IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS SAFETY WARNING

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed

1. Read all instructions.

2. To protect against risk of electrical shock do not immerse motor base in water or other liquid.

3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

4. Unplug from outlet when not in use before putting on or taking o parts, and before cleaning.

5. Avoid contacting moving parts.

6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the customer support for examination and/or repair.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE

Top-set Assembly

STEP 1

Check Before Operating

Note |

• Wash the parts before  rst use.

• Ensure that the compression silicone and silicone ring are assembled properly.

Firmly insert the compression silicone into the slot below the pulp spout.

The MaXtractor™ may leak if not assembled properly.

Assemble the strainer into the rotation wiper, then place this assembly into the juicing bowl ensuring the red dot the strainer is aligned with the red dot on the juicing bowl.

Place the UltraSqueezer™ into the strainer.

Turn and press down on it until it clicks into place.

Note |

The UltraSqueezer™ needs to be locked in place in order to close the hopper.

For easy assembly hold the hopper and turn clockwise as shown in the illustration.

Place the top-set on top of the base. Align the arrow ▼ on the hopper with the arrow slightly turn the top-set clockwise, until the hopper arrow is aligned with the arrow (close)

HOW TO OPERATE

If the ingredients become jammed in the UltraSqueezer™ and the hopper does not open, press the OFF button. Then press and hold the REVERSE button until the ingredients become dislodged. Repeat REVERSE - OFF - FORWARD as often as needed to achieve the desired result.

After preparing the ingredients, plug the power cord into a wall outlet.

• Do not touch the power cord with wet hands. It may cause electrical shock,

short-circuit, or  re.

• Check the safety of the wall outlet.

Press the FORWARD button to operate.

• Forward: Pulls down and slowly masticates the ingredients.

• Reverse: Pushes the ingredients back up to dislodge them.

If the maXtractor™ stops during operation:

Switch the button to OFF position then press and hold the REVERSE button until the ingredients become dislodged.

Repeat REVERSE - OFF - FORWARD as needed.

Insert the prepared ingredients one piece at a time.

• Fibrous leafy vegetables (celery, kale, etc.): » Separate each stem. Cut the outer stems that are thick and tough to 4 inches long or

less.

» Bundle up the leafy vegetables as inserting into the maXtractor™. Alternate between

leafy parts and stems.

• Before extracting, remove hard seeds or pits in ingredients.

• When juicing frozen fruits with small seeds, ensure that even the seeds are completely

thawed.

• Insert the ingredients one piece at a time.

• Align the dots ● and slide the pusher in.

• After inserting ingredients, use the pusher when it is necessary. Too much use of the

pusher may a ect the juice quality.

» Intermittently use the pusher for soft ingredients like tomatoes and apples. Constant

use of pusher for soft ingredients may a ect the juice quality.

Use the smart cap to make mixed juices, stop juice from dripping, or rinse between di erent juices.

Smart cap

• Juicing with the smart cap closed creates various mixed juice creations when

di erent fruits and vegetables, milk, banana, beans etc. are selected.

• After juicing, close the smart cap to stop the juice from dripping, especially when

disassembling the juicing bowl o the base.

• When making di erent juices quickly rinse away any leftover  avors by running a

glass of water in the maXtractor™ with the smart cap closed.

• Leave the smart cap open when juicing ingredients that create excessive foam

during extraction, (e.g. apples, celery).

• Pay close attention when operating with the smart cap closed. Juice may over ow

if the juice collected in the juicing bowl exceeds its capacity marked on the bowl.

OFF OFFREVERSE FORWARD

• REVERSE: Pushes the ingredients back up to dislodge them.

The REVERSE button only works while holding down the switch.

• Switch OFF ensuring that the maXtractor™ comes to a complete stop. Then press REVERSE. Hold the REVERSE button for 2-3 seconds and release. Repeat as needed.

Let the maXtractor™ stop completely before using the REVERSE button to prevent malfunction.

• If the maXtractor™ does not work after these steps, disassemble and clean the parts before operating the maXtractor™ again.

Note |

After juice and pulp are completely extracted, switch the unit OFF.

• If the remaining ingredients in the juicing bowl have not been extracted completely, the hopper may not open easily. After each extraction, run the maXtractor™ for an

additional 30 seconds to let the maXtractor™ extract the remaining pulp.

• When the hopper is stuck, press the REVERSE - OFF - FORWARD button in this order; switching back and forth 2 or 3 times to dislodge the ingredients. Then place hands on top of the hopper and  rmly press down while simultaneously turning it counter clockwise to open.

» Depending on the ingredients, pour water down the hopper to rinse out the interior

of the juicing bowl and then attempt to remove it.

