The mobile phone is particularly designed for
GSM/GPRS networks environment. In addition to the

include name card style phone book, clock/ alarm,
calculator, games, a udio player, sound recorder and so

1.2 Safety information
If your mobile phone is lost or stolen, inform
immediately the telecom branch or its outlet to forbid
the use of your mobile phone and SIM ca rd, which will
help you to avoid th e economic loss ca used by other ’s
misuse of your mobile phone.
When you get contact with telecom branch or its
outlet, they need to know the IMEI number of your
mobile phone, which is marked on the tab on the back
of your mobile phone (you can find it with battery taken
out). Keep the number for future use.
Please take precautionary measure to avoid
abuse of your mobile phone. Such as:
- Set t he PIN number of the SIM card, and modify
it if others know.
- When you leave your car, please do not put the
mobile phone in a place easy to be seen. Better take it
with you or put it in trunk.
- Set call restriction.

1.3.1 General guideline
Only use the approved battery and charger. Other
products may lead to leaking, over heat, explosion, and

Do not place mobile phone, battery , or charger in the
microwave oven or high pressu re equipment. Doing so

potentially explosive or flammable atmosphere. Using
mobile phone in such area could cause a fire or
explosion.
Do not keep mobile phone in hot, humid, or dusty
areas, as its moving parts may be damaged.
Keep your mobile phone out of the reach of children.
Do not let children play with mobile phone to avoid
accident injury.
Do not leave mobile phone on unstable or uneven
place. Such condition may result in mobile phone
falling.
1.3.2 Mobile phone guideline
Switch off your mobile phone before boarding an
aircraft or in hospital and any other facility where
posted notices require you to do so. Mobile phone
effects the electronic equipments and medication
equipments. The mobile phone has auto switch on
function, please check your alarm setting and make
sure the mobile phone will not switch on automatically
during the flight.
Certain electronic equipment may not be shielded
against the RF signals from your wireless phone, such
as hearing aid, pacemakers, other medical devices, fire
sensor, auto gate, and others. For the satisfactory
operation of the equipment and for the safety of

sales outlet to discuss alternatives.
Do not put hard pressure or hit on the screen.

1.3.3 Batteries guideline
Please keep mobile phone away from fire. Fire will
damage the batteries and lead to explosion.

During changing batt eries, hard pressure will cause
the batteries leaking, over heated, explosion and
caught fire.
Do not short-circuit the battery. Accidental short
circuiting can occur when a metallic object (wire line,
clip) or necklace connect two terminals. Short circuit
may damage the battery.
Please do not weld the battery’s terminal. Welding
the battery will damage it.
The battery liquid is dangerous to human eyes.
Please wash eyes with water immediately and go to
hospital for further exam if the liquid is in eyes.
Do not modify or dismantle the battery.
Unauthorized modify or dismantle will result in
damaging the mobile battery.
Do not place batt eries in or on the microwave oven
or over heated places. That may damage the battery .
During charging, using or storing, if batteries
temperature rise, color change, or deformed, please
stop using and replace with new battery.
If the battery liquid is leaking or smelly, please
remove it from phone to avoid explosion.
Please keep battery away from humidity. Humidity
will cause over heat, corrosion of the batteries.
Please do not leave the battery in hot places such
as in a car in summer as you will reduce the capacity
and life time of the ba ttery.
Please do not leave the battery on charger for over
24 hours
1.3.4 Charger & accessories
Please control the charger output voltage below
6.8V to avoid the vol tage being too high to dama ge the
phone.

Please charge with dedicated voltage. Using
mismatched power will damage the mobile phone and
charger.
Short circuit charger is forbidden. It will cause
electric shock and damage the charger.
If the power line is damaged, please do not use the
charger.
Please keep the charger free from dust all the time.
Keep charger away from liquid. Spilled liquid will
dangerous the charger.
If charger has close contact wi th liquid, take off the
charger from socket immediately to prevent further
damage.
Do not modify or dismantle the charger.

