Eine Garantieleistung entfällt für Schäden an Verschleissteilen, für Schäden und Mängel, die durch unsachgemässe Behandlung oder Wartung auftreten (insbesondere Verkalkung und gewerblicher Einsatz [max. 5000 Bezüge innerhalb der Garantiezeit]). Sie wird nur gewährt, wenn entweder die Garantiekarte mit Kaufdatum, Händlerstempel und Unterschrift versehen oder die Kaufquittung mit dem Gerät an die zutreffende Servicestation eingesandt wird (siehe Adresse unten). If this coffee machine is used correctly, we will repair defects that arise during the guarantee period at no charge. We will remedy all defects which are related to material of manufacturing errors. We reserve the right to repair or exchange defective parts at our discretion under this guarantee. This guarantee does not apply to damages through wear and tear or for damages or defects which result from incorrect handling or maintenance (in particular, through calciﬁ cation or commercial use [max. 5000 cups during guarantee period]). Guarantee work will only be carried out if either a guarantee card showing the purchase date, dealer stamp and signature or the purchase receipt is included when the coffee machine is returned to the appropriate service station (see address below). Return shipments should be made in the original packaging; shipping costs are borne by the buyer. Please include your return address and a brief explanation of the problem when you make a shipment.

1. Sicherheitshinweise

• Dieses Gerät ist dazu bestimmt, im Haushalt und für ähnliche Anwendungen verwendet zu werden, wie beispielsweise in Küchen für Mitarbeiter, in Läden, Büros und anderen gewerblichen Bereichen; in landwirtschaftlichen Anwesen; von Kunden in Hotels, Motels und anderen Wohneinrichtungen; in Frühstückspensionen.

•

Nur an Wechselstrom mit Spannung gemäss Typenschild anschliessen.

• Gerät und Zuleitung nur benützen, wenn sie keine Beschädigungen aufweisen.

• Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine ebene, standfeste Oberfläche und benützen Sie es nur in Innenräumen.

• Gerät nie auf heisse Oberflächen oder in der Nähe von offenen Flammen abstellen.

• Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt werden oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.

Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind 8 Jahre oder älter und werden beaufsichtigt.

• Das Gerät und seine Anschlussleitung ist von Kindern jünger als 8 Jahre fernzuhalten.

• Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

• Bei längerer Abwesenheit über mehrere Tage immer den Netzstecker ziehen.

• Das Gerät nie in Wasser tauchen.

Reinigen Sie das Gerät oder einzelne Geräteteile nie im Geschirrspüler.

• Beachten Sie unbedingt die Reinigungs- und Entkalkungshinweise! Bei Nichtbeachtung entfallen die Garantieansprüche.

• Bei einem Defekt sofort den Netzstecker ziehen (nie an der Zuleitung oder am Gerät selbst zerren).

• Wenn die Netzanschlussleitung dieses Gerätes beschädigt wird, muss sie durch den Hersteller oder seinen Kundendienst oder eine ähnlich qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

• Bei falscher Bedienung, unsachgemässem Gebrauch oder nicht fachgerechten Reparaturen wird keine Haftung für eventuelle Schäden übernommen. Garantieleistungen sind in solchen Fällen ausgeschlossen.

Achtung:

Die Betätigung des Ein- / Aus-Schalters (10) während des Brühvorganges kann das Gerät beschädigen! Schalten Sie erst ab, wenn sich der Apparat im Ruhezustand befindet!

VERBRENNUNGSGEFAHR!

• Beim Bezug von Dampf oder Heisswasser kann es vorkommen, dass es am Anfang aus der Düse (7) spritzt: Verbrennungsgefahr!

• Die Dampfdüse (7) nur am schwarzen Kunststoffteil anfassen und niemals auf Personen richten!

• Die Düse (7) wird während des Gebrauchs SEHR HEISS. Lassen Sie die Düse für einige Minuten abkühlen, bevor Sie sie anfassen.

2. Inbetriebnahme

2.1 Vorbereitung des Gerätes

• Nehmen Sie das Gerät und alle zugehörigen Teile vorsichtig aus der Verpackung.

☛

Das Gerät kann für einen allfälligen Service in der Originalverpackung beden-

kenlos per Post spediert werden. Bewahren Sie die Verpackung deshalb auf.

• Entfernen Sie den Wassertank (11) und spülen Sie ihn mit kaltem, klarem Leitungswasser aus.

• Füllen Sie anschliessend den Tank bis zur max. Markierung und setzen Sie ihn in das Gerät ein. Achten Sie darauf, dass er beim Einsetzen gut einrastet.

☛

Füllen Sie immer nur klares, kaltes Wasser in den Tank, nie kohlensäurehal-

tiges Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.

• Öffnen Sie den Deckel zum Bohnenbehälter (12) und füllen Sie die Kaffeebohnen ein.

☛

Verwenden Sie keine Bohnen, die während oder nach der Röstung mit Zusät-

zen wie Zucker o.ä. behandelt wurden. Dies kann zur Beschädigung des Mahlwerkes führen und die daraus entstehenden Reparaturkosten sind nicht in der Garantieleistung inbegriffen.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass der Dampf- / Heisswasser-Drehknopf (6) auf 0 steht.

2.2 In Betrieb nehmen

• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus dem Kabelfach (14) und schliessen Sie ihn an.

• Schalten Sie den Netzschalter (10) ein.

• Im Display blinken 5 rote Balken.

• Nachdem das Gerät aufgeheizt hat, erscheint im Display das Symbol

• Drücken Sie die Dampf- / Spül-Taste (5), und das System wird über den Kaffeeauslauf (8) gespült.

• Im Display wird die Kaffeestärke durch Blinken der Bohnen-Symbole angezeigt.

• Drücken Sie die Aroma-Taste (3) zur Bestätigung oder zur Veränderung der AromaStärke (Anzahl Bohnen verändert sich. Siehe Kapitel 3.2).

• Das Gerät ist jetzt betriebsbereit.

TIPP:

Halten Sie ein Gefäss unter den Auslauf, um das Wasser aufzufangen.

System füllen Werkbedingt kann es bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme eventuell vorkommen, dass

die Leitungen im Gerät noch nicht mit Wasser gefüllt sind. Das Gerät würde dies wie folgt anzeigen:

• Nachdem das Gerät mit der Ein- / Aus-Taste (10) eingeschaltet ist, leuchtet das Symbol .

• Öffnen Sie den Dampf- / Heisswasser-Drehknopf (6) nach rechts. Das System wird jetzt aufgefüllt, und es kann Wasser aus dem Auslauf (8) und aus der Düse (7) austreten.

• Sobald der Füllvorgang automatisch gestoppt hat, können Sie den Drehknopf (6) wieder nach links zudrehen.

• Das Symbol leuchtet.

• Verfahren Sie anschliessend, wie vorangegangen unter «2.2 In Betrieb nehmen» beschrieben wird.

• Das Gerät ist jetzt betriebsbereit.

2.3 Mahlgrad einstellen

Achtung:

Der Mahlgrad darf nur bei laufendem Mahlwerk verstellt werden. Je nach Röstung Ihrer Kaffeebohnen können Sie das Mahlwerk entsprechend anpas-

sen. Wir empfehlen Ihnen aber, das Mahlwerk immer auf einer mittleren Einstellung zu belassen.

• Schieben Sie den Regler (20) bei laufendem Mahlwerk in die gewünschte Position. Je kleiner der Punkt, desto feiner das Kaffeepulver. Dabei gilt:

– Helle Röstung braucht eine feine Einstellung – Dunkle Röstung braucht eine gröbere Einstellung

3. Zubereitung

Hinweise:

Werkmässig ist das Gerät so eingestellt, dass Sie sofort den ersten Kaffee

beziehen können. Wir empfehlen Ihnen aber, die wichtigsten Grundeinstellungen gemäss Ihren Bedürfnissen zu programmieren. Führen Sie deshalb zuerst die im Kapitel «4. Programmierungen» erläuterten Schritte für die Wasserhärte- und Temperatureinstellung aus.

Bei der ersten Benutzung oder wenn das Gerät längere Zeit nicht in Betrieb

war, hat der erste Kaffee noch nicht das volle Aroma und sollte nicht getrunken werden.

3.1 Wassermenge wählen

Mit dem Wassermengen-Drehknopf (2) können Sie die Flüssigkeitsmenge anhand der Skala stufenlos dosieren (kleine Tasse links unten für wenig Wasser, grosse Tasse rechts unten für viel Wasser).

• Die Wassermenge kann während des laufenden Prozesses verändert werden.

3.2 Kaffeestärke wählen

Je nach Geschmack kann die Kaffeestärke auf drei Stufen eingestellt werden: = mild, ca. 7 g Kaffeepulver (z.B. Milchkaffee, Cappuccino)

= normal, ca. 9 g Kaffeepulver (z.B. Café Crème)

= stark, ca. 11 g Kaffeepulver (z.B. Espresso, Kaffee stark)

• Sobald das Gerät betriebsbereit ist, zeigt das Display die werkseitige Einstellung .

• Sie können dies ändern, indem Sie die Aroma-Taste (3) so oft drücken, bis die gewünschte Kaffeestärke im Display angezeigt wird.

3.3 Bezug von einer Tasse

• Stellen Sie Ihre vorgewärmte Tasse unter den Kaffeeauslauf (8).

Der Kaffeeauslauf ist höhenverstellbar und kann genau der entsprechenden

Grösse der Tasse angepasst werden.

• Stellen Sie die gewünschte Wassermenge ein.

•

Drücken Sie die Aroma-Taste (3) so oft, bis die gewünschte Kaffeestärke angezeigt wird.

