Mega Dynamic Contrast Ratio (3,000,000:1)
The unparalleled Mega Dynamic Contrast Ratio of
the Samsung Plasma TV Series 8 provides clarity
better then you ever thought possible. Our unique
technology analyzes the histogram of the input scene
in real time and controls the black level to maximize
clarity as the brightness level of the input scene
changes. That means the contrast ratio expands
more than a conventional plasma TV and can achieve
a maximum contrast ratio.
Ultra FilterBright Plus™
Samsung’s patented Ultra FilterBright technology
enables you to enjoy clear images in any lighting
condition. Super Black Panel absorbs external light
and reduces reflection for high picture clarity and
darker black expression. Our optimal Light Filter
further reduces the reflection to minimum levels and
eliminates the external light side effects.
Samsung Crystal Full HD Engine
Crystal Full HD Engine enhances picture detail and
clarity and reduces “noise” from lower resolution (SD)
images for the best image possible, regardless of
source.
Touch of Colour (ToC™) with Floating Glass
The beauty of nature lies in its ever-changing form,
colour, and light. New materials offer a never-seenbefore TV that captures the essence of natural
beauty through natural light, styles, and tones which
constantly appear to change with the viewing angle.
Wide Color Enhancer 3
Wide Color Enhancer 3 maps HD or SD signals to
the panel’s native colour space, covering 110 percent
of the HD specification, and resulting in exceptionally
vibrant, yet natural-looking images.
