JEEP JK REAR COIL CLAMP KIT

In addition to these instructions, professional knowledge of disassemble/reassembly procedures as well as post installation checks must be known. Attempts to install this system without this knowledge and expertise may jeopardize the
integrity and/or operating safety of the vehicle.
PRODUCT USE INFORMATION
This kit is used to clamp the rear coil to the axle to ensure the coil spring stays seated in the lower mount under heavy articulation.

These instructions should be kept in the vehicle for its service.
Tools Needed:
3/4” Socket & Wrench
Retainer (2)
Flag Nut (2)
Kit Contents:
Poly Bag (1)
1-Poly Bag Containing:
1/2” x 1 1/2 Bolts (2)
1/2” Flat Washer (2)
1/2” Flat Washer (2)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Install the coil retainer in the coil as shown in Photo 1.
2. Install the lower seat flag nut from the front of the axle as shown in Photo 2.

3. Secure in place with the supplied 1/2” x 1 1/2” bolts, flat washers and lock washers from the top through the coil retainer in coil seat. See Photo 3. Tighten using a 3/4”
wrench.

Also available for the rear of the JK Jeep is a Rear Coil Shim kit to straighten the coils on 4”-6” kits. Part # 1113.
POST INSTALLATION
• Check all fasteners for proper torque. Re-torque all fasteners after 500 miles an d recheck after 1000 miles.
