INSTRUCTION MANUAL
INTRODUCTION
Before using your new heater, please carefully read through the following
After removing the packaging, make sure that the appliance is in good
condition.
The packaging materials may contain plastic, nails etc., which may be
hazardous and therefore should not be left within the reach of children.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
WARNING - to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or injury to persons or property:
1. Always operate the product from a power source of the same voltage, frequency and rating
as indicated on the product identification plate.
2. Remove the unit from its packaging and check to make sure it is in good condition before
using.
3. Do not let children play with parts of the packing ( such as plastic bags)
4. Close supervision is necessary when the product is used by or near children or infants. Do
not allow children to use it as a toy.
5. Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or plug, or after the product malfunctions,
or is dropped or appears damaged in any way. Return the complete product to the place of
purchase for inspection, repair or replacement.
6. Before unplugging the power cord, be sure to turn the power off. When touching the unit,
be sure your hands are dry to prevent electrical shock.
8. Ensure the cord is fully extended before use and arrange it so that it is not in contact with

any part of the heater.
9. In use, some parts of the heater are hot. When moving, hold the heater only by the handle
provided.
7. Do not use the heater in areas such as garages where petrol, paint or other flammable
substances are used or stored.
8. Do not use near or point the heater to furniture, animals, curtains or other inflammable
objects. Keep combustible materials such as furniture, bedding and any other combustible
materials at least 1 metre from the front and sides, and from the rear of the heater.
9. Do not place the cord under carpet or cover with throw rugs or furniture. Arrange the cord
so that it cannot be tripped over.
10. The unit is also fitted with a tip over switch. Do not use on thick and long pile carpets, as
the heater may not work, due the tip over switch not been activated.
11. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the product or flexible cord
to rain, moisture or any liquid other than those necessary for correct operation of the
product.
12. This product should not be used in the immediate vicinity of water, such as bathtub,
washbowls, bathroom swimming pool etc. where the likelihood of immersion or splashing
could occur.
13. Switch off and unplug from outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling
parts and before cleaning. Remove by grasping the plug - do not pull on the cord.
14. A common cause of overheating is deposits of dust and fluff entering the heater. Ensure
these deposits are removed regularly by unplugging the heater, allowing it to cool and
cleaning as described in the Care, Cleaning and Storage section.
15. Be sure that no other high current appliances are plugged into the same circuit with your
heater as an overload can occur.
16. Avoid the use of an extension cord as the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of
fire.
17. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
18. Do not use outdoors. FOR INDOOR USE ONLY.
19. Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on.
20. Do not place objects on the product or allow objects to obstruct the inlet or outlet openings,
or operate in close proximity to walls or curtains, etc. Do not cover the unit when in
operation.
21. Do not locate the heater immediately below a socket-outlet.
22. The use of attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by the product distributor
may cause personal or property hazards or injuries.
23. This product is intended for normal domestic/household use only.
24. Use this heater as described in this manual. Any other uses, not recommended by the
manufacturer, may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons and may void the
warranty.
OPERATION
25. Before inserting the plug into an electrical outlet, make sure that the
electrical supply in your area matches that on the rating label on the unit.
26. When plugged in, turn on the thermostat switch at the back of unit.

Warning: The heater will remain hot for some time after it is turned off; handle with
care. NOTE: the remote control buttons perform the same functions as those on the control panel on the unit.
OVERHEAT PROTECTION
This heater is protected with an overheat protection that switches off the appliance automatically in case of overheat, e.g. due to the total or partial obstruction of the grids. In this case, unplug the appliance, wait about 30 minutes for it to cool and remove the object which is obstructing the grids. Then switch it back on as described above. The appliance should operate normally. Should the problem persist, please contact the nearest customer service.
TIP-OVER PROTECTION
This heater is protected with a safety switch that turns off the appliance automatically when the heater falls over, or is at an excessive angle from the horizontal. This helps prevent accidents, and the heater will resume operation when it is put back upright.
MAINTENANCE
27. When your heater needs cleaning, wipe exterior surfaces of the heater with
a moistened cloth. Not rinse with water directly. Be sure to unplug before cleaning.
28. Pull out filters and clean them, when its very dirty.
29. To prolong the heater life, not disassemble it personally when malfunction
occurs. Send your heater to relative identification after-sold service center or provider for the convenience inspecting.
Environment
Meaning of crossed –out wheeled dustbin: Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted
municipal waste, use separate collection facilities. Contact your local government for information regarding the collection systems available.If electrical
appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being. When replacing old appliances with new ones, the retailer is legally obligated to take back your old appliance for disposals at least free of charge.

W A R R A N T Y
1. Home of Living Brands (Pty) Limited warrants to the original purchaser of
this product (“the customer”) that this product will be free of defects in
quality and workmanship which under normal personal, family or
household use and purpose may manifest within a period of 1 (one) year
from the date of purchase (“warranty period”).
2. Where the customer has purchased a product and it breaks, is defective or
does not work properly for the intended purpose, the customer must
notify the supplier from whom the customer bought the product (“the
supplier”) thereof within the warranty period. Any claim in terms of this
warranty must be supported by a proof of purchase. If proof of purchase
is not available, then repair, and/or service charges may be payable by
the customer to the supplier.
3. The faulty product must be taken to the supplier's service centre to exercise
the warranty.
4. The supplier will refund, repair or exchange the product in terms of this
warranty subject to legislative requirements. This warranty shall be valid
only where the customer has not broken the product himself, or used the
product for something that it is not supposed to be used for. The warranty

does not include and will not be construed to cover products damaged as
a result of disaster, misuse, tamper, abuse or any unauthorised
modification or repair of the product.
5. This warranty will extend only to the product provided at the date of the
purchase and not to any expendables attached or installed by the
customer.
6. If the customer requests that the supplier repairs the product and the
product breaks or fails to work properly within 3 (three) months of the
repair and not as a result of misuse, tampering or modification by or on
behalf of the customer, then the supplier may replace the product or pay a
refund to the customer.
7. The customer may be responsible for certain costs where products returned
are not in the original packaging, or if the packaging is damaged. This will
be deducted from any refund paid to the customer.
