The CA Keypad Color Conversion Kit is used to change the keypad’s exterior plastics to another color. The kit consists of a
bezel and volume up/down buttons (KPSC does not have volume buttons).
Note: The keypad must be powered off before installing the conversion kit. For installed keypads, unplug the CA controller.
CA Keypad Color Conversion Kit Instructions
Locate the four tabs (two on
each side) that hold the bezel in
place. Press the tab until the
bezel is free. (KP6 keypad is
shown)
Place the new bezel over the
buttons and press firmly until
the four tabs snap into place.
The label window must be correctly placed on the keypad for
the bezel to snap into place.
To replace, line up
the openings in
the back of the
light box over the
corresponding
LEDs on the circuit board.
The light box that
holds the source
labels may come out.
Pull off the volume up/down rockers. The
elastomer source button and mat (one piece)
may move out of place.
To replace, make sure the two protruding
guides on the bottom of the pad are placed
in the corresponding holes on the keypad.
Position the replacement volume rockers
over the elastomer
mat. The volume
arrows protrude from
the elastomer and fit
into the openings on
the volume buttons.
Caution: Too much
force may cause the
tabs to break.
