embed two side tubers into the recess of the inner gallbladder.
2. Clean the appliance with the wet wiper(add a few detergents into the warm water).
3. After 2-3 hours cooling, you may store the foods to regulate the appliance working.
* Suggest to put in the foods after 2-3 hours cooling.

Dews are condensed on the mid-ridge and the frame
- When the environmental humidity exceeds standard.
- Please wipe with the soft cloth.
Dews condensed in the vegetable compartment.
- When the door is left open for long time or
- The fluid food are not properly seal ed.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
The appliance does not work.
- The Plug is not well connected.
- No power supply.
- Resart the appliance within 5 minutes after power-off.
Nonstop working is incurred to the appliance.
- When the room temperature is high, or the appliance is near heat or exposed in the sun.
- The door is opened frequently or well closed.
- The room has poor ventilation.
- The food is over stuffe d, re sul tin g in ba d coo lin g.
The food in the refrigerator is frozen
-
The thermostat setting is too low.
- The foods contact the cooling source in the back wall.
Noise is heard
- The appliance is not steadily placed.
- The appliance is too close to the wall.
- The exterior cooling pipes clash with each other or with fridge wall.
- Something unexpected is behind or under.
- The motor will give out buzz when running.
- Items stored are not steadily placed.
Change the lamp
Pull out the power plug.
Remove the screws from the lamp cover, then hold the rear with fingers to draw out the cover with forward force.
Turn off the bulb counterclockwise.
Turn on the bulb clockwise.
Hang the back hook first, fix the front hook and fit the screws.

INSTALLATION & SETUP
Place the refrigerator
1.Remove the foot cushion prior to use.
2.If the appliance is placed unsteadily, you may adjust the front leg in the bottom to stablize the appliance (lift by turning left).There is a adjust hole i n the f ron t leg .You may adjust it with a crosshead screwdriver (see right figure).
3.The ground under the appliance shall be flat a nd so lid . Otherwise noise and oscillation will arise.
The noise will grow stronger if the appliance is put on the soft ground;
Please put a solid plate on the blanket, to avoid miscolor or heat blocking;
To stablize the appliance, please leave the foot contacting the ground closely and keep the appliance leaning back for easy closing of t he do or.;
Packaging & handling

The freezer generates poor effect.
- The door is not well closed.
- The door gasket is damaged or distored or poorly sealed.
- The appliance is near heat or exposed in Sun.
- The appliance is not well aired.
The defrost water outflows inside.
- The water outlet is block.
- Please get rid of the block with a plug or similar tools.
1.Unpacking, repacking and handling
Do remember where the packages are during unpa cki ng an d exa min ing . The products can not be transported until they are repac ked a fte r exa min ing .
2.Do not hold the door during transportation.
3.Avoid clash or acute shaking during handling.
4.Vertical handling to avoid clash
Do not position the appliance reversely or horizontally. If ti lting is required, the tilting angle shall be less than45° 。
Please handle the appliance as per the instructions to prevent from noise or some other problems.

Accessories
GUARD-WINE
The multifunctional wine guard may support 3 cans o f bev era ge horizontally or 1 bottle of drinking vertically.
The appl iance shall not be place where ther e is moisture to avoi d mental rust and insulation impai rment; If the appl ianc e is placed near the pool or in the basement , a overload prot ector is required except for the eart h wire. If the appl ianc e is soaked due to the natural disaster (such as rainst orm or acci dents), pleas e have it repaired by Sumsung service center bef ore use.
The appliance shall be far away from heat source and direct sunlight.
A separate socket for earth wire with 3 cores sha ll be used and shall not be shared with other apparatus. For safety purpose,please connect the earth wire that is in pl ace on the earthing pole of the socket.The wire shall not be connected to the water pi pe, gas pipeline, telephone line and lightning rod etc.
Make sure not to press the power cord. No appliances such as microwave, electric cooker and transformer are allowed on the top of the appliance.
Disassembly of accessories
Shelf-R
You may adjust the shelf position as per the container height.
Drawer-F
You may pull the drawer to the stopper and take it out tipsily.
Tray and COVER-VEG
Draw out the tray-veg and take it out when the cover is lifted.
Warning: During disassembling, do not force out the tray to avoid the damage of the appliance.
TRAY-EGG & GUARD-BOTTLE
Lift and take out them.
TRAY-VEG.
The tray-veg can reserve the water and freshness of fruits and vegetables because it is sealed to avoid direct contact between cold air and vegetables. Applicable to storage of vegetables and fruits.

