FITTING THE WAND
1. Unplug the appliance.
2. Push the wan d on to the end of the handl e, and turn it clock wise.
3. To remove, turn it anti -clockwise, t hen pull it o the handl e.
USING
Generall y, the wand ca n do anything a norm al blender can do. Make
milksha kes, smoothies, or may onnaise in a beaker. Purée i ngredients
in the pan you c ook them in.
• Don’t imme rse the wand past i ts junction wi th the handle.
Whatever con tainer you use, make sur e it’s on a stable, at
surfa ce, and support it w ith your free hand, t o prevent it moving.
1. Put the plug i nto the power socket .
2. Press the l ow (I) button for low sp eed, release it to s witch o.
3. Press th e high (II) button for h igh speed, releas e it to switch o.
• Large qua ntities, thick mi xes, and a high ratio of s olids to liquids
require longer timings and slower speeds.
• Smaller quantities, thinner mixes, and more liquids than solids
require shorter timings and higher speeds.
To avoid spray/splashing:
• Keep the wan d vertical.
• Don’t swi tch on till it’s inside t he container.
• Switch o before removing it.
• With liquid s, switch on and o wi th the blade under the s urface.
HOT LIQUIDS
If blendin g hot liquids in a pan, alw ays remove the pan fr om the heat
and allow it to c ool down a little b efore blending.
When using i n hot liquids, don’t le t the blade break the su rface at an
angle, you may spray hot liquid outside the container.
Don’t use the wand in hot oil. Splashes from even moderately hot oil
cause nasty burns.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