TIPS ON OPERATION TIPS ON INGREDIENTS

1. Operating the maXtractor™ without ingredients can cause damage to the UltraSqueezer™.

2. Do not continuously operate the maXtractor™ for more than 30 minutes.

This can damage the motor from overheating. After continuous use, let the maXtractor™ rest for 30 minutes to cool down before starting another session.

3. Do not put  ngers or other objects into the hopper. Always use provided pusher when needed.

If other objects are inserted into the hopper during operation, such materials can get stuck and damage the maXtractor™ parts and/or cause injury.

4. Do not put dried or hard ingredients like whole grains, fruits with hard seeds or ice into the maXtractor™.

These may damage the parts (e.g. juicing bowl, UltraSqueezer™, and strainer).

• Beans or grains can be used if soaked overnight or boiled.

• Fruits with pits and hard seeds must be pitted before juicing (e.g. nectarines, peaches, mangoes and cherries).

• When using frozen fruits with small seeds such as grapes, completely thaw before inserting them into the maXtractor™.

5. Do not use ingredients containing excessive amounts of vegetable oil or animal fat. Do not use the maXtractor™ to extract vegetable oil from ingredients.

If vegetable/animal oil gets on the UltraSqueezer™, it may reduce performance and even damage the part.

6. Do not reinsert the extracted pulp into the maXtractor™. This can cause the unit to stop or cause the hopper not to open.

7. After juicing ingredients with seeds like grapes, thoroughly clean all the crevices on the bottom of the UltraSqueezer™.

MaXtractor™ damage due to owner negligence or from not following the instructions of this manual will void the warranty.

Do not extract ingredients with no water content.

from ingredients with  rm composition and with high water content.

For best result, each ingredient should be prepared and extracted

depending on its characteristics and properties.

INGREDIENTS PREPARATION

Before Operating:

Juice Yield:

Soft fruits and vegetables

PREPARATION TIPS:

• Cut 1-4 wedges.

EXTRACTION TIPS:

• Slowly insert the ingredients, one piece at a time.

• Use the pusher to push the ingredients down the hopper. (The pusher also helps prevent juice from spraying out of the hopper when extracting ingredients with high water content)

• Leave the smart cap open when juicing ingredients that create excessive foam during extraction.

(Foam can accumulate if operated with the smart cap closed).

• It is recommended that the extracted juice be consumed within 48 hours after extracting. Depending on the density of the ingredients, the extracted juice can gradually show layers over time.

• If there is an excessive amount of foam, use a mesh strainer to separate it from the juice.

• When an ingredient is being masticated by the UltraSqueezer™, the squeezed ingredient may splash juice through the hopper. Use the pusher to block out the juice splash when juicing.

• Before Operating: If the maXtractor™ is jammed or if the hopper does not open, press the REVERSE button and hold until the ingredient becomes dislodged. Repeat REVERSE-OFF-FORWARD as needed.

• Continue operating the maXtractor™ until all the ingredients in the juicing bowl are extracted. The hopper may not open easily if there is a lot of pulp remaining in the maXtractor™.

• Every ingredient yields di erent amounts of juice.

• For the optimal extraction and maximum juice yield, cut the ingredients following the guidelines given in this section.

• Insert ingredients slowly monitoring how they are extracted.

The juice yield may vary depending on the juicing speed.

- Peel the skin o oranges, and for tomatoes and apples, take out the stem.

- If the ingredients are larger than the hopper, cut the ingredients into pieces that will fit into it.

- Fruits with seeds must be pitted before extraction. Cut to 1-4 wedges then slowly insert the ingredients down the hopper.

How to Use the Smart Cap:

Adjusting the amount of pulp in

• Juicing with the smart cap closed allows mixed juice creations with di erent fruits, vegetables and liquids.

• After juicing, close the smart cap to block excess juice from dripping, especially when disassembling the juicing bowl o the base.

• When making di erent juices, quickly rinse away any leftover  avors by running a glass of water in the maXtractor™ with the smart cap closed.

• Leave the smart cap open when juicing ingredients that create excessive foam during extraction (e.g. apples, celery).

• Pay close attention when operating the maXtractor™ with the smart cap closed. Juice may over ow if the amount collected in the bowl exceeds its capacity marked.

• Depending on the ingredient, you may get extra pulp when juicing continuously.

• To reduce the amount of pulp, disassemble the top-set and wash frequently.

Hard fruits and vegetables

Hard fruits and vegetables may put excess strain onto the motor and cause it to stall.

PREPARATION TIPS:

• Slice the ingredients 1 inch thick or cut 1 inch wide and 2-6 inches long.

• Soak hard ingredients like carrots and ginger in cold water prior to juicing.

EXTRACTION TIPS:

• Slowly insert the ingredients, one at a time.

