not
to

the
AF/MF switch
on
a
lens.

Using
the
Lens
Using
the
Zoom
Ring
This function
is
available only when you use the zoom lens.
Rotate the zoom ring clockwise
to capture a
telephoto shot or counter-clockwise to
capture a wide shot. The focus ring is
located
in
front of the zoom lens and the zoom
ring
is
behind
it.
Set the composition of the photo (the focal distance of the lens)
by
turning the
zoom nng.

Cautions
when
using
a
flash
with
the
lens
Built-in
flash
When you use a
flash
in
situations where the distance from a subject and the camera
is
close,
the
flash light
is
partially blocked
by
the lens,
causing some parts of the photo
appear dark.
Check the distance between the camera and subjects when you capture photos.
Distance interrupted by the
flash light may vary depending on the type of
lens.