Before you discard the appliance, please scrap the gasket.
The scraped items shall be properly treated or disposed of by professionals. Do not discard the scraps anywhere to avoid damages to the environment or other risks.
1.K eep the appliance out of water because it will get rusty and problem. Ple ase wipe the electric parts such as switch with dry cloth.
2.D o not use wash powder,alkaline detergent,brush, gas, thin ner,alochol, coa l oil, acid and boiled water that may hurt the face or plastic items.
3.D o not use chemical wiper that may hurt the face or plastic items.
4.T he oiled plastics items is easy to get aged, wipe off the oil soon.
TRAY-ICE
- Distribute the cold water or beverage into the clean tray-ice and put them into the freezer.
- When getting the ice piece, just turn the ice tray but do not turn it up and down.
WARNING
1.The glass partition is movable and heavy.Children are not allowed to move it.
2.The unsteadiness of the appliance will cause noise.
3.The first start needs a long time of about 3 hours as the room temperature will fall to the setup temperature. The appliance will resume after shutdown.
4.For the foods or fluids that is absorbable, transferrable or odoriferous, please use a seamless container to store.

MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
Interior parts
Dismantle all shelfs, door frames, trays, covers and drawers and clean with a soft cloth that is soaked with water or medium detergent (for bowl or chopstick wash).If detergent is used, please clean with water first,then wipe with a piece of dry cloth.

Door gasket
If th e door gasket contacts the oil or sauce etc.,it will be impaired after a long time, especially for the gasket of the door up and down.Make sure to cleanthe gasket carefully. The r ecess shall be cleaned by the chopstick shrouded by cotton piece.When embed the gasket, fit four corners first and embed the gaskets section by section.
Defrost method
When the frost layer gets thick, it may impair the cooling effect. You may take out and pack the foods. Pull out the power plug and wipe off the water with soft cloth when the frost layer vanishes. Then connect to the power and restart the appliance to setup the temperature. Generally once or twice defrost is required per year.

1.Plug off the power first, then clean the freezer after defrost;
2.The best time to defrost is when the freezer is empty or half empty;
3.Do not use metal or sharp tools for defrost to prevent damage;
4.No electric heater is allowed for defrost;
Cleaning precautions
Pull out the plug from the socket before cleaning, the int erv al be twe en plug in and out shall be over 5 minutes;
No water is allowed in the lamp and PCB cover during c lea nin g;
Wipe with soft towel dipped over water or medium dete rge nt, t hen c lea n with dry cloth;
Do not use the detergent with abrasive(e.g. Toothpaste),acid,chemical solvent(e.g.alochol) or putty agent.

1.Super Cool key
1-1.If the appliance is not under the Super Cool state, pressi ng the "Supe r Cool"
key wil l energize the Super Cool light and bring the appliance t o the Super
Cool st ate;
1-2.Entering the Super Cool state, the compressor will sta rt working ;
1-3.There are two ways to cancel Super Cool:
1-3-1 .Press the "Super Cool" key to exit the Super Cool state;
1-3-2 .The appliance exits the Super Cool state automatic ally;
1-4.Exitting the Super Cool state will disable t he display o f "Super Coo l" ;

enabl e the change of the setup temperature in the cycle of 5 4 3

3.Freezer key
3-1.Press the "Freezer" key to display the freezer tempera ture. The "Frid ge" will
go off and the " Freezer" will light up. The display will show th e freezer te mpe-
ratur e.
Sever al seconds later, the display will indicate the refrig erator tem perature .
3-2 When the display indicates the freezer temperature, pr ess the"Fr eezer" key t o
exit th e freezer te mperature and enter the refrigerator temperature;
4.Trim function
4-1.Hold down the "Fridge" key for 5 seconds to enter the trim sta te;
4-2.Under the trim state, repressing the "Fridge" key will e nable the tr im operati on as per "- -" "01" "02" " 03"…… "07" " 08" "09" "-- ";
4-3.If no actions are input for 5 seconds under the trim state, th e applianc e will
retur n to the norma l work;
4-4.If the temperature setup is changed, it will exit the trim s tate;
4-5.When trimming the temperature, each press will trigg er a beep soun d;
4-6.Higher is the value, the setup temperature i s lower:
* Trim function is not recommended;
The foods shall be packed with the freshness reservation bag (film) or put in the sealed container to avoid air-dry or mix-odour.
Hot foods or beverages shall be cooled to the room temperature to save power consumption.
The cooked and raw foods shall be placed separately.
The foo ds shall be kept loo se to leave enough space for air cycle . Note: 1. Do not put the foods near the sensor.
2. The foo ds and co ntainers shall not lean against the back wall.
Store foods in smaller portions.
Better clean the washable foods,such as fruits and vegetables before storage.
The fruits and vegetables shall be stored in the vegetable compartment to reserve the water and freshness.
5.Opening alarm
5-1.When the refrigerator door is open for 2 minutes, an alarm w ill be heard ;
When it i s open for 3 minutes, two alarms will be heard; When the door is
open fo r more than 4 minutes, alarms in the cycle of 1 minute alarm and
2 minut es stop to rem ind the user of closing the door;
5-2.The alarm will stop when the refrigerator do or is closed ;

WARNING
The tropic fruits such as banana and pineapple are not suitable. Do not store the items that has strict storage standard, such as
blood serum, bacterin and academic materials. Recommendation: If you need a large quantity of foods to be stored, ice making or fast cooling, please take out the freezer drawer and freeze the foods directly on the evaporator partition.
