5. MEASUREMENT
5-1 Temperature, humidity and dew point temperature
measurement
1. Slide power switch to “ON” position.
2. Slide temperature units switch to desired or position.
3. Slide TEMP, %RH and DEW switch to desired position. (see below)

4. Slide power switch to “HOLD” position. Shows the “ HOLD ” symbol on the LCD. This is data holding mode.
5. “ ” symbol indicates that when there’s no operation
on any switches / keys for 30 minutes from powering on, the meter will auto power off.
5-2 Manual Data Memory and Reading Mode
1. To Memorize the reading
Press “MEMORY” key
momentarily.

Shows the “

” symbol
on the LCD about 0.5 second.
The number of memorized records increases by 1 to
the maximum of readings of 99.
When 99 sets, the “
M
FULL” symbol will
show on the LCD about
0.5 second. No further readings can be saved.

2. To Recall and Read Manual Memorized Reading
Press ”READ” key
momentarily
to read manual recorded data. The “
R
” symbol will show on
the LCD to indicate you are in manual read mode.
The LCD shows the data from the 34th record.
Press “READ” key again to read previous recorded data.
Press “MEMORY” momentarily to decrease the displayed
record by 10, continuing to press the “MEMORY” button momentarily will cycle the readings continually.

To exit the reading mode Keep Pressing “READ” key
for
about 2 seconds.
3. To Clear the manual memorized data
Turn off the meter then keep pressing “MEMORY” key and turn on the meter until “
M
CLr ” shows on the LCD to clear all memory data.
5-3 To Cancel auto power off mode
Turn off the meter then keep pressing “READ” key and turn
on the meter until “ OFF” symbol shows on the LCD,
then the “
” symbol will disappear, exit the auto power off mode.

5-4 User calibration procedure
Use a standard calibrated humidity meter or humidity
calibration capsules to verify the reading
1. Press and hold down “READ” and “MEMORY” key, then power until the LCD show the “CAL” symbol.
2. Press “READ” or “MEM” keys until the LCD value is same as the standard humidity meter.
3. Set power switch to “HOLD” position to store the calibrated value.
4. It is recommended that the unit is fully calibrated at least once a year.

6. BATTERY REPLACEMENT
1. If battery power is not sufficient the LCD will display

Replacement with one new battery, type 9V, is required.
2. Press battery cover and push in the direction of the arrow to open.
3. Disconnect battery from instrument and replace with a standard 9-Volt battery and replace battery cover.
4. Dispose of the used batteries in accordance with local regulations.
