Congratulations on purchasing a Rear View Backup
Camera System!
With this manual you will be able to properly install and
operate the unit.
The Backup Camera System is intended to be installed as a supplement aid to your standard rear view mirror that already exists in your vehicle. The Backup Camera System should not be used as a substitute for the standard rear view mirror or for any other mirror
that exists in your vehicle.
In some jurisdictions, it is unlawful for a person to drive a motor vehicle equipped with a TV viewer or screen located forward of the back of the driver’s seat or in any location that is visible, directly
or indirectly, to the driver while operating the vehicle.

warnings carefully. Failure to do so can cause serious damage and/or
injury, including loss of life. Be sure to obey all applicable local
trac and motor vehicle regulations as it pertains to this product.

USAGE:
The Rear View Camera System is
designed to help the driver safe­ly detect people and/or objects helping to avoid damage or injury. However, you the driver, must use it properly. Use of this system is not a substitute for safe, proper or legal driving.
Never back up while looking at the
monitor alone. You should always
damage or injury. Always back up slowly.
The Rear View Camera System is
not intended for use during exten­sive back-up maneuvers or backing into cross trac or pedestrian walk­ways.

Before drilling please check that no cable or wiring is on the other side of the wall. Please clamp all wires securely to reduce the possibility of them being damaged while vehicle is in use. Keep all cables away
from hot or moving parts and electrical noisy components.
We recommend doing a benchmark test before installation
to insure that all components are working properly.
Step 1: Choose the monitor and camera locations.
Step 2: Install all cables in vehicle, when necessary a 0.8 (20mm) hole should be drilled for passing camera cable through vehicles walls. Install split grommets where applicable.
Step 3: Once all cables and wiring have been properly routed, perform a system function test by temporarily connecting the system.

Precautions
Storage and Keeping
1. Do not expose the monitor to excessive heat or cold. The storage temperature of this device is -30°C~+80°C, and the operating tem­perature is -20°C~+70°C. Battery operating temperature is 0-70°C. The humidity is Rh 90%.
2. Never use this device near water or damp locations.
3. Never use this device in environments with excessive moisture, dust or smoke.
4. Avoid dropping or striking this device.
5. Avoid using this device in enclosed spaces, areas with excessive vi­bration or areas subject to severe impacts.
6. Never puncture, scratch or use abrasive cleaning materials on this device.
7. Do not place cables where they may be pinched or stepped on.
8. Leave at least a 2” space between the monitor and walls, cabinets or other objects to allow adequate air circulation around the device.
9. The monitor is not designed to be waterproof.

Operating Precautions
1. The device may be powered by a 12 or 24 volt battery, as well as the vehicle's electrical system.
2. Make sure all cables are connected properly. Improper cable con­nections may damage the monitor. Remove the power cable connections when not using the device.
3. The back-up battery can be recharged when the power is on.
4. When battery is fully charged, recharging will automatically stop.
5. If batteries are not used for a while, it may take longer to charge.
Warning!
1. This monitor is high voltage. Only professionals should open the mon­itor's case.
2. Do not watch the video while driving unless you are monitoring the rear view camera display.
Special Note
Occasionally, a few highlights or dark spots may appear on the LCD screen. This doesn’t necessarily indicate any monitor defects. Never try to repair this device yourself. If any problems occur, immediately turn the display o and notify our company or an authorized dealer. Any disassembly or modication may lead to

Maintenance
1. Remove all cable connections from the monitor before cleaning the device.
2. Use a mild household detergent and a slightly damp cloth to clean the unit. Never use strong solvents such as thinner or benzine, as they may damage the nish of the device.

OSD Setting
• SCALE: To turn on / o electronic distance label. When set as ON, electronic distance label will be displayed when rear view camera (camera 3) is activated.
• INPUT SCAN: To turn on / o auto identication of camera inputs. When IN­PUT SCAN is set as ON, monitor will display connected cameras and skip inputs not in connection.
• BOUNDARY: To set color of the separation line between camera inputs. White, gray, black and uncolored are available. LANGUAGE: To set OSD language. English, French, Dutch, Spanish, German and Italian are available.
• SOFTWARE VERSION: To be updated at all times.

Trigger Setting
• TURN IMAGE: To set the camera input(s) to be displayed when left-side cam­era (camera 1) / right-side camera (camera 2) is activated.When set as SINGLE, correspond camera input will be displayed when either camera is activated. When set as SPLIT,split image of left-side and rear view camera will be dis­played when left-side camera is activated; split image of right-side and rear view camera will be displayed when right-side camera is activated.
• REAR IMAGE: To set the camera input(s) to be displayed when rear view camera is activated. When set as BACK, the rear view camera will be displayed when activated. When set as TRIPLE,left-side, right-side and rear view camera will be displayed.
• TRIGGER DELAY: To set the delaying time of video display when trigger signal goes o. Delaying time frame: 0-30 seconds.
• SPLIT SCREEN: To set the camera input(s) to be displayed when “split”trigger wire is activated. LEFT / RIGHT is to set the camera input to be displayed on the left / right side of monitor screen. AUDIO is to set the audio output from any of the four cameras.

• REC-V OUT: To set the camera input(s) to be recorded when connected to DVR via the green RCA wire. Left-side, right-side, front view, rear view camera and quad view image can be selected.
• AUTOSCAN: To set the auto scanning function. When AUTOSCAN is set as ON, monitor will automatically switch between connected camera inputs and quad image.
• SCAN DELAY: To set the switching time of AUTOSCAN. Switching time frame: 0-60 seconds.
• JUMP KEY: To set the shortcut display mode from the 13 modes to the left.It can be activated by jump key selector.
• POWER ON: To set the default display model from the 13 modes to the left or STANDBY mode.
• BEEP: To turn on / o the warning tone. Default setting is ON and there will be a beeping sound when menu is being operated.
• SYSTEM: To set TV system: PAL / NTSC.
JUMP KEY SETTING
• DIMMER: To set backlighting brightness level of screen. Five levels and AUTO option are available; the higher the level, the brighter. When set as AUTO, backlighting automatically adjusts in accordance with the outer brightness.
