OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Ensure the unit is on a firm, flat surface. Plug the unit into the wall socket and switch
on the wall socket. Use the remote control or the on-board control panel to select the
following:
Speed: Press the On/Speed button to start the unit. Press this button once for
low speed, twice for medium speed and three times for high speed.
Page 6
Wind type: Three wind speed settings are available. The first setting is Normal,
where the unit will blow at a constant speed as per your speed selection. The
second setting is Natural, where the unit will blow at higher and lower speeds
alternatively, again as per your speed selection. The third setting is Sleeping,
where the unit will blow at a high speed for 30 minutes, then at medium speed for
30 minutes and then at low speed until the preset time is over.
Timer: The unit can be programmed to run for a preset length of time, ranging
from 0.5 hours to 7.5 hours. Press the Timer button until the desired time limit is
reached.
Oscillation: To make the fan head swing from side to side, press the Swing once,
and again to make the fan head stay in one place again. The fan head can also
be tilted in a vertical direction. Gently push the fan motor up or down to change
the vertical direction of the fan.
Off button: This button will turn the fan section of the unit off.
Mist: This button will start the humidifier. The humidifier works independently of
the fan, so you can use the fan only, or humidifier only as you require. To stop
the humidifier, press the Mist button again. Please note: The Off button only
stops the fan, not the humidifier. Do not touch the water tank while the humidifier
is in use. When the water tank is empty, the humidifier will automatically switch
off.
When the water in the water tank is finished, the tank will glow red to indicate that
the tank needs to be refilled.
As each selection is made, lights will indicate the selection on the control panel.
