B. USING THE MACHINE
Checks to be made before using the machine.
Before using the machine, make sure that no parts are worn or
damaged. Immediately repair or replace any worn or damaged parts.
Make sure that the voltage and frequency of the mains supply
coincide with those indicated on the characteristics plate of the
machine.
The machine is started and stopped by means of the two-position
switch (O-I). The mains power supply should include an earth
connection and protection against earth leakage (differential circuit
breaker). In the event of any failure in the power supply, reset this
circuit breaker before attempting to restart the machine.
hen using an extension cord, make sure that the conductor cable
section is not less than 2.5 mm. The RUBIMIX Mixing machine is
fitted with the following safety devices: Thermal circuit breaker that
protects the motor against damage in the event the blades jam. An
electrical protection system that prevents the machine being
operated if the blades are not inside the drum. The safety system
stops the RUBIMIX mixer if any attempt is made to raise the blades
while they are in operation.
For easier storage, dismantle the handle (A) by releasing the snap
safety system to free the screw (B) (Fig. 4).

E. MANTENIMENT
1. Examineu periòdicament els cables de la màquina i, si estan
danyats, feu-los reparar pel servei tècnic autoritzat.

6. Start the machine by pressing the button (I) and stop it by
pressing button (O) (Fig 6).
7. Do not use the machine if the switch does not light nor if it
goes out.
8. For best mixing results always add the last part of the material
to be mixed very slowly.
9. When mixing has been completed clean the blades and drum
with water under pressure.
10. For best performance of the machine always use it on a level
surface.
11. Store the machine when not in use in a dry enclosure and out
of the reach of children.
12. Before using the machine again, examine it carefully to make
sure that it will operate correctly and is suitable for the task to
be carried out. If a protective cover or other part has been
damaged in any way it should be suitably repaired or replaced
by an authorise service technician unless other instructions are
provided in this manual.
WARNING:
The use of chemical products, solvents, etc. may affect or
damage parts of the machine. This machine is not suitable for
mixing cement or mortars with a high content in gravel or
course sand. It should not be used for mixing glues, lacquers, or
1. With the RUBIMIX mixing machine you have a valuable tool
that enables you to make homogeneous mixtures of tiling
mortar, pre-mixed cements, facing cement, grout, paints and
varnishes. Two different models are available to satisfy the
needs of all types of user:
RUBIMIX-25-N Modelfor mixing up to 25 Kg.
RUBIMIX-50-N Modelfor mixing up to 50 Kg.
2 & 3. Consult the manufacturers instructions for the exact
amount of water to be used to prepare the mixture.
RUBIMIX-25-N Fill the drum with the required amount of
water to mix 25 Kg of mortar.
Start the RUBIMIX mixer and add about 12 Kg of cement at
one time. Once this part is mixed, slowly add the rest of the
cement.
RUBIMIX-50-N Fill the drum with the required amount of
water to mix 50 Kg of mortar.
Start the RUBIMIX mixer and add one sack (25 Kg) of cement
all at once. Once the first sack is completely mixed, slowly add
the contents of the second sack (Fig 3.).
4. RUBIMIX-25-N and RUBIMIX-50-N machines are fitted with a
removable handle to enable easy packing and storage of the
machine (Fig.4-5).
5. Once mixing has been completed disconnect the mixer from
the power supply to prevent any accidents. Before lifting the
gearbox shaft, make sure that the blades are in the position
shown (Fig. 2). The "H" handle will aid in lifting the gearbox shaft.
D. SAFETY MEASURES
1. The machine is equipped with a double safety system to protect
the motor against overheating and excess power consumption.
Should the machine stop for no apparent reason, it is probably
due to an overload. Wait a few minutes for the safety circuit to
rearm itself.
2. Do not attempt to stop the machine from rotating.
3. Read these instructions carefully before operating the machine
and keep them in a safe place.
4. Disconnect the machine from the power supply before carrying
out any adjustments, servicing or maintenance work. Only use
the machine in combination with a differential circuit breaker and
with a power connection plug offering F1 protection.
5. Keep the work area clear. Untidy work areas and benches may
cause accidents.
6. Do not leave the machine exposed to bad weather conditions.
7. Do not use the machine in wet or humid sites.

10. Evitar contactos corporales con superficies puestas a
tierra o a masa.
11. No permitir que personas especialmente niños, no relacionadas
con el trabajo, toquen la máquina y los cables extensibles y
mantenerlas alejadas del área de trabajo.
