GENERAL INFORMATION
The 8839-433 key transmitters are portable wireless transmitters for use onl y with wireless alarm systems that sup port DSC wireless receivers
(ex. DSC hardwired panel s, 9047, & 9057). The 88 39-4 33 i s re plac emen t remote of DSC W S4939
B utt ons are typically used for ar ming a nd d isarmi ng, but ca n b e programmed for any appropriate zo ne respo nse.
A but ton must be pres sed and held unt il the LED be gins to flash to activate a button function. This press and hold feature
minimizes the possibility of a ccidental transmissions.
The fac tor y-i nstall ed repl ace abl e lithi um batt ery pr ovi des pow er for up to five (5) years.
Button Features
Buttom 1: Stay Arming
Press this button to arm your system in the Stay mode. All perimeter zones will be armed, such as all window and door contacts,but the interior zones will remain inactive, allowing you to stay on the premises without setting off an alarm.
Buttom 2: Away Arming
Press this button to arm your system in the Away mode. Both the interior and exterior zones will be armed, allowing you to exit the premises. Buttom 3: Disarm
Press this button to disarm your system. You do not have to enter your access code when you use the key to disarm the system. Buttom 4: Panic
Press this button to notify your central monitoring station of a situation requiring the police, such as a break-in.

programming , note the foll owing:
Each 8839-433 transmitter has one unique serial numbers assigned during manufacture.
Programmi ng for 9057 panels:
8 - 5555 - 898 / Learn sensor / Press any key on the remote / Once learned, press
Then you w ill see Key 1(If the remote is the 2nd remote, you need to Then press * * then ## to get out of programming. Need to set up following if the remote still not recognized : 015 – 12345 / 016 – 2568
REPLACING THE BATTERY
The LED will not flas h during battery as follows.
1. Remov e the ca se back.
2. Ins ert t he blade of a sm al l s crewdriver under batt ery as s hown to open the case .
3. With the Positive (+) end of a new battery facing Up & insert the battery as shown, t hen pres sing do wn to sn ap i nto place.
IMPORTANT:
Positive (+) end must face up. Use Maxell CR2032, Duracell DL2032
