PREPARATION

Your personal alarm requires one 12-volt
battery (not supplied) for power. For the
best performance and longest life, we rec­ommend an alkaline battery, such as Ra­dioShack Cat. No. 23-144.

Caution:

required size and recommended type.

The personal alarm’s battery compart­ment is concealed beneath the photo and
its transparent protective cover. Open the
alarm’s case and slide off the protective
cover and the paper picture behind it.

Then follow these steps to install the bat­tery.

1. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove
the screw from the battery compart­ment cover, then remove the cover.
