FUTURE REFERENCE
Please read the instructions thoroughly, failure to do so may result in damage to the gate or could in worst
case cause injury to your child. When unpacking the gate, carefully check all parts.
WARNING
This gate is designed and tested for children up to 24 months. However, this guidance should be constantly monitored against
your child’s own development.
Individual children’s skills develop at different ages and if your child can operate or climb the gate, it should not be used.
• Incorrect fitting or positioning of this safety barrier can be dangerous.
• Do not use the safety barrier if any components are damaged or missing.
• The safety barrier must not be fitted across windows.
• This safety gate is for domestic use only.
• Stop using the barrier if the child is capable of climbing it.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
• Gate extends from 68-106 cm.
• When mounting across the face of an opening it will cover aperatures much smaller than 68 cm.
• It can be fitted internally to door frames and architraves, across the top or bottom of stairs and at various angles across
openings.
• Ensure that the wall, door frame or stair post to which you are fitting the gate, is strong and rigid, free of dirt and grease. If
mounting onto brick, drywall or other surfaces, it may be necessary to mount a wooden batten onto the wall first.
• The screws provided are for wood only. If mounting into brick, or plasterboard, the correct fixings and screws should be
obtained.
• Keep these instructions and the spanner for future reference and use.
• This gate has a manual locking mechanism. It should always be closed correctly after use.
• When fitted as per these instructions this gate conforms to: EN1930:2011
Please note the following:
• The position of the safety barrier in relation to the stairs may have an adverse effect on your child’s safety.
• If the gate has been exposed to an accident it must not be used again.
• Please note that this product will not necessarily prevent accidents from happening.
• Never leave your child unattended.
• Once the gate is installed, read the instructions again and check the gate is correctly fitted and secure.
• If the gate is damaged, it must not be used again.
• Do not hang or tie toys to any part of this gate.
• Never allow your children to swing on the gate.
• Only use original spare parts for this product.
• Never climb the gate, always open it.
• After use keep the gate closed and secured.
• Periodically check the security of the fixings and the general condition of the parts. Adjust if necessary,
User Guide.
• Do not allow older children to climb the gate as this may pose a danger.
• Wipe clean with a cloth damped in a mild cleaner.

INSTALLATION OF THE GATE
ATTENTION: When fitting the gate on top of stairs, the safety gate should never be opened
over the stairs as this can lead to hazardous situations. Always open the gate away from the
stairs. See step 5.
Step 1
Place the gate sections (a) and (b) next to each other with no gap between the gate bars. See Pict.
1 and 2.
Slide the sections apart until the distance between the outermost gate vertical bar and the wall or
door surface is at least 30 mm and maximum 62 mm. See Pict. 3.

Step 2
Connect the two gate sections (a) and (b) with the connection screws (g) and the Barrel bolts (h)
at the top and bottom. See Pict. 4 and 5. Ensure that the gate sections are attached firmly to each
other. Screw the screws tight with a Phillips screwdriver.
Step 3 - Installing the hinge side
Mark the hole position on the hinge side with the help of the mounting template (n). These are
marked with ”B”. Se Pict. 13, 14 and 15. First, only the lower hinge parts (e) are attached using the
wood screws (i). See Pict. 13, 16 and 17.

Step 4 - Installing the locking side
The screw holes for the closing side must be marked using the mounting template (n). These are
marked with ”A”. See Pict. 8, 9 and 10.

Step 5 - Installing the stopper

Optionally, the stoppers (l) can be inserted either on the left or right. For this purpose, insert the
stoppers (l) on the side of the hinge supports (j) and (k), see Pict. 6 and 7, before they are attached
using the wood screws (i). See Pict. 11 and 12.
Step 6
Hang the hinge bolts (c) of gate section (b) unto the lower and top hinge pin (e). Install the top hinge part (f) on both the upper and lower hinge and attach with wood screws (i). See Pict. 18 and 19.
Adjust the spindles on the locking side so (j) and (k) can lock into place well at the top and the
bottom. See Pict. 20 and 21.
Opening the gate
In order to open the door, press the clip of the locking latch B (k) downwards and lift the door up
out of the latch. Se Pict. 22 and 23.
Closing the gate
When closing the door, the spindles must be fully inserted in the bottom and top latch. For this purpose, press the gate down without pressing the latch. It locks automatically when fully inserted.
INSTALLATION ON STAIRS
Especially well suited for installation at the top of
stairs as it opens completely and does not present
a tripping hazard. Here, the direction of opening
shall be limited not to open over the stairs by the
installation of the supplied stopper (l). See Step 5.
Option (A):
stairs it should not be positioned below the top level.
Option (B): If the safety barrier is used at the bottom of
the stairs, it should be positioned in the front of the lowest
tread possible.
Attention!
Regularly check the safety of the installation, static stability and locking function. Adjust if necessary according to the indications in these instructions.

PRODUKT-INFORMATION
• Gitteret kan indstilles til åbninger fra 68 – 106 cm.
• Når gitteret monteres udvendigt på åbninger kan det afskærme åbninger langt mindre end 68 cm.
• Kan installeres i døråbninger, på trapper og udvendigt foran åbninger i variable vinkler mellem stærke overflader.
• Før montering skal det sikres, at væggen, dør-rammen eller trappegelænder er stærkt og solidt, fri for skidt og fedt. Hvis der
skal monteres i mursten, gips eller andre overflader end træ, kan det være nødvendigt at montere en træliste først.
• De medleverede skruer kan kun anvendes til træ. Montering i mursten, gips eller anden overflade kræver korrekte skruer og
ravplugs.
• Gem denne vejledning og spændenøglen til senere brug.
• Dette gitter har en manuel lukke-mekanisme. Gitteret skal altid efterlades korrekt lukket og låst.
• Når gitteret er installeret i henhold til denne vejledning opfylder det EN1930:2011.

INSTALLERING AF GITTERET
VIGTIGT: Når gitteret monteres på toppen af trapper, skal gitteret monteres således, at det
ikke kan åbnes ud over trappen (anvend envejsstopperne) Gitteret skal altid åbnes væk fra
trappen! Se pkt. 5.
Pkt. 1.
Anbring gittersektion (a) og (b) parallelt uden afstand mellem de lodrette tremmer. Se bill. 1 og 2.
Forskyd sektionerne ud mod åbningens sider, indtil der er mindst 30 mm og maksimalt 62 mm
mellem den yderste tremme og væggen i begge sider. Se bill. 3.

Pkt. 2
De to gittersektioner samles med samleskruerne (g) og møtrikkerne (h) i top og bund. Se bill 4
og 5. Det skal altid sikresa at sektionerne er spændt sammen. Skruerne spændes stramt med en
skruetrækker.
Pkt. 3. Montering af hængselssiden
Marker hul-/skrueposition ved hjælp af skabelonen (n). Hængselssiden er betegnet (B). Se bill
13,14 og 15. På dette stadie monteres kun den nederste del af hængslelsdelene e og kun i det
nederste skruehul ved hjælp af skruerne (i). Se bill. 13, 16 og 17.
Ved montering i andet end træ skal de korrekte rawlplugs anvendes.