Please do not charge in humidity place. Humidity
will cause over heat, corrosion of the batteries.
Do not touch the charger, power line or socket with

Do not store heavy article on top of power line or

Unplug the charger from socket before cleaning an d

Take the terminal to unplug the charger. Pulling the
power line to unplug will damage the charger and

1.3.5 Cleaning & maintenance
Mobile phone, batteries, and charger are not water
proof. Please do not use them in humidity place such
as shower room. Avoiding spilled by rain.
Clean mobile phone, batteries, and charger with soft

strong detergents to clean the mobile phone.

off the LCD screen. Hold it to turn on or off the phone.
OK key

Navigation key
In idle mode, press Up/Down/ Left/Right key access
to the corresponding application, You can set the

Flashlight
In Idle mode, Long p ress 0 key open or close.
2.1.2 Using T-Flash Card
You can use T-Flash card to enlarge your phone’s
memory capacity.
Attention:
Frequent erasing an d writing will shorten a memory
card’s lifespan.
Do not remove a memory card from the phone or
turn off the phone while data is being accessed or
transferred. This could result in loss of data and/or
damage to the card or phone.
Do not subject memory cards to strong shocks.
Do not touch memory card terminals with your

fingers or metal objects. If dirty, wipe the card with a
soft cloth.
Keep memory cards away from small children or
pets.
Do not expose memory cards in a place subject to
electro static discharge and/or electrical noise.
2.2 Batteries
Batt er ie s ha ve b een cha r ge d to 5 0% fu l l. It ca n be u se d
after unpack. The first three times batteries must be
totally discharged before charging. It will help to
prolong the batteries lifespan and working quality.
2.2.1 Changing a battery
Please follow the steps to remove the battery:
Push the back cover backward.
Lift the battery up to remove it.
Please follow the steps to install a battery:
Place the top part of the battery to connect with
grooves on the phone.
Push the battery do wnward till it clicks into place.

2.2.2 Charging a battery
Plug the charger into the socket.
Connect the adapter into the phone.
Battery charging indicator sign will flash; if mobile
phone is switch off during charging, the indicator sign
will show on the scr een. If the battery is too weak, the
charging indicator sign will not show immediately after
the charger plugs in.
When charging indicator sign shows the battery is
full and stop flashing, charging is finished. If charge
when switch off, the screen shows charging finished.

The charging will last for a few hour s. It is normal that
the battery, mobile phone, and charger’s temperature
rise. Disconnect the mobile phon e, c harg er, and socket
after charging finish.
Attention:
Please always charge the battery at place
temperature between 5~40 (5

C~40oC). Use only
the supplied charger. Unauthorized charger may
damage the phone and violate regulation and
guarantee.
When mobile phone switch off due to out of power
or the indicator sign shows run low batter y, charge the
battery in time. Battery charging time depends on the
remaining battery charge.
The stand by time and call time of this mobile phone
is tested in an idealistic environment. In reality it is
greatly affected by the signal strength of the cellular
network, working environment and other factors.
Do not remove the battery during charging. Please
make sure the battery is in place before charging.
When charging is finished, unplug the ad apter from
the power outlet and from the phone.
If you do not unplug the adapter from the power
outlet and from the phone, after 5 to 8 hours, the phone
will start charging again due to the failure of battery
power. We strongly suggest no to d o so. It will shorten
the lifespan of batteries.
2.3 Connecting network
2.3.1 SIM card
Please insert the SIM card before switch on the
mobile phone. SIM card is the key to GSM network.
When you subscribe to a cellular network, the

plug-in SIM card loaded with our subscription details
such as your call history, call record, messages, and
others. SIM card can be rem oved and in serted into any
GSM mobile phone ( new mobile phone can read SIM
card simultaneously)
The plug-in SIM card and its contacts can be easily
damaged by scratches or bending, please keep SIM
card away from electric, magnetic objects. Once the
SIM card is damaged, it will loss the accessibility to
GSM network.
Warning: Switch off the mobile phone before remove
the SIM card. It is forbidden to remove the SIM card
when the power resource is connected.
2.3.2 Insert and remove SIM card

2.3.3 Power on or off
Press and hold the POWER button for about 3 seconds
to turn on or off the phone.
2.3.4 Unlock the SIM card
To eliminate unauthorized usage, SIM card can be
locked by adding PIN number. Once select this function,
PIN must be inputted every time the mobile is switch on.
If user does not set SIM card protection method, SIM
card can not be protected from unauthorized usage.
Press End key to switch on.
Input PIN number, use Right soft key to erase wrong
input. Press OK key to finish. For example, if PIN is
1234, then please input 1234.
If wrong input for 3 times, the SIM card will be locked by
the network. It requests PUK1 number, if you do not
know PUK1 number, please do not input yourself. Give
the SIM card to cellu lar network service to deal. De tai l
information please refer Security setting
Attention: The network supplier will set a standard PIN
(between 4 to 8 digits) for your SIM card. Please
change it to your per sonal pass word. For detail please
see Security setting
2.3.5 Unlock the mobile phone
Please set phone password to protect your mobile
phone from unauthorized usage. Once select this
function, phone password must be inputted every tim e
the mobile is switch on. If user does not set phone
password protection method, th e mobile phone can not
be protected from unauthorized usage