• Pace the juicing speed ensuring each ingredient is thoroughly extracted.

• To maximize the juice yield, juice with ingredients with high water content.

(e.g. carrots, potato, beets & spinach):

1/2 - 1 inch

INGREDIENTS PREPARATION

Ingredients with small seeds

Slowly insert ingredients with small seeds to prevent clogging the strainer.

Insert ingredients slowly to minimize the amount of leftover seeds in the strainer.

For best result, juice with ingredients with higher amount of  uid(e.g. apple, pear)

(e.g. raspberry, pomegranate, grape):

PREPARATION TIPS:

• When juicing frozen ingredients, make sure they are completely thawed (e.g. raspberry, strawberry).

• Rinse ingredients thoroughly. Remove all stems.

• For pomegranate, discard the skin and juice only the inner part.

EXTRACTION TIPS:

• Depending on the size of the grape, insert 3-5 grapes at a time while monitoring the extraction result.

• Thaw frozen ingredients, like pomegranate and raspberry, then insert about 1 tablespoon (5g) at a time.

• Frozen ingredients usually lose signi cant amount of  uid from thawing. When juicing, mix milk or yogurt to balance the  uid lost.

Fibrous and/or tough leafy ingredients

Fibrous ingredients like celery and kale should be cut into small lengths before juicing

When juicing leaf y ingredients like celery and kale, do not collect more than 500g per session. For best result, disassemble and wash the top-set before juicing again.

If leafy ingredients wrap around the juicing UltraSqueezer™, open the hopper and remove the  bers before continue juicing.

It’s best to juice with ingredients with higher amount of  uid, like apples or carrots.

Carrots, apples :  brous ingredients = 9:1 [recommended ratio]

(e.g. celery, kale, pineapple):

PREPARATION TIPS:

• Soak  brous ingredients in cold water for about 30 minutes before cutting them.

• Separate each stem. Cut the outer stems that are thick and tough to 4 inches lon g or less.

EXTRACTION TIPS:

• One at a time, slowly insert the prepared ingredients.

• Insert more ingredients after the previously ones have been completely extracted.

For ingredients like cilantro or wheatgrass, grab a handful and insert in a bundle.

Caution |

If the hopper does not open due to excessive amount of small seeds left in the juicing bowl, continuously run the maXtractor™ for 30 second to extract any leftover seeds. If the hopper is still stuck, repeat REVERSE - OFF- FORWARD until the ingredients become dislodged. Then twist the hopper to open while pushing downwards with palms. (Depending on the ingredient, pour some water down the hopper for quick rinsing to help dislodging).

Caution |

• The  bers from tough ingredients like celery can wrap around the juicing UltraSqueezer™

and a ect maXtractor™’s performance. Cut the stems that are thick and tough to 4 inches long

or less.

• Foam can build up from juicing  brous ingredients. Use strainer to remove the foam before serving.

• For ingredients like pineapple, slice o the rind of the pineapple and cut around the  brous core. Cut the  esh of the pineapple to smaller pieces.

• Recommended amount of juicing per session is 500g. When juicing more than 500g, wash the top-set before continue juicing.

• Extract all the remaining pulp in the juicing bowl before stopping the maXtractor™.

• For easier clean up, operate the maXtractor™ for an additional 30 seconds after the juice is extracted.

• When the hopper is stuck, press the REVERSE – OFF – FORWARD button in this order, switching back and forth 2 to 3 times to dislodge. Then place hands on the lower part of the hopper and  rmly press down simultaneously turning the hopper counter clockwise to open.

Turn the hopper counter clockwise to

open.

Note |

• When moving the appliance, do not lift by grabbing the hopper. Always lift the appliance by grabbing the base or handle.

Remove the UltraSqueezer™, strainer and rotation wiper unit from the juicing bowl. Clean with provided brush.

Note |

• Immediately clean the maXtractor™ after each use. If remaining residue in the maXtractor™ dries up, it can make disassembling and clean-up difficult. The excess buildup can cause poor performance in future uses.

• For easier disassembly, place the top-set in the sink and run water through the topset.

• Thoroughly dry the bottom of the UltraSqueezer™ where it connects to the metal cylinder shaft on the base.

Place the juicing bowl under running

water and unplug the compression silicone to clean the pulp spout.

Under running water, clean the outside of the UltraSqueezer™ with a dish scrub. Use the tip of the cleaning brush to push out any residue in the crevices on the bottom of the part.

Tip |

• Thoroughly clean the UltraSqueezer™ ensuring that it is clean without any residue.

• Completely dry before using.

Note |

• After juicing ingredients with seeds, make sure to thoroughly clean the bottom crevice of the UltraSqueezer™. If this area isn’t properly cleaned, it can a ect the balance between the UltraSqueezer™ and the strainer and damage the parts.