• Drücken Sie kurz die Kaffee-Taste (4).

• Das Gerät beginnt jetzt mit dem Brühvorgang.

Der Vorgang kann jederzeit durch Drücken der Kaffee-Taste (4) abgebrochen

werden.

Achtung:

Wenn Sie das erste Mal einen Kaffee zubereiten, ist die Mahlkammer noch leer. Es kann vorkommen, dass nach der ersten Mahlung das Symbol für «Bohnen fehlen»

anfängt zu blinken und das Gerät keinen Kaffee macht. Drücken Sie in die-

sem Fall einfach noch einmal die Kaffee-Taste (4), und der Vorgang wird wiederholt.

TIPP:

Damit Sie sich besser merken können, wie viel Wasser für Ihren Geschmack oder Ihre Tassengrösse ideal ist, gehen Sie beim ersten Kaffeebezug wie folgt vor:

• Drehen Sie den Wassermengen-Drehknopf (2) auf folgende Positionen:

– bei einer Espresso-Tasse auf die Mitte der Skala – bei einer grossen Tasse ganz nach rechts

• Drücken Sie die Kaffee-Taste (4).

• Die Maschine beginnt mit der Kaffeezubereitung.

• Kurz bevor die gewünschte Kaffeemenge erreicht ist, drehen Sie den Wassermengen-Drehknopf (2) langsam nach links, bis die Maschine aufhört zu arbeiten.

• Merken Sie sich für künftige Brühvorgänge die Position, auf die der Wassermengen-Drehknopf (2) jetzt zeigt.

3.4 Bezug von zwei Tassen

Beim 2-Tassen-Betrieb werden automatisch zwei Mahlungen nacheinander gemacht.

• Stellen Sie beide Tassen unter den Kaffeeauslauf (8).

• Stellen Sie die gewünschte Wassermenge und Kaffeestärke für eine Tasse ein.

• Drücken Sie die Kaffee-Taste (4) zweimal hintereinander.

• Das Gerät beginnt jetzt mit dem Brühvorgang und macht zwei Kaffees in Folge.

Der Vorgang kann jederzeit durch Drücken der Kaffee-Taste (4) abgebrochen

werden.

☛

Sollte es passieren, dass genau zwischen den zwei Mahlungen kein Wasser

oder keine Bohnen mehr vorhanden sind oder die Schalen geleert werden müssen, wird dies angezeigt, und der zweite Kaffee wird nicht mehr gemacht. Befolgen Sie die Anzeige und drücken Sie danach für den zweiten Kaffee nochmals die Kaffee-Taste (4).

• Drehen Sie zuerst den Wassermengen-Drehknopf (2) auf die gewünschte Wassermenge für eine Tasse.

•

Öffnen Sie die Klappe zum Kaffeepulverschacht (13). Das Symbol blinkt.

• Füllen Sie einen gestrichenen Dosierlöffel (16) Kaffeepulver ein und schliessen Sie den Deckel wieder. Das Symbol leuchtet konstant.

• Stellen Sie die Tasse unter den Kaffeeauslauf (8) und drücken Sie die Kaffee-Taste(4).

Sollten Sie den Pulverschacht aus Versehen geöffnet haben oder wird keine

Bezugstaste gedrückt, nachdem Pulver eingefüllt wurde, wird das System automatisch eine Minute nachdem der Deckel wieder geschlossen wurde gespült und ist dann wieder betriebsbereit.

Achtung:

Der Einfüllschacht ist kein Vorratsbehälter. Füllen Sie deshalb nie mehr als eine Portion in den Schacht und verwenden Sie nur frisches oder vakuumverpacktes Pulver von gemahlenen Bohnen. Wasserlöslicher Instant-Kaffee darf nicht verwendet werden.

3.6 Bezug von Heisswasser

• Stellen Sie eine Tasse unter die Düse (7).

• Drehen Sie den Dampf- / Heisswasser-Drehknopf (6) nach rechts.

• Füllen Sie die Tasse, bis die gewünschte Menge erreicht ist, und drehen Sie dann den Drehknopf (6) wieder auf 0.

Es kann während ca. 2 Min. Heisswasser bezogen werden. Dann schaltet das

Gerät den Vorgang automatisch ab. Durch Vor- und Zurückdrehen des Drehknopfes (6) wird der Vorgang fortgesetzt.

Achtung, Verbrennungsgefahr: Das auslaufende Wasser kann umhersprit-

zen! Die Düse (7) wird während des Gebrauchs sehr heiss. Lassen Sie die Düse für einige Minuten abkühlen, bevor Sie sie anfassen.

3.7 Bezug von Dampf / Milch aufschäumen (nur Model U27.30)

• Drücken Sie die Dampf- / Spül-Taste (5). Die 5 Balken blinken.

• Sobald das System bereit ist, leuchtet das Symbol .

• Tauchen Sie die Düse (7) in die Tasse mit der zu erwärmenden Flüssigkeit.

• Drehen Sie jetzt den Dampf- / Heisswasser-Drehknopf (6) nach rechts. Vorsicht: Zuerst tritt etwas Wasser aus, und erst dann kommt Dampf.

• Durch Zurückdrehen des Drehknopfes (6) auf 0 wird der Vorgang beendet.

• Drücken Sie die Dampf- / Spül-Taste (5), und das Gerät schaltet wieder auf normalen Kaffeebetrieb zurück.

Es kann während ca. 2 Min. Dampf bezogen werden. Dann schaltet das

Gerät den Vorgang automatisch ab. Durch Vor- und Zurückdrehen des Drehknopfes (6) wird der Vorgang fortgesetzt.

Achtung, Verbrennungsgefahr: Der austretende Dampf ist sehr heiss! Fas-

sen Sie die Düse nur am schwarzen Plastikteil an!

Tipp:

Getrocknete Rückstände an der Düse nach dem Aufschäumen von Milch sind schwer zu entfernen, deshalb sofort nach dem Abkühlen alles gut reinigen.

3.8 Milch aufschäumen / Heisse Milch mit Cappuccinatore (nur Model U27.32)

Mit der speziellen Aufschäumhilfe «Cappuccinatore» (7a) können Sie Milch direkt aus der Tüte oder aus einem Gefäss erhitzen und in die Tasse aufschäumen.

• Montieren Sie den Schlauch an die Heisswasserdüse (7a).

• Tauchen Sie den Schlauch (A) in das Gefäss mit der Milch und stellen Sie die Tasse unter die Düse (7).

• Drücken Sie die Dampf- / Spül-Taste (5). Die 5 Balken blinken.

• Sobald das System bereit ist, leuchtet das Symbol

• Drehen Sie den Dampf- / Heisswasser-Drehknopf (6) langsam nach rechts.

• Die Milch wird angesaugt, aufgeschäumt und heiss in die Tasse geleitet.

• Beenden Sie den Vorgang, indem Sie den Drehknopf (6) auf 0 drehen.

• Drücken Sie die Dampf- / Spül-Taste (5), und das Gerät schaltet wieder auf normalen Kaffeebetrieb zurück.

Tipp:

• Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang wie oben beschrieben, aber benützen Sie Wasser anstatt Milch.

• Beziehen Sie so lange, Wasser bis dieses nur noch sauber und ohne Milchrückstände aus der Düse (7) austritt.

Achtung:

Von Zeit zu Zeit muss der Cappuccinatore zur optimalen Reinigung komplett in seine Einzelteile (B) demontiert und dann unter klarem Wasser gespült werden.

4. Programmierungen

Für die Programmierungen werden folgende Tasten verwendet:

Maschine automatisch in den Kaffee-Bereit-Modus zurück.

4.1 Filter

Für alle unsere Kaffee-Vollautomaten können Sie bei uns für den Wassertank einen Spezialfilter beziehen. Bei richtigem Gebrauch dieses Filters müssen Sie Ihre Kaffeemaschine weniger oft entkalken. Damit das Gerät erkennt, dass der Filter eingesetzt ist, müssen Sie die Filtereinstellung auf «Ja» programmieren. Die werkseitige Grundeinstellung ist ohne Filter.

Wenn Sie den Filter für Ihre Maschine verwenden und das System auf «Ja»

programmiert haben, wird die Programmierung für Wasserhärte automatisch auf Stufe 1 gestellt.

☛

Nach dem Bezug von ca. 50 l Wasser ist die Wirkung des Filters erschöpft. Das

Display zeigt Ihnen mit dem Symbol an, wenn der Filter gewechselt werden muss (siehe Kapitel 5.1).

☛

Wichtig: Auch wenn das Display nichts anzeigt, muss bei wenigen Bezügen

der Filter nach spätestens zwei Monaten gewechselt werden.

Apparat mit Filter betreiben:

• Entleeren Sie den Wassertank (11) und schrauben Sie den Filter mit der beiliegenden Montagehilfe (17) in die dafür vorgesehene Halterung (18) ein.

• Stellen Sie an dem Datumsring (Monate) am oberen Ende der Filterpatrone das Einsetz- und Auswechseldatum ein.

• Füllen Sie den Tank mit frischem Wasser und setzen Sie ihn wieder in die Maschine ein.

• Um in das Menü der Grundeinstellungen zu gelangen, halten Sie die Dampf- / SpülTaste (5) mehr als 3 Sek. gedrückt, bis das Symbol und 3 Balken leuchten.

• Drücken Sie die Kaffee-Taste (4) so viele Male, bis das Symbol links neben dem Symbol erscheint.

• Drücken Sie die Dampf- / Spül-Taste (5) zur Bestätigung.

• Im Display blinkt das Symbol , und das Symbol leuchtet.