key to erase wrong input. Press OK key to finish. For
example, if the password is 0000, then please input
0000.
If you forget the mobile phone password please
contact the local sales branch or service centre to
unlock the mobile phone. (Default mobile phone
password is 0000)
2.3.6 Connecting to the network
After the SIM card is unlocked, the mobile phone
searches for network service. Once connected, the
cellular service provider will show on the centre of the
screen. The mobile phone is at idle stage and can
make or receive a call.
Attention: If ONLY EMERGENCY shows on the screen,
it means you are not in the service area of the networ k
only the EMERGENCY call can be connected.
3 Basic functions
3.1 Making a call
When cellular network service provider shows on the
screen, you can receive or make a call through network.
The received signal strength is shown on the up left
corner of the screen (maximum 4 lines—best signal
condition).
The quality of network connection is affected by the
environment. Moving within small scale can improve
the network connection quality.
To make a call, enter the phone numbe r, including the
area code, and press the Send key to dial with different
SIM card.
Tips: For informational calls, add the + character that
replaces the international access code, and enter the
country code, area code (omit the leading 0, if

necessary), and phone number.
To make a call using the saved contacts, press Right
Soft key in idle mode. Select the contact and press
Send key to dial with different SIM card.
3.2 Answering a call
To answer a call, press the Send key.
To reject a call, press the End key.
If the answer mode of any key is turned on in current
user profile, you can press any key to answer it (except
End key and Right soft key). If the ear phone is
connected, you can answer a call though ear pho ne. If
the answer mode of auto is turned on in Headset
profile, the phone will answer the call automatically
after 5 seconds.
3.3 Emergency call
If the cellular networ k service does not c over that area,
ONLY EMERGENCY shows on the screen. That means
you are not in the service area of the net work only the
EMERGENCY call can be connected. If you are in area
covered by network service, the Emergency call can be
made without inserting SIM card.
3.4 Options during a call
During the call, you c an press Right soft key to switch
on/off loudspeaker . Press OK key into dial-up interface,
Press Left soft key access to option menu. The option
menu is similar with Function menu. It i s only possible
to get into option menu during a call. The functions
such as on hold, forward or making a multiparty call
need network support. Please contact your network
service provider for detail.

4 Input Method
Keypad definition
Navigation key (up, down, right and left keys):
Generally using for moving cursor or selecting
characters.
# key: pressing “# ” key will alter different input
methods, with corresponding input method icon at the
left side of Icon zone Digit key (2-9) In English input
status; these keys indicate letters on each key;
* Key: press * key to activate punctuation marks and
character input method.
5 Function Menu
5.1 Phonebook
You can store the name and telephone number in the
phone memory or the SIM card.
5.1.1 Contact list
The contact list is arranged in alphabetical order. You
have the following options: View, Call, IP call, Send,
New, Delete, Delete all ,Mark, Copy to SIM card/phone,
Copy to SIM card/phone, Assign to group, vCard, and
Memory Details.
View: View the con tact information.
Call: Dial the current number
Send: Send SMS or MMS to the number.
New: Create a new contact.
Delete: Delete selected entry
Mark: Activate Mark/Unmark mode to mark the
selected contact for further operation.
Copy to SIM/phone: Copy the selected entry to SIM
card or phone.

Assign to Group: Contacts saved on the phone can be
assigned to some specific groups or Blacklists.
Groups: You can add and choose the group you need.
You can set the ring tones, cartoon icons and members
of each group.
Blacklist: Open th e black list and add phone nu mbers.
You ca n list p hone numbers or contacts that you do not
want to receive into the black list which shall
automatically reject them. It is provided with high
configurability and is simple for operation.
vCard: Send, Import or export by vCard format.
Memory Details: Display the storage status.
5.1.2 Contact
From the contact list you can select a contact and do
the following: Call, Send, Edit, Delete, Set picture, set
ringtone, assign to group.
Edit: Edit the contact details
Set picture: Set up a snapshot for the contact
Set ringtone: Assign an individual ring tone to the
contact

5.2 Messages
This section will introduce how to use the SMS and
MMS functions in the phone.
5.2.1 Text Message
This device can send and recei ve a number of normal
text messages. Short message is a network service.
SMS center number of the corresponding network
operator is required to use the ser vice. The storage of
short messages depends on the storage space in the
SIM card and the phone memory. The screen will
display the amount and indication signal when new

message is received.