Clean the base with a soft damp towel

and dry.

Quick Rinsing

With the smart cap closed,  ll the

juicing bowl with water and turn on the maXtractor™.

Let it run for a moment. Open the

smart cap and let the water run out of the juicing bowl.

Turn the top-set counter clockwise and

lift o the base.

• Soak the juicing bowl in a solution of

warm water with baking soda or little bit of bleach to clean the excess buildup.

• If the towel is dripping wet, make sure to squeeze out the excess liquid before using it on the maXtractor™.

Tip |

• It is not necessary to completely clean the maXtractor™ when making multiple juices during a single juicing session.

• When  nished juicing, always disassemble and clean thoroughly to prevent residue buildup.

HOW TO CLEAN SILICONE PARTS

Clean the rotation wiper under running water.

Thoroughly dry after cleaning. Before assembling the top-set, ensure that the compression silicone and silicone ring are  rmly inserted.

If the compression silicone and silicone ring are not  rmly inserted, juice may leak through the bottom of the juicing bowl.

Silicone Brushes

Pull out the Silicone brushes from the rotation wiper to clean.

After cleaning, insert into the slot with the tail pointing down as shown in the illustration.

Compression Silicone

Unplug to clean.

After cleaning,  rmly insert into the slot below the pulp spout.

The cleaning tool makes clean-up quick and easy.

Completely dry after cleaning.

Use the included cleaning brush to remove hard-to-reach bits after using the cleaning tool.

Hold the cleaning tool with one hand and insert the strainer into the tool.

Note |

Insert the strainer until you hear a click.

Under running water, rotate the cleaning tool and the strainer in opposite directions to clean.

Silicone Ring

Remove the silicone ring from the juicing bowl to clean.

After cleaning, push in the silicone ring with the smaller surface facing down.

Smart Cap

Remove from the juice spout to clean.

After cleaning, insert the silicone piece into the smart cap and attach the cap into the juice spout.

Thoroughly rinse the inside and outside of

the strainer under running water.

After cleaning, remove the strainer from the

cleaning tool. Dry before storing.

TROUBLESHOOTING Q&A

When there is no power to the maXtractor™:

• Check if the power cord is properly plugged in.

• Check if the hopper and the juicing bowl are properly assembled.

• Check if the top-set and the base are properly assembled.

• MaXtractor™ will not operate if parts are not assembled properly.

Low juice yield:

• Each ingredient has di erent amounts of liquid that will yield di erent amounts of juice.

• If the ingredients are not fresh, they may contain reduced amounts of  uid, which will yield less juice.

• Check if the compression silicone is  rmly inserted.

• If the ingredient itself has low water content, it may help to soak it in water before juicing.

• If juicing ingredients with small seeds, after a few servings, it may reduce the juice yield. For best results, disassemble and wash the top-set in between juicing.

• If there is seed residue on the bottom of the strainer, this can a ect maXtractor™ performance and the overall juice yield.

There is too much pulp in the juice:

• When continuously juicing, and depending on the ingredient, the juice may contain a lot of  ne pulp.

• To reduce the  ne pulp, clean the top-set frequently and extract the pulp.

• Use a mesh strainer and put the juice through it to collect the unwanted pulp.

• If the strainer and the UltraSqueezer™ are damaged and a ecting the maXtractor™’s performance, it is recommended the parts be replaced.

*The lifetime of each part may vary depending on length and method of use and ingredients extracted.

• If too many ingredients are inserted at the same time, it may cause the maXtractor™ to stop frequently. This can lead to pulpy juice. Insert the ingredients slowly and few at a time.

The hopper will not close:

• Make sure the UltraSqueezer™ is pushed all the way in to the strainer in order for the hopper to close properly.

Odd noise from the maXtractor™:

• Check if the parts are assembled correctly. Try reassembling the parts and listen for the odd noise.

• Do not start the maXtractor™ unless there are ingredients and/or liquid in it.

• Operating the maXtractor™ without ingredients can cause damage to the UltraSqueezer™.

• The friction noise from the UltraSqueezer™ and the strainer will disappear when ingredients are inserted into the maXtractor™.

• If the noise occurs when ingredients are inserted into the maXtractor™, check the size of the ingredients. Do not insert anything over 1 inch in thickness.

• Depending on the type of ingredients, the dimensions can be smaller.

• The noise can occur if the maXtractor™ is operated on an uneven or slanted surface. Place the maXtractor™ on a horizontally  at surface when operating.

The extracted pulp is very moist:

• During the very beginning of extraction, the pulp can be more moist.

• Depending on the ingredient’s condition, especially when the ingredient is not fresh, the juice can be extracted with the pulp.

• Select fresh ingredients.

