Arrival Sensor
Meet your Arrival Sensor
The Arrival Sensor lets you stay connected to people, pets,
and cars by sending you a push notification when they arrive
and leave home.
How to connect an Arrival Sensor
Select “Connect New Device” in the free SmartThings
mobile app and then remove the “Remove to pair” tab found
in the Arrival Sensor.

Installation Tips
The Arrival Sensor works best if it’s within 15 feet (4.5
meters) of the SmartThings Hub when you connect it.
If your device doesn’t connect
If your device doesn’t connect in the SmartThings app when
you remove the pull-tab, hold the “Connect” button for six
seconds or until the LED light turns off. Then select “Connect
New Device” in the SmartThings app and press and quickly
release the “Connect” button.

Using the Arrival Sensor:
You can place the SmartThings Arrival Sensor in a child’s
bag, in a car, or around a pet’s collar and it will send you a
notification when people, pets, and cars arrive or leave your
home.
Using the Arrival Sensor:
If you place the Arrival Sensor on a keychain, it can emit a
beeping noise to help you find where you left your keys in
the house.

One (1) Year Limited Warr anty
SmartThings, Inc. warrants this product (the “Product”) a gainst defects in
materials and/or workma nship under normal use for a period of ONE (1)
YEAR from the date of purchase by the original purchaser (“Warranty
Period”). If a defect arises and a valid cla im is received within the Warranty
Period, then as your sole remedy (and SmartThings’ sole liability),
SmartThings w ill at its option either 1) repair the defect at no charge, using
new or refurbished replac ement parts, or 2) replace the Product with a new
product that is functionally equivalent to the original, in each case wi thin 30
days following receipt of the returned Product. A replacement product or part,
assumes the remaining war ranty of the original Product. When a Product or
part is exchanged, any replaceme nt item becomes your property and the
replaced Product or part becomes SmartThings’ property.
Obtaining Ser vice: To obtain warranty ser vice, visit support.s mart things.com
to speak with a ser vice agent or ope n a service request. Please be prepared
to describe the Product that needs se rvic e and the nature of the problem. A
purchase receipt is required. The Product must be insured, and shipped
freight prepaid and securely packaged. You must contact support for a
Return Material Authorization Number (“RMA Number”) before shipping any
Product, and include the RMA Number, a copy of your purchase receipt and
a description of the proble m you are experien cing with the Prod uct. Any claim
under this Limite d Warranty must be submit ted to SmartThings before the
end of the Warranty Period.
Exclusions: This warranty does not apply to: a) damage c aused by failure to
follow instructions relating to the Product ’s use or the installation of
components; b) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, transp ort,
neglect, fire, floods, earthquake or othe r external causes; c) damage c aused
by serv ice performe d by anyone who is not an authorized rep resentative of
SmartThings; d ) accessories used in conjunction with a covered Product; e) a
Product or part t hat has be en modified to alte r functionalit y or capabilit y; f)
items inte nded to be p eriodically replaced by the purchaser du ring the
normal life of the Product, in cluding, without limitation, batterie s, bulbs or
cables; g) a Product that is used commercially or for a commercial purpose,
in each case as deter mined by SmartT hings.
EXCEPT FOR BODILY INJURY, SMARTTH INGS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE
FOR (I) ANY LOST PROFITS, COST OF PRO CUREMENT OF SUBSTIT UTE
PRODUCTS, OR AN Y INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIA L DAMAGES, OR
(II) AN Y AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF THE PURCH ASE PRICE FOR THE
PRODUCT, IN EACH CASE WHETHER RESULTING FROM THE USE OF OR
INABILIT Y TO USE THIS PRODU CT, OR ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH
OF THIS WA RRANTY, EVEN IF COMPANY HAS BEEN ADVI SED OF THE