Tipp:

Stellen Sie ein genügend grosses Gefäss (ca. 0,5 l) unter die Düse (7).

• Drehen Sie den Dampf- / Heisswasser-Drehknopf (6) nach rechts. Das System wird jetzt gespült, und im Display blinkt das Symbol .

• Warten Sie, bis kein Wasser mehr aus der Düse austritt und bis das Symbol im Display leuchtet.

•

Drehen Sie den Dampf- / Heisswasser-Drehknopf (6) nach links wieder zu. Im Display erscheinen die voreingestellten Bohnen, und der Apparat ist wieder betriebsbereit.

Die Wasserhärte muss jetzt nicht mehr programmiert werden, da das Gerät

bei «Filter ja» automatisch die Wasserhärte-Stufe 1 eingestellt hat.

Apparat ohne Filter betreiben: Damit der Apparat erkennt, dass kein Filter eingesetzt wird, muss lediglich die Wasserhärte auf die korrekte Stufe programmiert werden. Folgen Sie dazu den Anweisungen im Kapitel 4.2

Falls nötig, vergessen Sie nicht, den Filter aus dem Wassertank zu entfernen.

4.2 Wasserhärte

Je nach Wasserhärte in Ihrer Region muss das Gerät früher oder später entkalkt werden. Damit das System rechtzeitig anzeigen kann, wann die Entkalkung nötig ist, müssen Sie vor der ersten Benützung die korrekte Wasserhärte eingeben.

Testen Sie Ihr Wasser zuerst mit dem beigelegten Teststreifen:

• Tauchen Sie den Streifen kurz ins Wasser und schütteln Sie ihn leicht ab.

• Nach ca. einer Minute können Sie das Resultat ablesen, indem Sie die roten Punkte zählen.

• Die verschiedenen Stufen sind wie folgt aufgeteilt:

1 roter Punkt = 1–7 °dH / 1–12.6 °fH = Stufe 1 = 1 Balken 2 rote Punkte = 8–14 °dH / 12.7–25.2 °fH = Stufe 2 = 2 Balken 3 rote Punkte = 15–21 °dH / 25.3–37.8 °fH = Stufe 3 = 3 Balken 4 rote Punkte = > 22 °dH / > 37.8 °fH = Stufe 4 = 4 Balken

Wenn kein Punkt rot wird, stellen Sie Stufe 1 ein.

Die werkseitige Grundeinstellung ist Stufe 3.

• Um in das Menü der Grundeinstellungen zu gelangen, halten Sie die Dampf- / SpülTaste (5) mehr als 3 Sek. gedrückt, bis das Symbol und 3 Balken leuchten.

Wichtig:

Falls Sie in einer vorherigen Programmierung den Filter auf «Ja» gestellt haben, erscheint hier links neben dem Symbol das Symbol .

• Drücken Sie die Kaffee-Taste (4) so oft, bis die entsprechenden Balken für Ihre Wasserhärte aufleuchten.

• Drücken Sie die Dampf- / Spül-Taste (5).

• Die Balken blinken drei Mal zur Bestätigung.

4.3 Automatische Ausschaltzeit

Mit dieser Funktion können Sie programmieren, nach wie viel Zeit das Gerät nach der letzten Benutzung automatisch abschaltet. Die folgenden Einstellungen sind möglich:

Nach 5 Min. = 1 Balken Nach 30 Min. = 2 Balken Nach 70 Min. = 3 Balken

Die werkseitige Grundeinstellung ist bei 5 Min.

• Um in das Menü der Grundeinstellungen zu gelangen, halten Sie die Dampf- / SpülTaste (5) mehr als 3 Sek. gedrückt, bis das Symbol

4.4 Temperatur

Sie können je nach Wunsch die Kaffeetemperatur verändern: Normal = 1 Balken

Hoch = 2 Balken Maximum = 3 Balken

Die werkseitige Grundeinstellung ist «Hoch».

• Um in das Menü der Grundeinstellungen zu gelangen, halten Sie die Dampf- / SpülTaste (5) mehr als 3 Sek. gedrückt, bis das Symbol leuchtet.

• Drücken Sie die Dampf- / Spül-Taste (5), bis das Symbol leuchtet.

•

Drücken Sie die Kaffee-Taste (4) so oft, bis die entsprechende Anzahl Balken für die gewünschte Temperatur aufleuchtet.

• Drücken Sie die Dampf- / Spül-Taste (5).

• Die Balken blinken drei Mal zur Bestätigung.

4.5 Ausschalt-Spülung

Optional können Sie das automatische Spülen nach dem Ausschalten des Gerätes programmieren (ist werkseitig deaktiviert). Diese Spülung wird aber nur durchgeführt, wenn unmittelbar vor dem Ausschalten des Gerätes ein Kaffee bezogen wurde. Die folgenden Einstellungen sind möglich:

Ausschalt-Spülung «Aus» = 1 Balken Ausschalt-Spülung «Ein» = 2 Balken

• Um in das Menü der Grundeinstellungen zu gelangen, halten Sie die Dampf- / SpülTaste (5) mehr als 3 Sek. gedrückt, bis das Symbol

4.6 Werkseinstellung wiederherstellen (Reset)

Wenn Sie die Werkseinstellung wiederherstellen, werden alle von Ihnen programmierten Punkte zurückgesetzt. Das heisst, dass die Maschine wieder so eingestellt ist, wie Sie sie gekauft haben.

• Halten Sie die Dampf- / Spül-Taste (5) und die Kaffee-Taste (4) gleichzeitig für mehr als 3 Sek. gedrückt.

• Alle Balken blinken drei Mal zur Bestätigung.

• Die Werkseinstellung ist nun wieder hergestellt.

5. Wartung und Pflege

5.1 Filter wechseln

Nach dem Bezug von ca. 50 l Wasser ist die Wirkung des Filters erschöpft. Im Display erscheint das Symbol

Sie können weiterhin Kaffee oder Heisswasser und Dampf beziehen. Wir

empfehlen Ihnen aber, den Filterwechsel immer sofort auszuführen.

Achtung:

Bei geringem Wasserverbrauch muss der Filter spätestens nach zwei Monaten ausgewechselt werden. Es erscheint dann keine Meldung im Display. Mit der speziellen Drehscheibe auf dem Kopf des Filters können Sie das Auswechseldatum einstellen.

• Um in das Pflegemenü zu gelangen, halten Sie die Aroma-Taste (3) mehr als 3 Sek. gedrückt. Im Display leuchtet das Symbol

oder oder .

•

Wenn nötig, drehen Sie den Wassermengen-Drehknopf (2), bis das Symbol leuchtet.

• Entleeren Sie den Wassertank (11).

• Mit der Montagehilfe (17) können Sie den alten Filter aus dem Tank entfernen und den neuen vorsichtig einschrauben. Stellen Sie an dem Datumsring (Monate) am oberen Ende der Filterpatrone das Einsetz- und Auswechseldatum ein.

• Füllen Sie den Tank mit frischem Wasser und setzen Sie ihn wieder in die Maschine ein.

• Drücken Sie die Aroma-Taste (3).

• Im Display blinkt das Symbol , und das Symbol leuchtet.

Tipp:

Stellen Sie ein genügend grosses Gefäss (ca. 0,5 l) unter die Düse (7).

5.2 System reinigen

Wenn das Gerät gereinigt werden muss, erscheint im Display das Symbol . Sie benötigen dazu die Reinigungstablette, die Ihrem Welcome-Pack beigelegt ist und die Sie bei uns bestellen können.

Sie können weiterhin Kaffee oder Heisswasser und Dampf beziehen. Wir

empfehlen Ihnen aber, das Reinigungsprogramm so bald wie möglich durchzuführen.

Das Programm kann auch durchgeführt werden, wenn keine Anzeige

erscheint

Achtung:

Das laufende Reinigungsprogramm darf nicht unterbrochen werden. Die Reinigungstablette erst einwerfen, wenn dies im Display angezeigt wird.

Hinweis:

Der Fortschritt des Reinigungsprozesses wird mit den roten Balken angezeigt.

• Um in das Pflegemenü zu gelangen, halten Sie die Aroma-Taste (3) mehr als 3 Sek. gedrückt. Im Display leuchtet das Symbol oder oder .

• Wenn nötig, drehen Sie den Wassermengen-Drehknopf (2), bis das Symbol leuchtet.

• Drücken Sie die Aroma-Taste (3), um die Reinigung zu starten.

• Das Symbol blinkt, die Symbole und leuchten.

• Entnehmen und füllen Sie den Wassertank (11) mit frischem Wasser und setzen Sie ihn wieder ein.

• Entfernen und reinigen Sie die Tropfschale (9b) und den Tresterbehälter (9c) und setzen Sie dann beide wieder ein.

• Der Apparat spült. Danach leuchtet zusätzlich das Symbol

Tipp:

Stellen Sie ein genügend grosses Gefäss (ca. 0,5 l) unter den Auslauf (8).

• Öffnen Sie die Klappe des Pulverschachtes (13). Das Symbol

blinkt.

• Geben Sie die Reinigungstablette in den Pulverschacht und schliessen Sie die Klappe.

• Das Gerät fängt mit dem Reinigungsprozess an.

• Die Reinigung läuft automatisch ab und dauert ca. 10 Min. Sobald der Zyklus beendet ist, leuchtet das Symbol

, und das Symbol blinkt.

• Leeren Sie die Tropfschale (9) und setzen Sie sie wieder ein.

• Der Apparat heizt kurz auf.

• Wenn die Bohnen-Symbole konstant leuchten, ist das Gerät wieder betriebsbereit.