During operation, the juicing bowl shakes.

• The UltraSqueezer™ and the strainer are set up to crush and squeeze the ingredients. It is normal for the UltraSqueezer™ and the strainer to vibrate.

• If the ingredient contains strong  ber, the vibration from the top-set may be stronger.

During juicing, the maXtractor™ stopped:

• Check the power cord and make sure it is plugged in correctly.

• Check that all the parts are correctly assembled.

• If too many ingredients are inserted at one time, this can cause the maXtractor™ to stop.

• When the maXtractor™ stops because there are too many ingredients inserted in it, press the REVERSE - OFF - FORWARD button in this order, switching back and forth 2 to 3 times.

• The reverse setting will push the ingredients up, and the forward setting will pull the ingredients down.

• If the maXtractor™ stops due to the overload protection, let it cool for 30 minutes to 2 hours before juicing again.

• If there are hard seeds within the ingredients, remove them before juicing. Hard seeds can damage the maXtractor™.

Layers of separation in the juice:

• Depending on the density of the ingredients, the extracted juice may show layers of di erent juices. It is di erent from separation due to oxidation caused by juicing with a high-speed maXtractor™.

The hopper is stuck:

• After juicing, let the maXtractor™ operate for another 30 seconds to extract the remaining pulp.

• If there is too much pulp in the top-set, this can cause the hopper to not open. In this situation, press the REVERSE OFF - FORWARD button in this order, switching back and forth 2 to 3 times.

• Pour water down the hopper to rinse out the inside and then try opening the hopper.

Juice dripping down the body of the base:

• If the compression silicone on the bottom of the juicing bowl is not plugged in correctly, the juice may seep out on to the maXtractor™ base. Before assembling the parts, check and make sure the compression silicone is plugged in correctly.

Is it possible to juice ingredients with

tough  ber?

• Ingredients like celery or ginger contain long  bers that may wrap around the UltraSqueezer™ and a ect the maXtractor™’s performance. When juicing  brous ingredients, do not collect more than 0.5 liter of juice. After collecting this quantity or less, clean the top-set completely before juicing again.

Discoloration of the plastic parts:

• After juicing, if the maXtractor™ is not cleaned right away, the remaining pulp inside the topset can dry up which can make disassembling and cleaning hard. This can also a ect the maXtractor™’s performance and color.

• Ingredients that are rich in carotenoids such as carrots and spinach may dye plastic parts. When this occurs, rub vegetable oil in to the dyed areas and use mild detergent to clean.

• Vegetable oil should only be used during cleanup for parts that are discolored. Do not use vegetable oil on the UltraSqueezer™ or the strainer. If vegetable oil or animal fat gets on the UltraSqueezer™ or the strainer, this can a ect the maXtractor™’s performance and may result in damaged parts.

• The silicone pieces on the top-set can be detached to be thoroughly cleaned.

Using for purposes other than juicing:

• This maXtractor™ is designed to juice ingredients like fruits and vegetables.

• Do not use the maXtractor™ for extracting vegetable oil.

• Do not juice ingredients with high contents of vegetable/ animal oil.

• If vegetable/animal oil gets on the UltraSqueezer™ or the strainer, this can a ect the performance of the maXtractor™ and could result in damaged parts.

PREPARACIÓN DE INGREDIENTES

Ingredientes con semillas pequeñas

(por ejemplo: frambuesas, uvas, granadas —pomegranate—):

Introduzca lentamente cada ingrediente que contenga semillas pequeñas para evitar que el colador se obstruya.

Introduzca lentamente cada ingrediente para disminuir la cantidad de semillas restantes en el colador.

CONSEJOS DE PREPARACIÓN:

• Cuando exprima ingredientes congelados, como frambuesas o fresas, asegúrese de que primero se hayan descongelado completamente.

• Lave los ingredientes, como uvas, detalladamente. Descarte su tallo.

• Al usar granadas, retire la cáscara y solamente exprima la parte interna.

CONSEJOS AL EXPRIMIR:

• Dependiendo del tamaño de las uvas, introduzca de 3 a 5 a la vez, mientras monitorea el proceso de extracción.

• Descongele los ingredientes, como granadas y frambuesas. Coloque aproximadamente 1 cucharada (5g) de estos ingredientes a la vez.

• Los ingredientes congelados usualmente pierden gran cantidad de líquido cuando se han descongelado. Cuando los exprima, mézclelos con leche o yogurt para reemplazar el líquido perdido.

Precaución: |

Si la tolva no se abre debido a la acumulación excesiva de semillas pequeñas en el tazón, deje el maXtractor™ encendido por 30 segundos más para que procese la semillas restantes. Si la tolva sigue atorada, presione el interruptor siguiendo los pasos de REVERSE–OFF-FORWARD las veces que sean necesarias hasta conseguir que los ingredientes se hayan desatorado. Luego gire la tolva, mientras la presiona con la palma de la mano, para abrirla (Dependiendo del tipo de ingrediente, vierta un poco de agua para enjuagar la tolva y así facilitar que se desobstruya).

