First-aid measures general
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If you feel unwell, seek medical
advice (show the label where possible).
First-aid measures after inhalation
Cough. Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Call
a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell.
First-aid measures after skin contact
Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. If skin irritation persists, take medical
advice. Wash with plenty of soap and water. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
First-aid measures after eye contact
Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Direct contact with the eyes is likely to be
irritating. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation
persists: Get medical advice/attention.
First-aid measures after ingestion
Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Obtain emergency medical attention.
Symptoms/injuries after inhalation
Shortness of breath. May cause an allergic skin reaction. May cause respiratory irritation.
Symptoms/injuries after skin contact
Symptoms/injuries after eye contact
Causes serious eye irritation.
Suitable extinguishing media
Foam. Dry powder. Carbon dioxide. Water spray. Sand.
Unsuitable extinguishing media
Do not use a heavy water stream.
Extremely flammable aerosol.
May form flammable/explosive vapour-air mixture. Heat may build pressure, rupturing closed
containers, spreading fire and increasing risk of burns and injuries.
Stable under normal conditions of use.

Firefighting instructions
Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers. Exercise caution when fighting any
chemical fire. Prevent fire-fighting water from entering environment. DO NOT fight fire when fire
reaches explosives. Evacuate area.
Protection during firefighting
Do not enter fire area without proper protective equipment, including respiratory protection.
No open flames. No smoking. Isolate from fire, if possible, without unnecessary risk. Remove
ignition sources. Use special care to avoid static electric charges.
Evacuate unnecessary personnel.
Equip cleanup crew with proper protection.
Ventilate spillage area. Soak up spills with inert solids, such as clay or diatomaceous earth as
soon as possible. Collect spillage. Store away from other materials.
Additional hazards when processed
Handle empty containers with care because residual vapours are flammable. Hazardous waste
due to potential risk of explosion. Pressurized container: Do not pierce or burn, even after use.
Precautions for safe handling
No open flames. No smoking. Use only non-sparking tools. Wash hands and other exposed
areas with mild soap and water before eating, drinking or smoking and when leaving work.
Provide good ventilation in process area to prevent formation of vapour. Do not spray on an
open flame or other ignition source.
Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eating, drinking or
smoking and when leaving work. Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the
workplace. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
Comply with applicable regulations. Proper grounding procedures to avoid static electricity
should be followed.
Keep only in the original container in a cool, well ventilated place away from : Direct sunlight,
Heat sources, Ignition sources. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C/ 122 °F.
Strong bases. Strong acids.
Sources of ignition. Direct sunlight. Heat sources.
