2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• For your safety, this appliance complies with the applicable standards
and regulations (Low Voltage Directive, Electromagnetic Compatibility,
Environmental…).

• The appliance’s accessories become very hot during use. Avoid con­tact with the skin. Make sure that the supply cord never comes into
contact with the hot parts of the appliance.

• Check that the voltage of your electricity supply matches the voltage
of your appliance.
Any error when connecting the appliance can cause irreparable
harm, not covered by the guarantee.

• As an additional safety measure, we recommend the installation of
a residual current difference device in the electrical circuit supplying
the bathroom,acting at not more than 30 mA.Ask your installer for
advice.

• The installation of the appliance and its use must however comply

with the standards in force in your country.

• Caution : Never use your appliance with wet hands or near

water contained in bath tubs, showers, sinks or other contai­ners…

• When using the appliance in the bathroom, unplug it after use as the
presence of water nearby may pose a danger even when the appliance
is turned off.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including chil­dren) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervi­sion or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person re­sponsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufac­turer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to
avoid a hazard.

• Stop using your appliance and contact an Authorised Service Centre
if:

- your appliance has fallen.

- it does not work correctly.

• The appliance must be unplugged:

- before cleaning and maintenance procedures.

- if it is not working correctly.

- as soon as you have finished using it.

- if you leave the room, even momentarily.

• Do not use if the cord is damaged.

• Do not immerse or put under running water, even for cleaning pur­poses.

• Do not hold with damp hands.

• Do not hold the appliance by the casing, which is hot, but by the
handle.

• Do not unplug by pulling on the cord, rather pull out by the plug.

• Do not use an electrical extension lead.

• Do not clean with abrasive or corrosive products.

• Do not use at temperatures below 0°C and above 35°C.

the manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the guarantee will not apply.

3. USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

Your appliance gets warm very quickly (only 60 seconds) and the
temperature remains stable throughout use:

- Plug the device in.

- Press the on/off switch for 2 seconds (fig. 1B).

- Wait for 60 seconds, the appliance is ready to be used in the
minimum temperature position (120°C) (fig. 2).

For reasons of comfort, we recommend that you hold the appliance
in the middle, close to the buttons.

- Select the ideal temperature for your hair using the – / + buttons
(fig. 1C): press the – button to reduce the temperature or the +
button to increase it. The digital display (fig. 1D) indicates the
selected temperature. As soon as the device reaches the required
temperature, the display stops flashing.

- Determined the appliance off, press the on/off switch for 2 seconds
(fig. 1B).

- After use, unplug the appliance and leave it to cool down
completely before putting it away.

PLEASE NOTE: the appliance turns off automatically after around
40 minutes of operation.

4. USE

Your hair must be untangled, clean and dry (or slightly damp).

• Do not use the appliance on synthetic hair (wigs, extensions, etc.).

• Form a small lock of hair a few centimetres wide, comb it and
place it between the plates. Squeeze the hair firmly between the
plates (fig. 1E) and slide the appliance slowly downwards from the
root to the tip of the hair (fig. 3, 4, 5).

• If your hair is very thick or curly, you can improve results by
spraying water on the locks before straightening.

• The ceramic coating of the plates protects your hair against
excessive temperatures, by distributing the heat in a uniform
manner.

• Wait until your straightened hair has cooled down before styling it
(fig. 6).

HAIRDRESSER'S TIP

• Always start by the hair at the top: work around your nape first, then the
sides then the front.

• To avoid a stripy effect along the length of your hair, ensure your
movements are supple and continuous.

• To emphasise the effect, you can use a hair styling foam before
straightening.

5. MAINTENANCE

WARNING: Always remove the plug and leave the appliance
to cool down on a heat-resistant, flat, stable surface before
cleaning.

• Never immerse your appliance in water.

• To clean your appliance: unplug it, wipe down with a damp cloth
and dry using a dry cloth.

6. ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION FIRST!

 Your appliance contains valuable materials which can be

recovered or recycled.

 Leave it at a local civic waste collection point.

33.. 제제품품 작작동동 방방법법
본 제품은 빨리 뜨거워집니다. 한번 제품의 온도가 올라간 후에는 사용하는
동안 온도가 유지됩니다.

- 제품의 전원 플러그를 꽂으십시오.

- 2초 동안 전원버튼을 누르십시오. (그림. 1B)

- 1분 정도 지나면 적절한 온도(120℃)로 제품 사용 준비가

완료되었습니다.

편한 사용을 위해서 버튼 가까이의 손잡이를 잡으십시오

- 온도 조절 버튼(그림 1C)을 +/-로 조절하여 적절한 온도로 맞추어

주십시오.
: 온도를 낮추기 위해서는 –버튼을 누르고 온도를 높이기 위해서는

+버튼을 누르십시오.
디지털 디스플레이 창(그림. 1D)을 통해 지정한 온도를 확인할 수

있습니다.

- 제품을 끄기 위해서는 제품의 전원 스위치를 2초 정도 누르십시오.
(그림. 1B)

- 제품을 사용한후에는 반드시 전원 플러그를 뽑고 제품이 완전히 식은
후 보관하십시오.

주의: 제품을 작동한지 40분 후에는 안전을 위해 자동으로 전원을
차단합니다.

제품의 안전한 사용을 위해 깨끗하고 건조된 상태(또는 약간 젖은 상태)의
모발로 엉키지 않은 상태이어야 합니다.
▪ 제품을 인조 모발에 사용하지 마십시오. (가발, 연장 머리 등)
▪ 적당량 모발 한단을 잡은 후 고르게 빗어 열판 사이에 넣어 주십시오.

발열판 사이에 있는 모발을 단단히 잡은 후(그림. 1E) 천천히 모발의 뿌리
부분부터 끝까지 당겨주십시오. (그림. 3, 4, 5)

▪ 모발이 두껍거나 곱슬 인 경우, 효과적인 스타일링을 위해 제품 사용 전

모발을 촉촉하게 하십시오.

▪ 세라믹 코팅 발열판은 열의 분배를 균일하게 하여, 과다한 열로부터

모발을 보호합니다.

▪ 모발이 식을 때까지 기다렸다가 원하시는 머리 스타일로 스타일링

하십시오. (그림. 6)

주의: 항상 제품의 플러그를 뽑고, 제품이 식은 후 닦아주십시오.
▪ 제품을 절대 물에 담그지 마십시오.
▪ 전원 플러그를 뽑은 후, 제품의 열기를 식혀 주십시오. 젖은 천으로

제품을 닦은 후, 마른 천으로 물기를 제거하십시오.