Para obtener los mejores resultados, use ingredientes que contengan gran cantidad de líquido (manzanas y peras).

Ingredientes ﬁ brosos y/o de hojas duras

Cuando exprima ingredientes de hojas  brosas, como apio y col rizada (kale), no acumule más de 500 g a la vez. Para obtener los mejores resultados, desarme y lave la parte superior del maXtractor™ antes de volverlo a usar.

• Las  bras de los ingredientes duros, como el apio, pueden enrollarse en el UltraSqueezer™ y afectar el desempeño del maXtractor™. Corte los tallos duros y gruesos en pedazos de hasta

4 pulgadas (10 cm) de largo.

• Al procesar ingredientes  brosos, espuma puede acumularse. Use un colador para retirarla antes de servir.

• Al usar ingredientes como piña, retire la corteza y el centro  broso. Corte la parte carnosa en pedazos pequeños.

• La cantidad de jugo recomendada por cada sesión es 500g. Cuando vaya a exprimir más de 500g, lave la par te superior antes de continuar.

Si los ingredientes con hojas  brosas se llegasen a enrollar en el UltraSqueezer™, abra la tolva y retire estas  bras antes de seguir usando su maXtractor™.

Al exprimir estos ingredientes, se recomienda incluir también aquellos que posean grandes cantidades de líquido, como manzanas y zanahorias.

Como recomendación general, use 9 porciones de ingredientes con alto contenido de jugo por cada porción de ingredientes  brosos.

• Extraiga toda la pulpa que haya quedado en el tazón antes de apagar el aparato.

• Para facilitar la limpieza, siga usando el maXtractor™ durante por lo menos 30 segundos más, luego de que el jugo haya sido extraído.

• Si la tolva se llegara a atascar, presione el interruptor en este orden: REVERSE– OFF-FORWARD. Repita el mismo procedimiento de 2 a 3 veces hasta que los ingredientes se desatoren. Luego coloque sus manos sobre la parte inferior de la tolva y presione  rmemente hacia abajo, mientras la gira en dirección opuesta de las manecillas del reloj para abrirla.

• Cuando mueva el maXtractor™ de lugar, no lo levante agarrándolo desde la tolva. Siempre levántelo sujetándolo de su base o agarradera.

Retire el UltraSqueezer™, el colador y la unidad giratoria del tazón. Límpielos con el cepillo provisto.

• Limpie inmediatamente el maXtractor™ después cada uso. Si deja que residuos de jugo se sequen, puede dificultar la desarmada y limpieza. La acumulación de residuos disminuirá el desempeño del maXtractor™ en futuros usos.

• Para desarmar el aparato más fácilmente, coloque la parte superior en el fregadero y deje correr agua por cada una de sus piezas.

• Seque completamente la parte inferior del UltraSqueezer™, en donde se conecta con el cilindro de metal de la base.

Coloque el tazón bajo la llave de agua

y desconecte el tapón de silicona para limpiar el canal de expulsión de la pulpa.

Bajo la llave de agua, limpie la parte exterior del UltraSqueezer™ con una esponja para lavar platos. Use la punta del cepillo para retirar cualquier residuo que haya quedado entre las hendiduras de la base de la pieza.

• Limpie completamente el UltraSqueezer™ hasta asegurarse de que no tenga residuo alguno.

• Séquelo completamente antes de volverlo a usar.

• Luego de exprimir ingredientes que tengan semillas, asegúrese de limpiar detalladamente la hendidura de la base del UltraSqueezer™. Si esta parte no es debidamente limpiada, puede in uenciar en el desempeño entre el UltraSqueezer™ y el colador y dañar ambas partes.

Enjuague rápido

Con la tapa inteligente cerrada,

llene el tazón con agua y ponga a funcionar el maXtractor™.

Déjelo funcionar por un momento.

Abra la tapa inteligente y deje que el agua salga del tazón.

Gire la parte superior en dirección

contraria de las manecillas del reloj y retírela de la base.

• Remoje el tazón en una solución de agua caliente con bicarbonato de sodio o un poquito de cloro para remover el exceso de residuos acumulados.

• Si la toalla está demasiado mojada, escúrrala bien antes de usarla para limpiar el maXtractor™.

Consejo |

• No es necesario limpiar completamente el maXtractor™ cuando esté preparando varios tipos de jugos en una misma oportunidad.

• Cuando termine de exprimir, siempre desarme las partes y límpielas completamente hasta la próxima vez que las vaya a usar para prevenir que se acumulen residuos.