5.3 System entkalken

Wenn das Gerät entkalkt werden muss, erscheint im Display das Symbol .

empfehlen Ihnen aber, das Entkalkungsprogramm so bald wie möglich durchzuführen.

Das Programm kann auch durchgeführt werden, wenn keine Anzeige

erscheint.

Achtung:

– Vor dem Start des Programms muss unbedingt der Filter aus dem Wassertank

entfernt werden.

Bitte halten Sie während des Ablaufes exakt die Reihenfolge ein wie hier beschrieben! – Das laufende Entkalkungsprogramm darf nicht unterbrochen werden! – Benutzen Sie zur Entkalkung niemals Essig oder Mittel auf Essigbasis, sondern ver-

wenden Sie «Calc Clean» oder ein ähnliches Produkt.

Hinweis:

Der Fortschritt des Reinigungsprozesses wird mit den roten Balken angezeigt.

• Um in das Pflegemenü zu gelangen, halten Sie die Aroma-Taste (3) mehr als 3 Sek.

Entfernen Sie den Wassertank (11) und entfernen Sie den Filter, falls einer eingesetzt ist.

• Füllen Sie Wasser und die entsprechende Menge Entkalkungsmittel in den Tank

NUR bis zur 0,5-l-Markierung (Hinweise des Herstellers beachten) und setzen Sie den Tank wieder ein.

• Das Symbol leuchtet.

Tipp:

Stellen Sie ein genügend grosses Gefäss (ca. 0,5 l) unter die Düse (7).

• Drehen Sie den Dampf- / Heisswasser-Drehknopf (6) nach rechts.

• Das Gerät entkalkt automatisch, und die Entkalkungslösung fliesst jetzt in Interval-

len durch die Dampf-Heisswasser-Düse (7) (ca. 10 Min.).

• Das Symbol leuchtet und das Symbol blinkt.

• Drehen Sie den Dampf- / Heisswasser-Drehknopf (6) nach links zu.

• Die Entkalkung startet erneut und läuft nach innen in die Tropfschale (9). Der Vor-

gang dauert weitere 10 Min. und läuft automatisch ab, bis das Symbol leuchtet und das Symbol blinkt.

• Leeren Sie die Tropfschale (9) und setzen Sie sie wieder ein.

• Das Symbol leuchtet.

• Entfernen Sie den Wassertank (11) und spülen Sie ihn mit klarem Wasser gut aus.

• Setzen Sie jetzt den Filter wieder ein (falls Sie ihn schon vorher benützt haben).

• Füllen Sie den Wassertank mit frischem Wasser und setzen Sie ihn wieder ein.

• Das Symbol leuchtet.

Tipp:

Stellen Sie ein genügend grosses Gefäss (ca. 0,5 l) unter die Düse (7).

• Drehen Sie den Dampf- / Heisswasser-Drehknopf (6) nach rechts.

der Apparat kurz über den Kaffee-Auslauf (8).

• Danach blinkt das Symbol

, und das Symbol leuchtet.

• Leeren Sie die Tropfschale (9) und setzen Sie sie wieder ein.

• Der Apparat heizt kurz auf.

• Wenn die Bohnen-Symbole konstant leuchten, ist das Gerät wieder betriebsbereit.

5.4 Allgemeine Reinigung

Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals ins Wasser ein.

☛

Benutzen Sie für die Reinigung keine Scheuermittel.

•

Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse innen und aussen nur mit einem weichen, feuchten Lappen.

• Leeren Sie die Tropfschale (9b) und den Tresterbehälter (9c), wenn dies im Display

angezeigt wird. Benützen Sie von Zeit zu Zeit etwas Seifenwasser zur Reinigung.

• Wenn der rote Füllstandanzeiger (9d) für die Tropfschale (9b) nach oben sichtbar

wird, Tropfschale (9b) entnehmen und reinigen.

•

Der Wassertank sollte täglich gespült und mit frischem, kühlem Wasser gefüllt werden.

•

Die Dampf- / Heisswasser-Düse nach jeder Benützung mit einem feuchten Lappen reinigen.

Milchrückstände an der Düse Getrocknete Rückstände nach dem Aufschäumen von Milch sind schwer zu entfernen:

• Nach jedem Gebrauch mit Milch müssen Sie die Düse (7) und den Cappuccinato-

re (7a, nur Model U27.32) gründlich reinigen (siehe Kapitel 3.8).

• Von Zeit zu Zeit muss der Cappuccinatore (nur Model U27.32) zur optimalen Rei-

nigung komplett in seine Einzelteile (B) demontiert und dann unter klarem Wasser gespült werden.

Reinigen der Brüheinheit Bei Bedarf kann die Brüheinheit (19) herausgenommen und unter fliessendem Wasser gereinigt werden. Verwenden Sie hierfür keinesfalls Reinigungsmittel, sondern nur Wasser!

Wir empfehlen Ihnen, die Brüheinheit jeden Monat einmal zu reinigen.

Achtung:

Der Apparat muss für die Reinigung ausgeschaltet sein (Netzschalter [10] auf aus).

• Öffnen und entfernen Sie die rechte Seitenwand (15).

• Entriegeln Sie die Brüheinheit (19), indem Sie den roten Schalter drücken und den

Haltegriff nach links bis zum Anschlag drehen.

• Ziehen Sie die Brüheinheit vorsichtig am Haltegriff aus dem Gehäuse heraus.

• Reinigen Sie die Brüheinheit unter fliessendem Wasser. Spülen Sie die Mahlkam-

mer und das Sieb gut aus. Lassen Sie die Brüheinheit danach austrocknen.

• Schieben Sie die Brüheinheit wieder vorsichtig in das Gehäuse zurück und verrie-

geln Sie sie, indem der rote Hebelschalter gedrückt und der Haltegriff bis zum Anschlag nach rechts gedreht wird.

• Seitenwand wieder schliessen.

1. Safety instructions

• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications, such as: staff kitchen areas, in shops, offices and other working environments; in farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential environments; in bed and breakfast environments.

• Only connect to alternating current with the voltage indicated on the type plate.

Only use the appliance and the power cord if they are both undamaged.

• Place the appliance on a level, solid surface, and only use it indoors.

• Never place the appliance on hot surfaces or near open flames.

• This machine can be used by children from 8 years and older if they are supervised or if they have been properly instructed about safe use of the machine and have understood the resulting risks.

• Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by children, unless they are 8 years or older and are supervised.

• The machine and its power supply cord must be kept away from children younger than 8 years old.

• Machines can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental faculties or by those lacking in experience and / or knowledge, if they are supervised or if they have been properly instructed about safe use of the machine and have understood the resulting risks.

• Children are not allowed to play with the machine.

Unplug the appliance when not in use for longer periods (several days).

Operating the on / off switch (10) while brewing can damage the appliance! You may only switch off the equipment when the appliance is in a passive state!

CAUTION: VERY HOT LIQUIDS CAN CAUSE SEVERE BURNS!

• When drawing steam or hot water, the jet (7) could spray. CAUTION: DANGER OF SEVERE BURNS!

Touch the steam jet (7) only on the black plastic part. Never aim at people!

• The steam jet (7) becomes VERY HOT during use. Allow it to cool off for a few minutes before touching it.

2. Operational start up

2.1 Preparing the coffee machine

• Carefully remove the equipment and all the accessory parts from the packing box.

Please note: If service is necessary you may return the equipment by mail in

its original packing box without reservation. Please safe the original packing box and the packing material in a convenient place.

• Remove the water tank (11) and rinse it with cold clear tap water.

• Fill the tank to the maximum mark and place it into the coffee machine. Please make sure that it clicks into place well when inserting.

☛

Use only clear cold water when filling the tank, and never use carbonated

water or other liquids.

• Open the cover to the bean holder (12) and fill it with coffee beans.

☛

Never use beans which have been treated with additives, such as sugar, dur-

ing or after roasting. This can damage the milling mechanism, and any such damage is not covered under the guarantee.

• Please make sure that the steam / hot water dial (6) is set to 0.

2.2 Using your coffee machine for the first time

• Pull the power cord from the cord compartment (14) and plug it in.

• Switch on the power switch (10).

• The display shows 5 flashing bars.

• After the coffee machine has heated up, the display will show the symbol .

•

Press the steam / rinsing button (5) and the system is rinsed through the coffee outlet (8).

• The display shows the coffee strength by lighting up the symbols of beans.

• Press the aroma button (3) to either confirm or to change the aroma strength (number of beans will change. See chapter 3.2).

• Your coffee machine is now ready for operation.

TIP:

Hold a receptacle under the output in order to collect the water. Filling the system

Since the machine is new from the factory, it is possible that the water pipes in the coffee machine are not filled with water when you use it for the first time. In this case, it will be indicated as follows:

• After the machine is turned on with the on / off switch (10) the symbol

will light

up.

• Open the steam / hot water dial (6) by turning it clockwise. The system will now be filled and some water could drip out of the coffee outlet (8) or the jet (7).

• As soon as the filling action has stopped automatically, turn the dial (6) counterclockwise to turn it off.

• The symbol

lights up.

• Then proceed as previously described under “2.2”.

• Your coffee machine is now ready for operation.

2.3 Setting the fineness of the coffee mill

Please note:

Adjust the fineness setting only when the coffee mill is in operation. You can adjust the degree of coarseness in the milling work for the way your coffee

beans have been roasted. We recommend, however, that you leave the coffee mill at the medium setting.

• Move the milling level adjuster (20) to the desired position with the mill running.

