Q13 How do I improve a weak signal to my wireless network?
When the signal strength is low, your wireless connection may
become unreliable, slow or erratic. Wireless networks can be
hindered by objects in between the antenna of the router or
access point, and the wireless adapter in your computer.
To improve the signal strength, reduce the distance between
the devices, and have a minimal amount of physical objects
such as walls or ceilings, in between.
You may also correct the interference by re-orienting or
relocating the receiving antenna. Another way is to connect the
equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that of the
connected receiver.
