C USAGE – CARPETS
1 The steam mop must only be used to refresh carpeted flooring, without detergent.
, Empty the detergent reservoir before use, otherwise you may damage the carpet.
C USAGE – OTHER FLOORING TYPES
2 It can be used, with or without detergent, on most tiled, parquet, and laminate
flooring.
3 Detergent used in the appliance must be marketed as suitable for the type of
flooring to be cleaned. 4 Dilute the detergent in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. 5 Check that the flooring is correctly laid, without gaps or cuts that moisture could
penetrate. 6 Don’t use the appliance on unsealed wooden flooring, glass, soft plastic, or leather.
7 Don’t use it on waxed flooring – the wax may melt, causing damage.
8 Test it on an inconspicuous part of the flooring, and check for moisture penetration
and/or damage before proceeding.
