Misuse may potentially cause electric shock or damage to the charger or serious injury to the user.
Operation Instructions
1 Insert AA Ni-MH rechargeable batteries(supplied with the DVD player) in the battery slots. Align the poles
(+) and (-) correctly.
2 Fold open the pins to the right angle position and then plug the charger into the household AC electric
outlet. The red LED will light up for proper charging.
3 LED indicators turn green after full charge. Please remove the charger from the power source and the
batteries from the charger when charging is completed.

Battery Charging Caution
• Please use this charger only for batteries of the exact same type(Ni-MH rechargeable batteries) as provided
with this player.
• When you charge the batteries for the first time, or if the batteries have been stored for a long time, it
normally takes about 3 charge and discharge cycles for the batteries to regain full capacity.
• It is normal for the charger and batteries to generate heat while charging. The temperature gets lower after a
full charge is completed.
• Make sure the power plug is completely inserted into a standard power outlet.
• Charge the batteries indoors in a cool and dry place.
• Always keep the positive and negative of charger clean to prevent bad contact between charger and battery.
• LED indicators won’t light up when the battery voltage is too low. When this occurs, it will take longer to
charge the batteries.
• When LED indicators flash red, it means there is battery trouble.
Possible reasons are:
a : The wrong battery type is inserted, such as alkaline battery.
b : The battery may be old or defective.
Please remove the charger from the power outlet and remove the wrong battery from the charger.
