3-2-1 Thermostat
OFF :
When room temperature is lowered by the air
conditioner, the gas within the thermostat will
contract and cause a break in the electrical
contact. The compressor will then stop.
After the compressor stops, the room
temperature will rise.
ON :
As the room temperature increases to a
selected level, the gas within the thermostat
expands causing electrical contact, which
provides the source of electric power to the
compressor. The room temperature will fall
and the cycle will repeat.
