Samsung HB460 Series high-performing displays include
many features hoteliers need, at a reasonable cost. The
modern, streamlined design of these displays contributes

Simplify information updates with intuitive
tools
LYNK™ REACH is a specialized solution for hospitality environments that provides a simplified UI and editing tool. This
tool organizes and displays content such as hotel information, images, logos and Electric Program Guides (EPGs)
using a coaxial infrastructure.
The REACH server provides a straightforward way to manage several hundred hospitality displays remotely. This
system helps reduce labor costs associated with updating
each display individually. The technology also helps reduce
total cost of ownership (TCO) because no set-top box (STB)
or Internet Protocol (IP) infrastructure is needed.
The REACH interface is designed to display content on
in-room screens and provide PC-based content management for hotel personnel. In-room screen content includes
hotel information and marketing messages for guests. The
interface helps content managers readily edit and manage
information. It includes an exclusive ticker function that enables hotels to display important marketing and advertising
messages. These messages, along with weather and tourism information can be effectively delivered and updated,
with supported interval settings.

Reinforce controllability over in-room displays
with Security Mode*
Samsung HB460 Series provides the unique and strong
hardware controllability with Security Mode. With this feature,
managers can disable the some critical functions of display
such as Teletext (TTX), HDMI port, USB port and so on. By
controlling H/W function with Security Mode, managers can
easily prevent changing display settings, watching noncompliant content with USB or transmitting unwanted Teletext
with signal. For the customer who requires high content
management level, this Security Mode can help their room in
complete control.
*Security Mode is only available for Europe models.
Improve the bottom line with energy-efficient
features
Samsung HB460 Series offers many features to help businesses save energy and reduce costs. The LED displays are
cost-effective because they use less energy, emit less carbon
dioxide (CO2) and require less maintenance than conventional
hospitality displays. Additionally, the displays are built with
fewer harmful materials than cold- cathode fluorescent lamps
(CCFLs), so manufacturing and recycling processes are more
efficient and environmentally friendly.
Reduce costs and improve security with
robust DRM technology
Samsung LYNK™ DRM technology provides hoteliers, facility managers and owners with a safeguarded and cost- effective alternative to traditional hardware-based content
protection systems. This technology allows encrypted content to pass safely and to display on hospitality screens.
A software-only implementation, Samsung LYNK™ DRM
technology provides quicker recovery for Conditional Access System (CAS) problems. Enhanced functions include
a support video on demand (VoD) system. To help ensure
reliability, the technology also supports additions to cable
head-end equipment.
Dedicate the remote controller for up to 10
different groups of displays
Samsung Hospitality Displays provides the Multi-code remote
controller which can be dedicated to a specific group of
displays. Manager can group up to 10 groups and dedicate
the remote controller to one specific group. Once the remote
controller is dedicated one group, it will affects only to the
displays of the same group. In the place where lots of displays
shows different channel such as gym, this feature minimize
the entanglement of the remote controller signal and provides
comfortable and personalized service to the guest.