The smaller the point, the finer the coffee is ground. Please note: – Light roasted beans require a fine setting – Dark roasted beans require a coarse setting

3. Preparation

The coffee machine was set at the factory so that you could make your first

cup of coffee immediately. However, we recommend that you program the most important basic settings according to your needs. Therefore, you should first carry out the steps of the water hardness and the temperature settings mentioned in chapter “4. Programming”.

When using the coffee machine for the first time, or if it has not been used for

a long time, the first cup of coffee will not have a full aroma and should not be drunk.

3.1 Selecting the water quantity

Using the water dial (2) you can adjust the amount of water on a continuously variable scale (small cup lower left for less water, large cup lower right for more water).

• The amount of water can be changed while coffee is being brewed.

3.2 Selecting coffee strength

Depending on your taste, the strength of the coffee can be set at three different levels: = mild, ca 7 gr. coffee grounds (e.g. milk coffee, cappuccino)

= normal, ca. 9 gr. coffee grounds (e.g. coffee with cream) = strong, ca. 11 gr. coffee grounds (e.g. espresso, strong coffee)

• As soon as the coffee machine is ready for operation, the display will show the preprogrammed symbol .

• You can change this by pressing the aroma button (3) until the desired coffee strength is displayed.

3.3 Brewing one cup of coffee

• Place your pre-warmed cup under the coffee outlet (8).

☛

You can adjust the height of the coffee outlet so that it is just right for the size

of your cup.

• Select the desired water quantity.

• Press the aroma button (3) until the desired coffee strength is displayed.

• Press the coffee button (4) once.

• The coffee machine will now start the brewing process.

☛

You may interrupt the process at any time by pressing the coffee button (4).

Please note:

If you are preparing a cup of coffee for the first time, the milling chamber will still be empty. It is possible that the symbol for no coffee beans could blink after the first milling process and that the coffee machine will not make any coffee. In this case, just push the coffee button (4) once more, to repeat the brewing process.

TIP:

To help you find out how much water is ideal to match your taste or the size of your coffee cup, do the following when making your first cup of coffee:

• Turn the water dial (2) to the following positions:

- for a cup of espresso, to the middle of the scale

- for a large cup of coffee, all the way to the right

• Press the coffee button (4).

• The coffee machine will now start the brewing process.

• Just before the coffee cup is filled to the desired amount, turn the water dial (2) slowly to the left until the machine stops brewing.

• Note for future brewing processes the position of the water dial (2) on the scale.

3.4 Brewing two cups of coffee

Two millings are automatically done one after another for 2 cups operation.

• Place both cups under the coffee outlet (8).

• Select the desired coffee strength and water quantity for one cup.

• Press the coffee button (4) twice in succession.

•

The coffee machine now begins brewing and makes 2 cups of coffee one after another.

☛

You may interrupt the process at any time by pressing the coffee button (4).

☛

If it happens that the water or coffee beans run out right between two millings

or the tray must be emptied, it will be indicated and the second cup of coffee will not be made. Follow the instructions for that symbol and afterwards press the coffee button (4) again for the second cup of coffee.

3.5 Brewing with pre-ground coffee

• First set the water dial (2) for the amount of water desired for one cup of coffee.

• Open the drawer for coffee grounds (13). The symbol begins to blink.

• Fill one level spoonful of ground coffee using the measuring spoon for ground coffee (16) and close the cover. The symbol will light up constantly.

• Place your cup under the coffee outlet (8) and press the coffee button (4).

☛

If the powder well is opened by accident, or if the coffee button is not pushed

after the grounds have been filled, the system will be rinsed automatically one minute after the cover was reclosed and is then ready again for service.

Please note: The ground coffee well is not for storage. Therefore you should never place more than one portion in the well and always use fresh or vacuum-packed grounds from milled beans. Instant coffee may not be used.

3.6 Drawing hot water

• Place your cup under the jet (7).

• Turn the steam / hot water dial (6) to the right.

• When your cup is filled with the desired amount of water turn the dial (6) back to 0.

☛

You can make steam for up to two minutes. The machine will then turn off auto-

matically. By turning the dial (6) back and forth, you can continue the process.

☛

Caution: Very hot water and danger of burns! The water from the jet can

spray around, and the hot water jet (7) is very hot when in use. Allow the jet to cool off for a few minutes before touching it.

3.7 Drawing steam and milk foam

(only Model U27.30)

• Press the steam / rinsing button (5). The 5 bars start to blink.

• As soon as the system is ready, the symbol blinks.

• Insert the jet (7) into the cup with the liquid to be heated.

• Turn the steam / hot water dial (6) to the right.

Please note:

Water will first come out and then steam.

• By turning back the dial (6) to 0, the process is stopped.

• Press the steam / rinsing button (5) and the coffee machine will be reset for normal operation.

You can make steam for up to two minutes. The machine will then turn off auto-

matically. By turning the dial (6) back and forth, you can continue the process.

☛

Caution: Very hot steam and danger of burns! Only touch the jet on the black

plastic part!

TIP:

Dried residue on the jet after making milk foam is difficult to remove. You should therefore clean it immediately after it has cooled off!

3.8 Foaming milk / hot milk with the Cappuccinatore (only U27.33)

Using the special foaming tool “Cappuccinatore” (7a) you can foam or heat up fresh milk directly in to your cup.

• Mount the hose to the steam jet (7a).

• Insert the hose (A) into the receptacle with milk and place the cup under the Cappuccinatore (7).

• Press the steam / rinsing button (5). The 5 bars start to blink.

• As soon as the system is ready the symbol lights up.

• Turn the steam / hot water dial (6) slowly to the right.

• The milk is soaked up and fed into the cup as foam / hot milk.

• End this process by closing the steam / hot water dial (6) to the 0 position.

•

Press the steam/rinsing button (5) and the coffee machine will be reset for normal operation.

☛

You can make steam for up to two minutes. The machine will then turn off auto-

matically. By turning the dial (6) back and forth, you can continue the process.

TIP:

Dried residue on the foaming tool and jet is difficult to remove. You should therefore clean it immediately after it has cooled off:

• Repeat the process as described above but use clear water instead of milk.

• Draw steam until clean water / steam comes out of the jet

Please note:

For optimal cleaning the “Cappuccinatore” must be dismantled from time to time (B) and its parts rinsed under fresh, cold water.

4. Programming

The following buttons are used for programming:

You can reprogram the following settings:

If the programming is interrupted for longer than 1 minute, the machine reverts

automatically to the coffee ready mode.

4.1 Filter

For all of our coffee machines you can buy from us a special filter for the water tank as an accessory. With the correct use of this filter, you will not have to descale your coffee machine as often. In order for the appliance to know that the filter has been installed, you must program the filter setting to “Yes”. The factory setting is without filter.

☛

If you use the filter in your machine and you have programmed the system to

“Yes”, the water hardness will automatically be programmed to level 1.

☛

The effectiveness of the filter will be exhausted after drawing approx. 50 liters

of water. The Symbol will appear in the display when the filter has to be changed (see chapter 5.1)

☛

Please note: If your use of water is lower, the filter must be replaced after two

months at the latest.

Operating the appliance with filter:

• Drain the water tank (11) and screw the filter into the filter holder (18) using the enclosed mounting tool (17).

• At the date ring (months) at the top end of the filter cartridge, set the installation and replacement date.

• Fill the tank with fresh water and reinsert the tank in the machine.

• To access the basic settings menu hold the steam / rinsing button (5) more than 3 sec. until the symbol

and 3 bars light up.

• Press the coffee button (4) several times until the symbol appears next to the symbol

• Press the steam / rinsing button (5) to confirm.

• In the display the symbol

is blinking and the symbol lights up.

TIP:

Place a sufficiently large receptacle (approx. 0.5 l) under the jet (7).

• Turn the steam / hot water dial (6) to the right. The system is being rinsed through the jet and the symbol

is blinking.

• Wait until no more water comes out of the jet and the symbol

lights up.

• Close the steam / hot water dial (6) by turning it to the left. The display shows the coffee beans and the machine is ready for service.

When the filter has been programmed to “Yes”, the water hardness is automat-

ically put to level 1. No more programming of the water hardness is needed.

Operating the appliance without filter: For the machine to recognize that no filter is being used, you have to program the water hardness to the correct level. Please follow the instructions in chapter 4.2.

If necessary do not forget to remove the filter from the water tank.

4.2 Water hardness

Depending on the water hardness in your region, the appliance will have to be descaled sooner or later. In order for the system to be able to indicate in good time when descaling is necessary, you must enter the correct water hardness before using the coffee machine for the first time.

You should first test the water with the enclosed test strips:

• Briefly dip the strips into the water and shake off excess water.

• You can read off the result after approx. one minute by counting the red dots.

• The different levels are divided as follows:

1 red dot 1–7 °dH / 1–12.6 °fH = Level 1 = 1 bar 2 red dots 8–14 °dH / 12.7–25.2 °fH = Level 2 = 2 bars 3 red dots 15–21 °dH / 25.3–37.8 °fH = Level 3 = 3 bars 4 red dots > 21 °dH / > 37.8 °fH = Level 4 = 4 bars

If no dots are red, set Level 1.

The basic factory setting is Level 3.

• To access the basic settings menu hold the steam / rinsing button (5) more than 3 sec. until the symbol and 3 bars light up.

Important:

If you have set the filter to “Yes” in a previous programming, the symbol will now appear next to the symbol .

• Press the coffee button (4) until the number of bars, corresponding to your water hardness, are shown in the display.

• Press the steam / rinsing button (5).

• The bars blink three times to confirm.

To end the programming and get back to coffee-ready-mode, hold the

steam / rinsing button (5) for more than 3 seconds.

To continue with other programming, press the steam / rinsing button (5) brief-

ly and the next symbol appears.