INSTRUCCIONES PARA LIMPIAR LAS PIEZAS DE SILICONA

Para limpiar la unidad giratoria, colóquela bajo la llave de agua. Luego de limpiarla, séquela completamente. Antes de ensamblar la parte superior,

asegúrese de que el tapón y el aro de silicona estén  rmemente insertados.

Si el tapón y el aro de silicona no son insertados  rmemente, el jugo pudiese gotear por la base del tazón.

Esta pieza facilita el trabajo de limpieza. Séquela completamente luego utilizarla.

Utilice el cepillo provisto para remover los residuos que hayan sido difíciles de limpiar, luego de utilizar esta pieza.

Cepillos de silicona

Retire los cepillos de silicona de la unidad giratoria para limpiarlos. Una vez que estén limpios, insértelos nuevamente en las ranuras con el extremo más largo apuntando hacia abajo, tal y como se muestra en esta grá ca.

Tapón de silicona

Destápelo para limpiar. Una vez que esté limpio, insértelo  rmemente en la ranura del canal de expulsión de la pulpa.

Aro de silicona

Retire el aro de silicona del tazón para limpiarlo. Una vez que esté limpio, insértelo nuevamente en el tazón con la super cie más pequeña hacia abajo.

Con una mano, sujete la pieza para limpiar y, con

la otra, inserte el colador en esta pieza.

Nota |

Inserte el colador en la pieza para limpiar hasta que escuche un “clic”.

Bajo la llave de agua, gire esta pieza y

el colador en direcciones opuestas para limpiarlos.

Enjuague completamente tanto la parte

interior como la parte exterior del colador bajo la llave de agua.

Tapa inte ligente

Retire la tapa inteligente y su tapón de silicona del canal de expulsión de la pulpa. Una vez que ambas partes estén limpias, ármelas y colóquelas en el canal de expulsión del jugo.

Una vez que esté limpio, retire el colador de

la pieza para limpiar. Séquelo bien antes de guardarlo.

SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS: PREGUNTAS Y RESPUESTAS

Cuando el maXtractor™ no tenga electricidad:

• Revise que el cable esté correctamente conectado.

• Revise que la tolva y el tazón estén correctamente ensamblados.

• Revise que la parte superior y la base estén correctamente ensamblados.

• El maXtractor™ no funcionará si las partes no están correctamente ensambladas.

Poca cantidad de jugo:

• Cada ingrediente contiene diferentes cantidades de líquido, que rendirán distintas cantidades de jugo.

• Si los ingredientes no están frescos, pudiesen contener poca cantidad de líquido, que dará como resultado menor cantidad de jugo.

• Veri que que el tapón de silicona esté  rmemente insertado.

• Si el ingrediente que está usando tiene poca cantidad de líquido, remojarlo en agua antes de exprimirlo pudiese ayudarle.

• Después de exprimir varias veces ingredientes con semillas pequeñas, la cantidad de jugo pudiese reducirse. Para los mejores resultados, desarme y lave la parte superior del maXtractor™ con cierta frecuencia mientras está exprimiendo.

• Si quedan residuos de semillas en el asiento del colador, puede afectar el desempeño y la cantidad  nal de jugo obtenido.

El jugo tiene mucha pulpa:

• Después de exprimir por un periodo largo, y dependiendo del ingrediente, el jugo pudiese contener una gran cantidad de pulpa delgada.

• Para reducir la pulpa delgada, limpie con frecuencia la parte superior de su maXtractor™ y retire la pulpa.

• Cuele el jugo con colador de malla para retirar el exceso de pulpa.

• Si el colador y el UltraSqueezer™ se han dañado y están afectando el desempeño del maXtractor™, se recomienda reemplazar estas partes. *La duración de cada parte puede

depender del método y el tiempo de uso al extraer cada alimento.

• Si demasiados ingredientes son colocados al mismo tiempo, pueden ocasionar que el maXtractor™ se detenga con frecuencia. Esto puede tener como consecuencia un jugo con mucha pulpa. Coloque los ingredientes lentamente y, uno a la vez.

La tolva no quiere cerrar:

• Asegúrese de que el UltraSqueezer™ esté completamente introducido en el colador.

El maXtractor™ está haciendo un ruido extraño:

• Revise que todas las partes estén correctamente ensambladas. Separe las partes y vuélvalas a armar para ver si el sonido desaparece.

• No use el maXtractor™ sin ingredientes o líquidos.

• Usar el maXtractor™ sin ingredientes o líquido, puede dañar el UltraSqueezer™.

• El sonido de fricción entre el UltraSqueezer™ y el colador se detendrá cuando se agreguen ingredientes al maXtractor™.

