MagicBright™ is a new feature providing optimum viewing environment
depending on the contents of the image you are watching. Currently
seven different modes are available: Custom, Text, Internet, Game,
Sports, Movie and Dynamic CR. Each mode has its own pre-configured
brightness value. You can easily select one of seven settings by simply
pressing MagicBright™ control button.
1) Custom
Although the values are carefully chosen by our engineers, the pre-
configured values may not be comfortable to your eyes depending on
your taste. If this is the case, adjust the brightness and contrast by
using the OSD menu.
2) Text
For documentations or works involving heavy text.
3) Internet
For working with a mixture of images such as texts and graphics.
4) Game
For watching motion pictures such as a game.
5) Sports
For watching motion pictures such as a Sports.
6) Movie
For watching motion pictures such as a DVD or Video CD.
7) Dynamic CR
Dynamic CR is to automatically detect distribution of inputted visual
signal and adjust to create optimum contrast.

The Monitor has four automatic picture settings ("Dynamic", "Standard",
"Movie" and "Custom") that are preset at the factory. You can activate
either Dynamic, Standard, Movie, or Custom. You can select "Custom"
which automatically recalls your personalized picture settings.
1) Dynamic
Select this mode to view a sharper image than in "Standard" mode.

2) Standard
Select this mode when the surroundings are bright. This also provides a
sharp image.
3) Movie
Select this mode when the surroundings are dark.
This will save power and reduce eye fatigue.
4) Custom
Select this mode when you want to adjust the image according to your
preferences.

Power indicatorThis will enable you to see the overall power status of the system. For more

when leaving it unattended for long periods.

Activates a highlighted menu item. /
Push the '', then selects the video signal while the OSD is off. (When
the button is pressed to change the input mode, a message appears
in the upper left of the screen displaying the current mode -- PC, DVI, AV,
S-Video, Component and HDMI input signal.)
Changing the source is only allowed for external devices that are
connected to the monitor at the time.

When the 'AUTO' button is pressed, the Auto Adjustment screen appears
as shown in the animated screen on the center. Auto adjustment allows
the monitor to self-adjust to the incoming video signal. The values of fine,
coarse and position are adjusted automatically.

In PC or DVI Mode, turns on Video screens in PIP Mode.
You can view a picture from AV, S-Video, or Component through the PIP
screen in PC and DVI mode.

: Switch the monitor on and off.

: Connect the power cord for your monitor to the POWER
port on the back of the monitor.
HDMI IN / DVI IN(HDCP) / RGB IN
HDMI IN
: Connect the HDMI IN terminal at the back of your monitor
to the HDMI terminal of your digital output device using a
HDMI cable.
DVI IN(HDCP)
: Connect the DVI cable to the DVI IN(HDCP) port
on the back of your monitor.
RGB IN
: Connect the RGB IN terminal at the back of your monitor to
your computer.

: External device (video) input terminal

: External device (S-video) input terminal
UDIO POWER (DC 12V )
: Connect the speaker power line connected to the speaker
to the AUDIO POWER terminal of the monitor.
UDIO OUT
: When connecting an external device to your monitor using
an HDMI cable, you must connect the AUDIO OUT terminal
of your monitor and the SPK terminal (yellowish green sound input terminal) of the dedicated speaker using a
stereo cable to hear audio from the HDMI screen.
USB connection terminal
UP (USB upstream port)
: Connect the UP port of the monitor and the USB port
of the computer with the USB cable.
DOWN (USB downstream port)
: Connect the DOWN port of the USB monitor and a
USB device with the USB cable.
To use DOWN (Downstream Port), you have to connect
the UP (Upstream Cable ) to the PC.
Make sure to use the USB cable supplied with this monitor to
connect the monitor's UP port and your computer's USB
port.
