Installing Your New Faucet
IMPORTANT – DO NOT USE PIPE DOPE OR TEFLON TAPE
FOR ANY FAUCET OR SUPPLY CONNECTIONS!
Step 1
Attach both threaded studs (F) to the back of the semi-assembled cover plate.
Step 2
Attach the right angled copper pipe of the exible connection hose (R) tube to short brass connection pipe (P) and tighten.
NOTE: For Cast Iron Sinks replace the short brass connection pipe (P) with the long brass
connection pipe (Q).
Step 3
Guide the semi-assembled faucet spout through the 3-hole 4” or 8” center set in the wall of the
sink. In most installations it may be best to remove the sink for easy access.
NOTE: For single-hole sinks it will be neccessary to make two extra holes to mount this faucet.
Step 4
Finish securing the cover plate from behind by placing the two washers (G) on to each of the
threaded studs. Secure the right stud with ring grounding terminal and hex nut (H) from the
Isolation Kit (HH). Then secure the left stud with the remaining hex nut.
Step 5
Secure the spout by using the following components in sequential order:
a. Black plastic insulator (L)
IMPORTANT: The stepped section of this insulator ensures that the spout is centered. Make sure the step ts through the center mounting hole.]
b. U washer (M)
c. Sensor wire connection washer (N)
IMPORTANT: Make sure this washer’s tab is perpendicular to the oor.]
d. Brass mounting nut (O)
Step 6
Connect the two 12” supply hoses (W) to the mixing valve (X). Place the rubber washer (EE)
into the mixing valve’s brass nut tting (as shown) and then tighten to bottom of the valve con-
trol module (S).
Step 7
Connect the Cover Plate Ground Wire Connector (HH) to one side of the valve control modules
U-tab. Then connect of the earth ground wire connector (GG) to the other side of the U-tab.
Step 8
Hand tighten the valve control module assembly to the exible connection hose (R).
NOTE: Make sure the rubber washer (EE) is in the white plastic nut before connecting the
valve control module to the exibly connection hose (R).
