Look on your vacuum cleaner and
follow all label and marking instructions.
Electric shock could occur if used
outdoors or on wet surfaces.
Do not let children play with the vacuum cleaner. Watch closely when the vacuum cleaner is used by or near children.
Do not use the vacuum cleaner to pick up flammable or combustible liquids or fumes, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
Keep the vacuum cleaner on the floor. Only the hand-held vacuum cleaners may be set on furniture.

shut any door on the cord or pull the cord around sharp edges or corners. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. Do not run the vacuum cleaner over the cord.
Do not use vacuum cleaner with damaged cord or plug. Do not use vacuum cleaner if working improperly, dropped, damaged, left outdoors or dropped in water. First, send to service center for check and repair.
Store the vacuum cleaner indoors. Put the vacuum cleaner away after use to prevent tripping accidents.
Do not pull on the cord to unplug the vacuum cleaner. Grasp the plug instead.
Be most careful when vacuum cleaning on stairs.

The power selector controls the speed of the motor and suction power. The cleaning power increases as the slide is moved from Position 1 to Position 10. (Models 4700, 4750)

USING

ATTACH THE ELECTRIFIED HOSE
Insert the slotted connector end of the hose into the front end bell. Twist clockwise to lock securely. Insert the plug into the outlet on the top of the
tool caddy. (Refer to

SELECT THE ATTACHMENT
Determine what vacuuming you will be doing, then insert the desired tool into the pistol grip or wand.

PLUG IN THE TANK AND TURN ON
Plug the power cord into your most convenient wall outlet. The 60 foot cord radius allows you to clean without constantly replugging.

Cleans all hard-to-reach places including deep furniture crevices, button cushions, bookcases, baseboard corners, and automobile upholstery. It's also easier to clean behind ranges and refrigerators.

Attach upper wand to lower wand by depressing the pin at top of the lower wand. Slide the upper wand over the lower wand. Pin will lock into hole. Snap
the cord (located at the rear of nozzle) into the cord anchors on the wands; the cord should follow the rear contour of the wands.
Line up slots in the 3-slot connector to the cleaner front-end bell such that the electrical plug is on the top of the electrified hose, push the 3-slot connector in and twist clockwise. Attach electrical plug to the receptacle under the front of the chrome plated steel handle. Snap the upper wand into the adapter at the end nozzle into the receptacle in the cuff of the electrified hose.

TO REPLACE A WORN BELT:
(Model cover by removing the two screws. Grasp both sides of the top and flex­outwards to release side tabs. Tilt cover forward until front tabs snap free.
Insert and twist a screwdriver between each brush support and base to free brush assembly. Remove belt. Clean brush bearings (remove any lint or string build up). Place new belt over brush assembly and snap brush assembly into
the supports. Slip belt over the motor shaft. Reassemble top cover and
replace screws.
(Model top cover by removing the four screws marked "to remove top". Also, remove the two screws marked "to remove bottom plate". Then remove the top cover and slip the old belt off the motor shaft and remove the revolving brush assembly from the two brush clips. Discard the old belt. Place the new belt over the brush assembly and snap the brush into its clips. Slip the new belt over the motor shaft and replace top cover and bottom plate.

(Model top cover by removing the four screws on the bottom plate marked "to remove top" and remove the top cover. Remove light bulb by pushing the light into the socket and twisting counterclockwise. To install the new bulb, line up the studs on the light bulb and the slots on the socket and twist clockwise.

ENLEVEMENT ET REMPLACEMENT

Debranchez I'aspirateur avant I'entretien.
Placez I'aspirateur sur une extremite, avec I'evacuation d'air (couvercle arriere) au
sol. Saisissez les verrous du couvercle a deux mains. En maintenant les mains vers
I'arriere des verrous, tirez vers I'exterieur. Saisissez le couvercle avant (il est possible de laisser le tuyau raccorde), tirez
doucement vers I'exterieur. Faites attention de ne pas repandre la poussiere. Retirez
le sac en papier et jetez le.

Le sac en tissus dans I'aspirateur ne doit pas toujours 6tre enleve pour 6tre nettoye. S'il est necessaire de le nettoyer, enlevez le sac et secouez-en la poussiere dans la poubelle.

Replacez un nouveau sac en papier. Mettez le trou du sac sur le raccord metallique a I'interieur du couvercle avant.

Replacez le couvercle avant sur I'aspirateur en glissant le sac en papier dans le reservoir. La plaque chromee doit glisser sur les ar6tes du reservoir. Maintenez en place et resserrez les verrous du couvercle des deux "claquer" lorsqu'ils seront proprement mis en place.

Remettez votre aspirateur en service normal.

Ne vous preoccupez pas si le sac filtre en papier ne se vide pas quand vous utilisez I'aspirateur en soufflante. Le systeme de filtration MICROFRESHMC de votre aspirateur emprisonne la poussiere et ne lui permet pas de circuler lors de cet usage.
Lorsque vous avez fini d'utiliser I'aspirateur RoyalMD en soufflante, debranchez le et reconnectez le tuyau au couvercle avant pour aspiration.
Debrancher I'aspirateur avant de changer la connexion du tuyau.
Raccordez tout simplement le tuyau a I'extremite arriere de I'aspirateur plut6t