4.3 Automatic switch-off time

This function allows you to program when the coffee machine should automatically turn off after the last use. The following settings are possible:

After 5 min. = 1 bar After 30 min. = 2 bars After 70 min. = 3 bars

The factory setting is 5 min.

• To access the basic settings menu hold the steam / rinsing button (5) more than 3 sec. until the symbol

lights up.

• Press the steam / rinsing button (5) until the symbol appears.

• Press the coffee button (4) until the number of bars, corresponding to the desired turn-off time, are shown in the display.

• Press the steam / rinsing button (5).

• The bars blink three times to confirm.

To end the programming and get back to coffee-ready-mode, hold the

steam / rinsing button (5) for more than 3 seconds.

To continue with other programming, press the steam / rinsing button (5)

briefly and the next symbol appears.

4.4 Temperature

You can change the desired temperature of the brewed coffee: Normal = 1 bar

High = 2 bars Maximum = 3 bars

The factory setting is “high”.

• To access the basic settings menu hold the steam / rinsing button (5) more than 3 sec. until the symbol lights up.

• Press the steam / rinsing button (5) until the symbol appears.

• Press the coffee button (4) until the number of bars, corresponding to the desired temperature, are shown in the display.

• Press the steam / rinsing button (5).

• The bars blink three times to confirm.

To end the programming and get back to coffee-ready-mode, hold the

4.5 Rinsing at switch-off (Off-rinse)

As an option, you can program automatic rinsing after the switch-off of the appliance (factory setting is disabled). This rinsing will only be carried out, however, if a cup of coffee is drawn immediately before the appliance is switched off.

• To access the basic settings menu hold the steam / rinsing button (5) more than 3 sec. until the symbol

• Press the steam / rinsing button (5).

• The bars blink three times to confirm.

To end the programming and get back to coffee-ready-mode, hold the

4.6 Restoration of factory settings (Reset)

If you reset to factory settings, all of your programmed items will be reset. That means that the settings will be the same as when you bought the machine.

• Press the steam / rinsing button (5) and the coffee button (4) simultaneously for more than 3 sec.

• All bars blink three times to confirm.

• The factory settings have now been reset.

5. Maintenance and care

5.1 Changing the filter

The effectiveness of the filter will be exhausted after drawing approx. 50 liters of water. The symbol appears on the display.

☛

You can still draw coffee, hot water and steam. We would, however, recom-

mend that you should always replace the filter immediately.

Please note:

If your use of water is lower, the filter must be replaced after two months at the latest. No message appears in the display. You can set the replacement date using the special rotary indicator on the top of the filter.

• To access the maintenance menu hold the aroma button (3) more than 3 seconds. The symbol or or appears.

• If necessary turn the water dial (2) until the symbol

appears.

• Empty the water tank (11).

• With the assistance of the mounting tool (17) you can remove the old filter and screw in the new one carefully. At the date ring (months) at the top end of the filter cartridge, set the installation and replacement date.

• Fill the tank with fresh water and put it back into the coffee machine.

• Press the aroma button (3).

• In the display the symbol

is blinking and the symbol lights up.

TIP:

Place a sufficiently large receptacle (approx. 0.5 l) under the jet (7).

• Turn the steam / hot water dial (6) to the right. The system is being rinsed through the jet and the symbol is blinking.

• Wait until no more water comes out of the jet and the symbol lights up.

• Close the steam / hot water dial (6) by turning it to the left. The display shows the coffee beans and the machine is ready for service.

5.2 Cleaning the system

When the appliance needs to be cleaned, the symbol appears on the display. In order to carry this out, you will need the cleaning tablets enclosed in your Welcome-Pack and which you can order from us.

You can still draw coffee, hot water and steam. We would, however, recom-

mend that the cleaning program should be carried out as soon as possible.

The program can also be carried without the message appearing.

Please note:

- The running cleaning program must not be interrupted.

- Only add the cleaning tablets when indicated in the display.

- The progress of the cleaning program is indicated with the numbers of bars shown

in the display.

• Open the drawer for coffee grounds (13). The symbol

• Place the cleaning tablet in the drawer and close the lid.

• The coffee machine starts with the cleaning process.

• The cleaning runs automatically and takes ca. 10 min. The symbol lights up and the symbol

is blinking as soon as the cycle has ended.

• Empty the drip tray (9) and replace it.

5.3 Descaling the system

If the appliance needs to be descaled, the symbol will appear on the display.

You can continue to brew coffee or draw hot water and steam. We would, how-

ever, recommend that you run the descaling program as soon as possible.

The program can also be carried out without the message appearing.

Please note:

– The filter must always be removed from the water tank before starting the pro-

gram.

– Please comply exactly with the sequence described here during the process! – You may not interrupt the descaling program! – Never use vinegar or liquids based on vinegar to descale your coffee machine;

only use “Calc Clean” or a similar product.

– The progress of the cleaning program is indicated with the numbers of bars shown

in the display.

• To access the maintenance menu hold the aroma button (3) more than 3 seconds. The symbol

0.5 l mark (observe manufacturer’s instructions) and replace the tank.

• The decalcifying solution flows in intervals through the jet (7) (ca.10 min.).

• The rinsing through the internal outlet into the drip tray (9) starts and lasts about 2 minutes. After that the machine rinses shortly through the coffee-outlet (8).

• Empty the drip tray (9) and replace it.

• The appliance heats up briefly.

• When all the bean symbols light continuously, the machine is again ready to operate.

5.4 General cleaning

Never immerse the coffee machine in water.

☛

Never use a scrubbing cleaner to clean the coffee machine.

• Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the inside and outside of the case.

• Empty the drip tray (9b) and the grounds holder (9c) only when the display indicates this. From time to time, use soapy water for cleaning.

• When the red filling indication (9d) for the drip tray (9b) is visible at the top, remove and clean the drip tray (9b).

• The water tank should be rinsed out daily and filled with fresh, cool water.

• The steam / hot water jet must be cleaned with a moist cloth after each use.

Milk residue on the foaming tool: Dried residue on the foaming tool and jet is difficult to remove:

• After every use with milk, the jet (7) and the “Cappuccinatore” (only model U 27.32) have to be cleaned thoroughly (see chapter 3.8).

• For optimal cleaning the “Cappuccinatore” (only model U27.32) must be dismantled from time to time (B) and its parts rinsed under fresh, cold water.

Cleaning of the brewing unit: When required, the brewing unit can be taken out and can then be cleaned under running water. Do not use any detergents for this, only water!

☛

We would recommend that you clean the brewing unit once a month.

Please note:

The appliance must be turned off (main power switch [10]) when cleaning!

• Open and remove the right hand cover (15).

• Disengage the brewing unit (19) by pressing the red switch and turning the handle to the left as far as the stop.

• Carefully pull the brewing unit out of the housing using the handle.

• Clean the brewing unit under running water. Thoroughly rinse out the milling chamber and the mesh screen, and then allow the brewing unit to dry out.

• Carefully push the brewing unit back into the housing, and engage it by pressing down the red lever switch and turning the handle to the right as far as the stop.

• Remount the cover again.

1. Règles de sécurité

• Cette machine est destinée à être utilisée dans des applications domestiques et analogues, telles que par exemple dans des cuisinettes réservées au personnel dans des magasins, bureaux et autres secteurs professionnels; des fermes; par des clients d’hôtels, motels et autres environnements à caractère résidentiel et des pensions proposant le petit déjeuner.

• Ne raccorder au courant alternatif qu’en respectant la tension indiquée sur la plaque signalétique.

• N’utiliser la machine et la conduite d’alimentation que si elles ne présentent pas de dommages.

• Placer la machine sur une surface plane et stable et ne l’utiliser qu’à l’intérieur.

• Ne jamais déposer la machine sur des surfaces chaudes ou à proximité de flammes nues.

• Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants à partir de l’âge de 8 ans et plus s’ils sont sous surveillance ou bien s’ils ont été instruits de son usage en toute sécurité et ont compris les dangers qui en résultent.

• Le nettoyage et la maintenance utilisateur ne doivent pas être effectués par des enfants, sauf s’ils ont 8 ans ou plus.

• L’appareil et sa conduite de raccordement doivent être conservés hors de portée des enfants de moins de 8 ans.

• Les appareils peuvent être utilisés par des personnes ayant des capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales réduites ou qui manquent d’expérience et

/ ou de connaissance s’ils sont sous sur-

• Toujours retirer la fiche secteur en cas d’absence prolongée de plusieurs jours.

• Ne jamais immerger la machine dans de l’eau.

• Ne jamais nettoyer la machine ou des composants de la machine dans le lave-vaisselle.

• Observer impérativement les consignes de nettoyage et de détartrage. En cas d’inobservation, les exigences sous garantie viennent caduques.

• En cas de défectuosité, retirer immédiatement la fiche secteur (ne jamais tirer directement sur le câble d’alimentation ou sur la machine).

• Si le câble d’alimentation de cette machine est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par le fabricant, son service après-vente ou des personnes de qualification similaire afin d’éviter tout danger.

• En cas de fausse manipulation, d’utilisation inappropriée ou de réparations non effectuées dans les règles de l’art, nous déclinons toute responsabilité pour les éventuels dommages pouvant en résulter. Les prestations sous garantie sont exclues dans de tels cas.

Attention :

L’actionnement de l’interrupteur marche / arrêt (10) durant la percolation est susceptible d’endommager la machine! Ne mettre la machine hors circuit que si celle-ci est à l’état de repos!

RISQUE DE BRÛLURES!

• Lorsque vous retirez de la vapeur ou de l’eau chaude, il peut arriver que la buse (7) produit au début des giclées latérales : Risque de brûlures!

