Important Safeguards

Read all instructions carefully before using your Royal Vort-X blender.

Risk of
Electrical Shock

Avoid Contact
With Moving Parts

• To prevent personal injury or property damage caused by fire, always unplug this and all
appliances when not in use.

• Do not immerse cord, plugs or motor base in water or other liquid.

• Do not use your Royal Vort-X Blender outdoors.

• Do not operate your Royal Vort-X Blender if the cord or plug has been damaged in any way.

• Never use an extension cord with the unit.

• Unplug the blender when not in use, before changing locations, or cleaning.

• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk
of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit
fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still doesn’t fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not
modify the plug in any way.

• Keep fingers, hands, hair and loose clothing away from moving parts.

• Keep all utensils away from the drive socket and blender jar blades while the motor is running
as these items may damage blades or the blender jar.

• Never put hands into the blender jar or add substances by hand when the blender
motor is running.

• Never touch the blade with your fingers.

• Do not shake, tilt or remove the blender jar while motor is running.

• Avoid touching the blender drive socket aer extensive use. The blender drive socket may
become hot aer extensive use.

• Never remove the blender motor cover or attempt to repair the blender motor. Removing the
cover or attempting to service the blender motor will void the warranty.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, or by children.

Danger
Related to Misuse

• Do not operate your Royal Vort-X Blender if it has malfunctioned or has been damaged in any
manner. Return your Royal Vort-X Blender to the Royal Prestige® Service Center for repair
or adjustment.

• The use of any accessories or attachments not recommended by Royal Prestige® may cause
injuries and will void any warranty.

• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table, counter or other surface area or
touch hot surfaces.

• This product is for indoor use only and is not for commercial use. Using this product in a
manner other than its intended purpose may result in injury or damage.

• Do not blend hot liquids or other hot ingredients.

• Never operate the blender with an empty jar.

• Never operate the blender with more contents than the marked capacity of the jar.

• Never operate the blender without the lid in place.

• Blender jar must be properly secured to the motor base while appliance is operating.

Dangers Caused by
Non-Food Items

• Damage caused by non-food items will void the warranty.

• Keep hands and utensils out of jar while the blender motor is running to reduce the risk
of personal injury or damage to the blender.

• Utensils may only be used when the blender motor is not running.

• Blades are sharp! Handle carefully!

Set Up

SAVE ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS AND INSTRUCTIONS

You should have received the following items:

• Royal Vort-X blender motor base

• Blender jar with lid

• Royal Vort-X blender manual

1. Remove blender motor base, blender jar,
and lid from packaging.

2. Unwind the power cord.

3. Check for any packing material that may
have blocked ventilation holes on the underside
of the blender motor base.

4. Inspect all items to ensure no damage occurred
during shipment.

5. If any damage has occurred, contact your Royal
Prestige service center immediately.

BLENDER MOTOR BASE

• The control panel of your Royal Vort-X Blender consists of the Power icon, speed control, speed indicator,
the Pulse icon, and the Pause icon.

• Drive Socket: Where the blender jar connects with the motor to turn the blade assembly.

• Safety Lock: ensures proper connection between blender jar and motor base.

• Power Unit: This unit is located within the blender motor base and contains the computerized electronics

that run the blender.

• Motor Base Cover: Houses the power unit in durable zinc die-cast and plastic material.

• Power Cord: Located at the back of the motor base cover.

BLENDER JAR ASSEMBLY

The blender jar assembly consists of the blender jar, blade assembly and lid.

• Jar: Copolyester, easy to clean.

• Blade Assembly: Stainless steel blades designed to provide smooth, consistent blending.

• Lid: Vented lid seals liquids within the jar during blending.

NOTE: Do not fill the blender jar beyond its marked capacity.

Operation

Use these steps to get started right away.

1. Place ingredients to be processed inside jar before

powering on.

2. Plug in the blender.

3. Attach the lid to the jar; ensure that it is installed

on the jar completely.

4. Place the blender jar onto the motor base and

rotate clockwise, making sure the jar is secure and
fully seated on the motor base. The numbers 3, 2, 1,
will appear on the screen as a security measure, to
indicate that the blender is ready to be used.

5. Press the power icon located on the lower center of

the control panel.

6. Press the pulse icon or slide your finger along the

speed control arc for manual speed control.

7. When you have completed your blend cycle, turn off
the blender, pressing the on/off button, and remove
the blender jar from the motor base by rotating the
jar assembly counter-clockwise until it unlocks.

8. Li the jar from the moto base.

9. For best results, clean the blender jar
immediately aer blending

10. Press Pause at any point to stop the blending
process. Be careful not to touch the control panel
sensors while the motor is paused. Remember that
the blender features a touch screen system and the
Pulse action could be activated if grazed by the arm
or hand.

11. For best results when blending dry foods, we
recommend filling the blender jar half full.

For best performance, wipe the top of the jar and spout area immediately after each pour. Do not allow food to remain on
the outside of the jar for an extended period of time.

Cleaning / Care

1. Unplug the blender from the electrical socket.

2. Do not use stiff bristled brushes or abrasive
cleansers to clean the motor base or jar assembly
as this can dull or scratch the surface.

3. NEVER submerge the blender motor in water.

4. Aer cleaning, we recommend the blender jar be
stored upright.

5. Clean the base by first unplugging the power cord
and then simply wiping the base and control panel
with a damp cloth.

6. The appliance is easier to clean if you do so
immediately aer use.

7. If washing the blender by hand, use warm water.
Your Royal Vort-X Blender is also dishwasher safe.

8. To clean the blender Jar, follow these steps:

• Disassemble the Cover: remove the cover and the

twist-off knob.

The Blender is
running erratically

1. Determine if the Power Button is lit. Absence of a lit Power Button indicates a lack of
power to the unit.

2. Make sure the blender is plugged in.

3. Unplug the power cord from the wall receptacle, wait 5 seconds, then plug power
cord back in.

If the A icon appears on your blender, it indicates that the mixture you are trying to blend
is too thick. Add more liquid to make the mixture thinner.

If the E icon appears on your blender, it indicates that the jar is not properly seated on
the motor base. The blender will not operate until the jar is properly seated. Rotate the
jar clockwise on the motor base until it locks in place. If the icon does
not disappear aer placing the jar on the motor base properly, please call a Royal
Prestige service center.

If the C icon appears on your blender, it indicates that the motor base has reached a
temperature overload. The blender will not operate until the internal temperature has
dropped. Unplug the unit and let it cool down. If the condition persists, please call a
Royal Prestige service center.

The Blender may run erratically if liquid drips onto the Control Panel. First disconnect the
Blender, then wipe it with a clean cloth and let dry.