• Si el ruido ocurre cuando los ingredientes estén siendo procesados, revise el tamaño de los mismos. No introduzca pedazos que sean más gruesos de 1 pulgada (2.5 cm).

• Dependiendo de la clase de ingredientes que esté usando, los pedazos pueden ser más pequeños.

• Este ruido puede ocurrir si el maXtractor™ está siendo usado sobre una super cie desnivelada. Colóquelo siempre sobre una super cie plana al usarlo.

La pulpa extraída contiene demasiado líquido:

• Al comenzar a exprimir, la pulpa puede contener mucho líquido.

• Dependiendo de la condición del ingrediente, especialmente si no es fresco, el jugo exprimido puede adherirse a la pulpa. Seleccione ingredientes frescos.

El tazón tiembla mientras está siendo usado:

• El UltraSqueezer™ y el colador están diseñados para exprimir los ingredientes. Es normal que ambas partes vibren.

• Si el ingrediente que está usando contiene  bra dura, la vibración de la parte superior del maXtractor™ puede ser aún más intensa.

•

El maXtractor™ dejó de funcionar, mientras se

estaba usando:

• Revise que el cable esté bien conectado.

• Revise que todas las partes estén debidamente instaladas.

• Si se agregan demasiados ingredientes a la vez, esto hará que el maXtractor™ deje de funcionar.

• Si el maXtractor™ se detiene porque tiene demasiados ingredientes adentro, presione el interruptor en este orden: REVERSE–OFFFORWARD. Repita el mismo procedimiento de 2 a 3 veces.

• La opción REVERSE empujará los ingredientes hacia arriba, y la de FORWARD hacia abajo.

• Si el maXtractor™ se detiene debido a su mecanismo de protección por uso excesivo, déjelo reposar de 30 minutos a 2 horas antes de usarlo nuevamente.

• Si los ingredientes contienen semillas duras, retírelas antes de exprimir, ya que estas pueden dañar el maXtractor™.

•

El jugo muestra capas separadas:

• Dependiendo de la densidad de los ingredientes, el jugo exprimido pudiese mostrar distintas capas. Esta separación es diferente a la originada por la oxidación que producen los extractores de alta velocidad.

La tolva está atorada:

• Una vez haya terminado de procesar los ingredientes, deje que el maXtractor™ funcione por 30 segundos adicionales para que toda la pulpa se exprima.

• La tolva puede atorarse si hay demasiada pulpa en la parte superior. Si esto llegara a suceder, presione el interruptor en este orden: REVERSE–OFF-FORWARD. Repita el mismo procedimiento de 2 a 3 veces.

• Vierta agua por la tolva para remojar las partes internas y luego intente abrirla.

Hay jugo goteando por la base:

• Si el tapón de silicona, ubicado en la base del tazón, no está correctamente insertado, el jugo puede derramarse hacia la base. Antes de instalar las partes, asegúrese que el tapón de silicona esté insertado correctamente.

¿Es posible exprimir ingredientes que tengan

 bra dura?

• Ingredientes como el apio o el jengibre contienen  bras alargadas que pueden enrollarse en el UltraSqueezer™ y afectar el desempeño del maXtractor™. Cuando exprima ingredientes  brosos, no acumule más de

0.5 litro de jugo. Una vez que obtenga esta cantidad o menos, limpie completamente la parte superior antes de usar el maXtractor™ nuevamente.

Descoloración de las partes plásticas:

• Si el maXtractor™ no se limpia inmediatamente después de ser utilizado, la pulpa que quede adentro de la parte superior puede secarse y hacer difícil tanto desarmarlo, como limpiarlo. Esto también puede afectar el desempeño y color del producto.

• Los ingredientes ricos en carotenoides, como las zanahorias y la espinaca, pudiesen teñir las partes plásticas. Si esto sucede, restriegue la parte teñida con aceite vegetal y use un detergente suave para lavarla.

• El aceite vegetal solamente debe ser usado para limpiar las partes que se han teñido. No lo use en el UltraSqueezer™ ni en el colador. Si estas partes llegan a tener contacto con grasa vegetal o animal, pueden dañarse e incluso afectar el desempeño del producto.

• Las piezas de silicona de la parte superior del maXtractor™ pueden ser removidas para limpiarlas completamente.

Usar el maXtractor™ para otros  nes que no

sean exprimir jugo:

• El maXtractor™ está diseñado para exprimir el jugo de ingredientes como frutas y verduras.

• No debe ser usado para extraer aceite vegetal.

• No exprima ingredientes que tengan grandes cantidades de grasa vegetal o animal.

• Si grasa vegetal o animal llegase a tener contacto con el UltraSqueezer™ o el colador, pueden dañarse e incluso afectar el desempeño del producto.