• Ne saisir la buse de vapeur (7) que sur la partie en plastique noir et ne jamais la diriger vers des personnes!

• La buse (7) devient TRÈS CHAUDE durant l‘utilisation. Laisser refroidir la buse durant quelques minutes avant de la saisir.

2. Mise en service

2.1 Préparation de la machine

• Retirer avec précaution la machine ainsi que tous les pièces qui en font partie hors de l’emballage.

☛

La machine peut être envoyée par la poste sans problèmes dans l’emballage

d’origine pour un éventuel service. C’est pourquoi il faut conserver cet emballage.

• Retirer le réservoir à eau (11) puis le rincer à l’eau de conduite froide et claire.

• Remplir ensuite le réservoir jusqu’au repère max. puis le placer dans la machine. Veiller à ce qu’il s’encliquette correctement lors de la mise en place.

☛

Toujours remplir le réservoir avec de l’eau claire, jamais d’autres liquides ou

d’eau contenant de l’acide carbonique.

• Ouvrir le couvercle du récipient à grains (12) et le remplir de café en grains.

Ne pas utiliser de grains auxquels des additifs tels que du sucre ou un pro-

duit comparable ont été ajoutés durant ou après la torréfaction. Ceci peut endommager le broyeur et être à l’origine de frais de réparation non couverts par la prestation de garantie.

• Veillez à ce que le bouton tournant vapeur / eau chaude (6) soit sur 0.

2.2 Mise en service

• Retirer le connecteur d’alimentation du compartiment à câble (14) puis le connecter.

• Enclencher l’interrupteur marche/arrêt (10).

• 5 barres rouges clignotent sur l‘affichage.

• Dès que l’appareil a atteint la température voulue, le symbole clignote.

• Presser la touche vapeur / rinçage (5) pour rincer le système via la sortie de café (8).

• L’intensité de café sélectionnée est alors indiquée sur l’afficheur en éclairant le nombre correspondant de grains.

• Presser la touche de sélection d‘arôme (3) pour confirmer ou pour modifier l’intensité de l’arôme du café (la quantité de grains est modifiée. Voir chapitre 3.2).

• La machine est maintenant opérationnelle.

Conseil :

Placer un récipient sous la sortie pour récupérer l’eau. Remplissage du système En raison des conditions d’usine, il peut éventuellement arriver que les conduites ne

soient pas encore remplies d’eau lors de la première mise en service. La machine signalerait cet état comme suit :

• Une fois que la machine a été mise sous tension au moyen de l’interrupteur marche / arrêt (10), le symbole s’allume.

• Ouvrir en tournant à droite le bouton vapeur / eau chaude (6). Le système se remplit maintenant et l’eau peut sortir de la buse (7) et de la sortie de café (8).

• Dès que le remplissage s’arrêté automatiquement, vous pouvez repivoter le bouton tournant (6) sur la gauche.

• Le symbole s’allume.

• Procéder ensuite comme indiqué sous «2.2 Mise en service».

• La machine est maintenant opérationnelle.

2.3 Réglage de degré de broyage

Attention :

Le degré de broyage ne peut être réglé que lorsque le broyeur tourne. Le broyeur peut être ajusté en fonction du degré de torréfaction de votre café en

grains. Nous vous recommandons cependant de toujours laisser le broyeur sur le réglage moyen.

• Glisser le régulateur situé à l’arrière (20) sur la position désirée lorsque le broyeur tourne. Plus le grain est petit, plus fin est le café moulu. Fondamentalement, la règle suivante est applicable :

– une torréfaction claire requiert un réglage fin – une torréfaction foncée requiert un réglage grossier

3. Préparation

Indications :

Le réglage de la machine en usine permet de préparer immédiatement le

premier café. Nous vous recommandons cependant de procéder aux réglages de base les plus importants en fonction de vos besoins. Veuillez par conséquent exécuter d’abord les étapes de programmation destinées au réglage de la température et à la dureté de l’eau, mentionnées au chapitre «4. Programmations».

Lors de la première utilisation, ou quand l’appareil n’as pas été en service

durant une période prolongée, le premier café n’a pas un arôme entier et ne devrait pas être bu.

3.1 Sélection du volume d’eau

Le bouton tournant du volume d’eau (2) vous permet de doser en continu la quantité de liquide au moyen de la graduation (petite tasse à gauche en bas pour peu d’eau, grande tasse à droite en bas pour beaucoup d’eau).

• La quantité d’eau peut être modifiée tandis que le processus est en cours.

3.2 Sélection de l’intensité aromatique du café

L’arôme du café peut être réglé sur trois degrés en fonction du goût : = faible, env. 7 g de café moulu (par ex. café au lait, cappuccino)

= normal, env. 9 g de café moulu (par ex. café crème)

= fort, env. 11 g de café moulu (par ex. expresso et café fort)

• Dès que la machine est opérationnelle, l’afficheur indique le réglage effectué en usine .

• Vous pouvez changer cet état de choses en pressant la touche de sélection d’arôme (3) jusqu’à ce que l’afficheur indique l’intensité de café désirée.

3.3 Retrait avec une tasse

• Placer la tasse préchauffée sous la sortie du café (8).

La sortie du café est réglable en hauteur et peut être ajustée exactement à la

grandeur de la tasse correspondante.

• Régler la quantité d’eau désirées.

• Presser la touche de sélection d’arôme (3) jusqu’à ce que l’intensité de café désirée s’affiche.

• Presser la touche café (4).

• La machine commence par le processus de percolation.

Le processus peut être interrompu à tout moment en pressant la touche café (4).

Attention : Si vous préparez un café pour la première fois, la chambre de broyage est encore vide. Il peut arriver que le symbole manque de grains

commence à clignoter et que la machine ne prépare pas de café lors du premier broyage. Dans ce cas, pressez de nouveau la touche café (4) pour répéter le processus.

Conseil :

Pour vous permettre de noter quel est le volume d’eau correspondant à votre goût ou quelle est la grandeur de tasse idéale, veuillez procéder comme suit lors du premier retrait de café.

• Régler le bouton tournant du volume d’eau (2) sur les positions suivantes : – pour une tasse d’expresso, au milieu de la graduation à points – pour une grande tasse, tout à droite

• Presser la touche café (4).

• La machine commence à préparer le café.

• Juste avant que le volume de café désiré soit atteint, tourner lentement le bouton

tournant du volume d’eau (2) vers la gauche jusqu’à ce que la machine arrête de travailler.

• Se noter la position actuelle indiquée par le bouton tournant du volume d’eau (2)

pour les futures percolations.

3.4 Retrait avec deux tasses

En cas de retrait avec 2 tasses, deux broyages consécutifs sont automatiquement effectués.

• Placer les deux tasses sous la sortie du café (8).

• Régler l’intensité aromatique du café ainsi que la quantité d’eau désirée pour une

tasse.

• Presser la touche café (4) deux fois de suite.

• La machine démarre maintenant le processus de broyage et fait deux cafés à la

suite.

Le processus peut être interrompu à tout moment en pressant la touche café (4).

☛

S’il devait arriver, précisément entre deux broyages, qu’il n’y a plus d’eau ou

de grains, ou que les bacs doivent être vidés, cela s’affichera et le deuxième café ne sera pas préparé. Observez l’affichage puis ne pressez qu’ensuite la touche café (4) encore une fois pour le deuxième café.

3.5 Préparation de café moulu

• Tourner d’abord le bouton tournant du volume d’eau (2) sur la quantité d’eau dési-

rée pour une tasse.

• Ouvrir le couvercle du tiroir à café moulu (13). Le symbole clignote.

• Ajouter une cuillère de dosage (16) avec café moulu puis refermer le couvercle. Le

symbole

s’allume constante.

• Placer la tasse sous la sortie de café (8) puis presser la touche café (4).

☛

Si vous deviez avoir ouvert le clapet du tiroir à café moulu par inadvertance,

ou si aucune touche de retrait n’a été pressée après l’arrivée du café moulu, le système sera rincé automatiquement une minute après que le couvercle ait été refermé et il sera de nouveau prêt à fonctionner.

Attention :

Le puits de remplissage n’est pas un réservoir. Par conséquent, veuillez ne pas introduire plus d’une portion dans le puits et utilisez uniquement de la poudre fraîche de grains moulus emballée sous vide. Le café instantané hydrosoluble ne doit pas être utilisé.

3.6 Retrait de l’eau chaude

• Placer une tasse sous la buse (7).

• Tourner le bouton tournant vapeur / eau chaude (6) à droite.

• Remplir la tasse jusqu’à ce que le volume désiré soit atteint puis tourner ensuite le

bouton (6) de nouveau sur 0.

Il est possible de retirer de la vapeur pendant env. 2 minutes. Ensuite, la machine

interrompt automatiquement le processus. Le processus peut être poursuivi en tournant le bouton tournant (6) dans les deux sens.

☛

Attention, risques de brûlures : L’eau sortante peut gicler dans tous les sens!

La buse (7) devient TRÈS CHAUDE durant l’utilisation. Laisser refroidir la buse durant quelques minutes avant de la saisir.

3.7 Retrait de vapeur / moussage du lait (seulement model U27.30)

• Presser la touche vapeur / rinçage (5). Les 5 barres clignotent.

• Dès que le système est prêt, le symbole s’allume.

• Plonger la buse (7) dans la tasse contenant le liquide à échauffer.

• Tourner maintenant le bouton tournant vapeur / eau chaude (6) à droite. Attention : Il sort d’abord un peu d’eau et la vapeur ne vient qu’ensuite.

• Pour interrompre le processus, repositionner le bouton tournant (6) sur 0.

