When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
Close supervision is necessary when Mixer is used near children.
This appliance is not for use by children.
Do not leave Mixer unattended.
Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking
off parts and before cleaning.
Do not contact moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from beaters or dough hooks during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons, and/or damage to the Mixer.
Do not operate a damaged Mixer. Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug or after the Mixer malfunctions, or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact Consumer Service for return authorization, examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
To protect against the risk of electrical shock do not immerse body of Mixer, cord or plug in water or other liquid. See instructions for cleaning.
The use attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
Do not use outdoors or while standing in a damp area.
Do not use Mixer for other than intended use.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot
surfaces, including the stove.
Remove beaters or dough hooks from Mixer before washing them.
Do not place Mixer on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven.

CAUTION: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the
risk of personal injury resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords are available from local hardware stores and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is required, special care and caution is necessary. The cord must also be: (1) marked with an electrical rating of 125 V. and at least 10 A., 1250 W., and (2) arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over accidentally.
POLARIZED PLUG: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
This product is for household use only.

Mixing Guide
Use the chart to help you determine the proper speed control setting and speed switch setting for mixing.
Best for mixing dry ingredients and folding in liquid ingredients, egg whites and whipped cream.
Ideal for creaming, stirring, making sauces, gravies, puddings and quick breads.
All purpose mixing. All purpose mixing. Beats and creams butter and sugar for cake mixes
and frostings. Great for thicker batters. Best for whipping cream, beating egg whites or
mashing potatoes.

NOTE: Be sure speed control lever is in the OFF position before changing speed switch from LO to HI or from HI to LO.

Before Using Your 10-Speed Mixer For The First Time
Please fill out information that follows warranty.
Before using the Mixer for the first time, wash beaters and dough
hooks in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly, see Cleaning Instructions.
Burst-of-Power
The Burst-of-Power provides maximum power to get through tough mixing tasks at any speed. Press the burst of power button to obtain maximum mixing speed anytime an extra boost of power is needed for thick, heavy batters. Release the button and the mixing returns to the previously selected speed.
CAUTION: Do not use the burst of power in excess of 2 minutes at a time, as the motor may overheat.
Beaters and Dough Hooks
Use these chrome plated beaters to cut through thick or thin batters with ease. They are perfect for all-purpose mixing.
1. Position speed control lever to OFF.
2. Unplug from outlet.
3. Choose either the set of beaters or the set of dough hooks.
4. Press the beater /dough hook with the collar into the left opening (marked L on the bottom of Mixer). Align notches on the beater/dough hook with the slots inside the hole. Push until it clicks into position. Insert the other beater/dough hook.
5. Plug into 120 V ~ 60 Hz outlet.
6. Make sure the Mixer is OFF. Slide the speed switch to LO or HI. Slide the speed control lever up to 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 speed.
NOTE: Be sure to turn Mixer OFF before sliding speed switch from LO to HI or vice-versa.
7. To remove beaters or dough hooks, turn speed control lever to OFF and unplug from outlet. Grasp stems of beaters/dough hooks and press down firmly on the speed control lever to eject.
User Maintenance Instructions
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself. Contact a qualified appliance repair technician if the product requires servicing.
Cleaning Instructions
CAUTION: UNPLUG APPLIANCE BEFORE CLEANING.
NEVER PLACE BODY OF MIXER OR CORD IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS.
1. Position speed control lever to OFF.
2. Unplug from outlet.
3. Grasp stems of beaters or dough hooks and press down firmly on the speed control lever to eject.
4. Wash, rinse and dry beaters and dough hooks by hand after each use.
5. Wipe body of Mixer and storage caddy with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners to clean any part.