One SMS contains of 160 char acters. According to th e
keyboard input character, and then put up the following

Add recipient: Enter the telephone number or find
the number in Contacts, and send to the receiving user.

Convert to MMS: You can switch to MMS mode
Send options: Enter text messages, to service
center set up the page number, send mode, date of
expiry, message format, S tatus report, reply directly to
Settings.

Add recipient: Write a message, Edit Recipients,

Insert: You can insert pictures, video, audio,
templates, vcard, and VCalendar.
Insert Slide: You can choose to insert the location

Read or view the received short messages in SIM card

The function of this option is to save the setting
information. The saved information comes from the
saved information of new information and the
information of the in-box.
5.2.4 Draft box
You can write text messages stored in the feature box.
5.2.5 Outbox
Not send out text messages
5.2.6 Templates
This feature has many day- to-day phrases to help you
increase the speed o f editing mes sages. And press the
OK key to confirm. The selected phase will
automatically enter the editing interface. The sending
method sees "Writing Messages".
5.2.7 Cell broadcast
Open or close the receiving mode, rea d messages, set
up channels and cho ose languages.
5.2.8 Voice Mail
This function needs your network operators to
provide service for use. You can set up accessing
number.

5.3 Call history
Call history function logs all recent calls including
missed calls, dialed calls and answered calls. Options
are:
♦ View: View the call log
♦ Call: Dial the selected number
♦ Send: Send SMS or MMS to the selected number.
♦ Save: Save the selected number to SIM or phone.
♦ Delete: Delete selected entry
♦ Delete all: Delete all entries, all entries of Card 1 o r
all entries of Card 2
♦ Call timer: Last Call, Received calls, Dialed calls,
Reset (phone password is required)

♦ Call cost: Calculate the call cost according to the call

5.4 Profiles
Six Profiles are available: General Mode, Meeting
Mode, Outdoor Mode, Silent Mode, Personal Mode,
and Headset Mode. You can select any of these
Profiles or customize your own profile by adjusting the
parameters of the Profile. Restore to default settings by
using the Restore option.
5.5 Settings
Enter Settings form the Main Menu. There are General,
Phone and Connection Settings.
Note: If only one SI M card is installed, your phone will
automatically hide the dual card related settings.
5.5.1 Personalization
Personal settings include Display, Standby mode,
ringtone settings and Display language.
5.5.2 Time / date
You can set the time, Time zone, Time format, date,
date format.
5.5.3 Profiles
Six Profiles are available: General Mode, Meeting
Mode, Outdoor Mode, Silent Mode, Personal Mode,
and Headset Mode. You can select any of these
Profiles or customize your own profile by adjusting the
parameters of the Profile. Restore to default settings by
using the Restore option.
5.5.4 Power on/off
You can set the time and condition for the phone to
automatically power on/off itself.

5.5.5 Information
You can look up your phone IMEI, Memory details,
Software version in this menu.
5.5.6 Security
You can set Phone lock, SIM lock, and Auto keypad
lock here.
SIM1/SIM2 Pin code: Change PIN1 and PIN2
passwords. You nee d to have the default Pin numbers
from the network carrier.
Phone lock: Turn the phone lock on/off and edit your
phone password. The default is 0000.
SIM lock: Allow you to check the SIM card lock status
and change password.
Auto keypad lock: You can lock your phone manually,
or select auto lock for the phone to lock i ts screen and
keypad automatically after some idle time in the
Standby mode.
5.5.7 Restore settings
Restore you phone to the factory or default settings
through this option. You need to input your phone
password (default is 0000) for this operation.
All data will be deleted when y our phone is restored to
its factory settings.

You can turn the call waiting on/off and look up the
current status. When the call waiting is turned off and
your phone is busy , all other incoming calls will hear the
busy ring tone.

5.6.2 Call divert
Set the divert metho ds for the following different types
of calls: all, voicemail, data, fax. The divert methods are:
divert all, when busy, when no answer, when no service,
when power-off, cancel all divert.
5.6.3 Call barring
Set the block methods for the following different types
of calls: all, voicemail, data, fax and SMS. Block options
are: all outgoing, international outgoing, international
outgoing while abroad, all incoming, incoming while
abroad, cancel all barring, change password, This
feature is currently not available in India.
5.6.4 Connection
You can set data accounts, WAP settings and MMS
settings.
5.7 Media tools
5.7.1 Camera
Before using Camera, make sure you have inserted a
memory card. The photos will be saved in to your
memory card.
Note:
¾Taking pictures in dim lighting may result in poor
picture quality.
After entering the Camera, the Camera Preview screen
will appear with the status icons.

5.7.2 Camcorder
Before using Camcorder, make sure you have inserted
a memory card. The video will be saved in to your
memory card.
Your mobile phone supports video recorder function,
select Video Recorder to get into menu.
Press Left soft key access the following options: Video size: CIF (352x288), QVGA (320 x 240),

5.7.3 Music
Upon entering the Music Player, Playlist will be
displayed. Through All Music you can look up all the
music files. Other Options are: View, New playlist,

Repeat, Shuffle, Equalizer, lyric and Song info.
After you have selected music from the Playlist, you will
enter the Music Play er screen and you ca n look up th e
album, name of the song, artist, play time, item number ,
etc.
5.7.4 Video player
Enter the Video Player and the Video file list is
displayed
You can also use the following operations through the
Options Menu: Stop, Full Screen, Rename, Delete,
Details of the content.
5.7.5 King Movie
You can use this function watching movies.
You can land“http://www.kmv001.com ”or
“http://3g.91q.com”web site, Download films (Among
them http://3g.91q.com can switch in to E n glish). Add in
File manager King Movie files, into the King Movie
update directory, can see the File and played.
5.7.6 Photo viewer
Select Image Viewer to open the album and look the
photos.
Press Left soft key access the following options:
z View: Pr eview the selected image.
z Set as: Set as Wallpaper, Contact picture and
screen saver.
z Send: Send by MMS or Bluetooth.
z Rename: Rename the selected image.
z Delete: Delete the selected image.
z Mark: Mark the selected image or all images.
z Slideshow: Display by slideshow.

5.7.7 FM radio
You can receive and listen to FM ra dio here.
Please make sure the headset, which is used as the
antenna, is plugged in before using the FM radio.
Functions are also available via the Options menu:
z Radio off (on): Turn the FM radio off/on.
z My channel: Edit My channel. You can set up to 20
favorite channels.
zAdd to my channel: Add current channel to My
channel.
z Search channel: Auto search, Manual input.
z Settings:Set Background play, speaker, record
format, storage.
5.7.8 Voice memo
Use this menu to record voice memos.
Press Left soft key to access the following options:
Record: record a new voice memo.
List: show the voice memo list. Select a file and
press Left soft key access the following options:
z Play: play the voice memo.
z Set as: set the memo as ringtone to Incoming call,
Contact, Alarm.
z Send: send it via MMS or Bluetooth.
z Rename: change the name of voice memo.
z Delete: delete the voice memo.
z Delete all files: delete all the voice memos.

5.7.9 File manager
Manage the files saved in phone and memory card.
Select a folder then press Left soft key access options,
the options will be different in different kinds of folder.
5.8 Games
Classic pushed box game, up, down, left and right the

5.9 Organizer
5.9.1 Calendar
The Calendar feature enables you to keep track of your
schedule and tasks.
When you access the Calendar menu, t he calendar in
Month view appears with today’s date indicated
highlight.
View: view the detail of the task.
New event: The editor will be displayed. You can add
an appointment or an all-day event. Available input
fields are: Subject, Location, Start date, Start time, End
date, End time, alarm, and description. The display and
reminder will be executed according to your setting.
Monthly/Weekly View: Weekly or monthly
Event list: List the events of the selected month. You
may edit, delete or send the event.
Go to date: Go to a particular date directly
Setting: Set the preset view mode, the start day of a
week
Delete all: You can delete all the events prior to a
certain date, or delete all events
Search event: Search event by inputting the keyword
Memory details: You can look up the total number of

event entries and free space.
5.9.2 Alarm
Use this menu to set alarms to sound at a specific time.
A wake-up alarm is not affected by your sound setting.
Six alarm clocks can be set: select an alarm clock to
edit and set.
5.9.3 Calculator
Use this menu to perform basic arithmetic functions
such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and
division.
Attention: the calculator ’s precision is limited and may
have deviation especially in dividing.
5.9.4 Stopwatch
Stopwatch provides 20 sets of entries with both total
and lap timer functions.
5.9.5 Timer
Countdown timer is provided.
5.9.6 Bluetooth
You may do functions for your Bluetooth settings such
as: Turn on/off, Paired devices, Search devices,
Settings
5.9.7 World clock
World clock is provided with a world map
5.9.8 Shortcuts
You can set shortcuts for quick operations.
6 Services
The mobile phone supports functions based on WAP.
You can visit the services that are supported by your
network service provider. Such services can serve you
with news, weather forecast, flight information and
others.