• Presser la touche vapeur / rinçage (5) pour faire revenir la machine au fonctionne-

ment café normal.

Il est possible de retirer de la vapeur pendant env. 2 minutes. Ensuite, la machine

interrompt automatiquement le processus. Le processus peut être poursuivi en tournant le bouton tournant (6) dans les deux sens.

Attention, risque de brûlures : La vapeur jaillissante est très chaude! Ne saisir

la buse que par la partie en plastique noir!

Conseil :

Les résidus séchés sur la buse (7) sont difficiles à éliminer. C’est pourquoi il faut nettoyer tout correctement après le refroidissement.

3.8 Moussage du lait / lait chaud avec Cappuccinatore (seulement pour U27.32)

L’accessoire spécial de moussage «Cappuccinatore» (7a) vous permet de réchauffer le lait versé directement du berlingot ou d’un récipient et de le faire mousser dans la tasse.

• Monter le tuyau sur la buse à eau chaude (7a).

• Plonger le tuyau (A) dans le récipient contenant le lait puis placer la tasse sous la

buse à vapeur / eau chaude (7).

• Presser la touche vapeur / rinçage (5). Les 5 barres clignotent.

• Dès que le système est prêt, le symbole

s’allume.

• Tourner lentement le bouton tournant vapeur / eau chaude (6) vers la droite.

• Le lait est aspiré et moussé ou versé directement chaud dans la tasse.

• Terminer le processus en tournant le bouton tournant (6) sur 0.

• Presser la touche vapeur / rinçage (5) pour faire revenir la machine au fonctionne-

ment café normal.

De la vapeur peut être retirée pendant env. 2 min. Ensuite, l’appareil arrête le

processus automatiquement. Tourner le bouton tournant (6) vers l’avant et l‘arrière permet de poursuivre le processus.

Conseil :

Les résidus séchés sur la buse (7) sont difficiles à éliminer. C’est pourquoi il faut nettoyer tout correctement après le refroidissement. Procédez comme suit :

• Répéter le processus comme décrit ci-dessus mais utilisez de l’eau au lieu du lait.

• Prélever de l’eau jusqu’à ce qu’elle émerge propre et sans résidus de lait de la

buse (7).

Attention :

De temps en temps, il faut démonter complètement le Cappuccinatore (B) et rincer ensuite toutes les pièces individuelles pour assurer un nettoyage optimal.

4. Programmations

Les touches suivantes sont utilisées pour les programmations :

4.1 Filtre

Pour toutes les machines à café entièrement automatiques, vous pouvez commander chez nous un filtre spécial pour le réservoir d‘eau. Si vous utilisez correctement ce filtre, la fréquence des détartrages de votre machine à café diminuera. Pour que la machine reconnaisse que le filtre est inséré, vous devez programmer le réglage du filtre sur «Oui». Le réglage en usine est sans filtre.

Si vous utilisez le filtre pour votre machine et que le système est programmé

sur «Oui», la programmation pour la dureté de l’eau sera automatiquement placée au niveau 1.

☛

Après le retrait de quelque 50 l d’eau, l’efficacité du filtre est épuisée. L’affi-

chage vous indique avec le symbole si le filtre doit être changé (cf. chapitre

5.1).

☛

Important : Si l’affichage n’indique rien, il faut changer le filtre au bout de

quelques retraits ou au plus tard dans un délai de deux mois.

Utiliser la machine avec filtre :

• Vider le réservoir à eau (11) puis visser le filtre dans la fixation prévue (18) à cet effet

au moyen de l’accessoire de montage (17) ci-joint.

• Régler la date de montage et de remplacement sur l’anneau de date (mois) situé

à l’extrémité supérieure de la cartouche filtrante.

• Remplir le réservoir d’eau fraîche puis le placer de nouveau dans la machine.

• Pour accéder au menu des réglages de base, maintenir la touche vapeur / rinçage

(5) plus de 3 sec. jusqu’à ce que le symbole et 3 barres s’allument.

• Presser la touche café (4) plusieurs fois jusqu’à ce que le symbole à gauche à

côté du symbole apparaisse.

• Presser la touche vapeur / rinçage (5) pour confirmer.

• Le symbole s’allume et le symbole clignote.

Conseil :

Placer un récipient suffisamment grand (env. 0.5 l) sous la buse (7).

• Tourner le bouton vapeur / eau chaude (6) à droite. Le système est maintenant en

cours de rinçage et le symbole clignote.

• Attender jusqu’à ce qu’il n’y ait plus d’eau qui sorte de la buse et que le symbole

apparaisse sur l‘affichage.

• Tourner le bouton tournant vapeur / eau chaude (6) à gauche pour refermer. Sur

l’affichage apparaissent les grains prédéfinis et la machine est prête à fonctionner.

La dureté de l’eau ne doit désormais plus être programmée car la machine

est automatiquement réglée au niveau de dureté 1 en présence de «Filtre oui».

Utiliser la machine sans filtre : Afin que la machine reconnaisse qu’aucun filtre n’est installé, il suffit de programmer la dureté de l’eau au niveau correct. A cet effet, veuillez vous conformer aux instructions du chapitre 4.2.

Si nécessaire, n’oubliez pas d’enlever le filtre du réservoir d‘eau.

4.2 Dureté de l’eau

Selon la dureté de l’eau dans votre région, la machine devra être détartrée tôt ou tard. Afin que le système vous annonce en temps opportun quand le prochain détartrage doit être effectué, vous devez indiquer la dureté correcte de l’eau avant la première utilisation.

Tester d’abord votre eau en plongeant la bandelette réactive :

• Plonger la bandelette réactive un bref instant dans l’eau puis la secouer légère-

ment pour l’égoutter.

• Vous pourrez consulter le résultat au bout d’environ une minute en comptant les

points rouges.

• Les différents niveaux sont répartis comme suit : 1 point rouge 1–7 °dH / 1–12.6 °fH = niveau 1 = 1 barre

2 points rouges 8–14 °dH / 12.7–25.2 °fH = niveau 2 = 2 barres 3 points rouges 15–21 °dH / 25.3–37.8 °fH = niveau 3 = 3 barres 4 points rouges > 21 °dH / > 37.8 °fH = niveau 4 = 4 barres

S’il n’y a aucun point rouge, réglez sur le niveau 1.

Le réglage de base à l’usine se fait sur le niveau 3.

• Pour accéder au menu des réglages de base, maintenir la touche vapeur / rinçage

(5) plus de 3 sec. jusqu’à ce que le symbole et 3 barres s’allument.

Important : Si vous aviez fixé le filtre sur «oui» lors d’une programmation précédente, le symbole apparaît à gauche du symbole .

• Presser la touche café (4) plusieurs fois jusqu’à ce que les barres correspondantes

de votre dureté de l’eau apparaissent.

• Presser la touche vapeur / rinçage (5).

• Les barres clignotent trois fois pour confirmer.

4.3 Temps d’arrêt automatique

Cette fonction vous permet de programmer le temps après lequel l’appareil est arrêté à partir de la dernière utilisation. Il est possible de procéder aux réglages suivants :

Après 5 min. = 1 barre Après 30 min. = 2 barres Après 70 min. = 3 barres

Le paramètre de base en usine est de 5 minutes.

• Pour accéder au menu des réglages de base, maintenir la touche vapeur / rinçage

température souhaitée s’allument.

• Presser la touche vapeur / rinçage (5).

• Les barres clignotent trois fois pour confirmer.

4.5 Rinçage final

Il est également possible, en option, de programmer un rinçage automatique après la mise hors circuit de la machine (est désactivé à l’usine). Ce rinçage n’est cependant effectué que si un café a été retiré juste avant la mise hors circuit de l’appareil. Il est possible de procéder aux réglages suivants :

• Pour accéder au menu des réglages de base, maintenez la touche vapeur / rin-

çage (5) plus de 3 sec. jusqu’à ce que le symbole s’allume.

• Presser la touche café (4) plusieurs fois jusqu’à ce que le nombre de barres dési-

ré apparaissent.

• Presser la touche vapeur / rinçage (5).

• Les barres clignotent trois fois pour confirmer.

4.6 Restaurer le réglage en usine (Reset)

Lorsque vous restaurez le réglage en usine, tous les points que vous avez programmés sont remis à zéro. Cela veut dire que la machine est à nouveau réglée comme elle l’était quand vous l’avez achetée.

• Maintener la touche vapeur / rinçage (5) et la touche café (4) simultanément plus

de 3 sec.

• Tous les barres clignotent trois fois pour confirmer.

• Le réglage en usine est maintenant restauré.

5. Maintenance et entretien

5.1 Changer filtre

Après le retrait de quelque 50 l d’eau, l’efficacité du filtre est épuisée. L’écran affiche le symbole

Vous pouvez continuer à retirer du café ou de l’eau chaude et de la vapeur.

Nous vous recommandons cependant de toujours effectuer le changement de filtre immédiatement.

Attention :

Si la consommation d’eau est faible, le filtre doit être remplacé au plus tard au bout de deux mois. L’écran n’affiche alors aucun message. Le disque tournant spécial sur la tête du filtre permet de régler la date de remplacement.

• Pour accéder au menu d’entretien, maintener la touche de sélection d’arôme (3)

plus de 3 sec. Sur l’affichage s’allume le symbole ou ou .

• Si nécessaire, tourner le bouton tournant du volume d‘eau (2) jusqu’à ce que le

symbole

s’allume.

• Vider le réservoir à eau (11).

• A l’aide de l’accessoire de montage (17), vous pouvez retirer l’ancien filtre du réser-

voir et visser le nouveau avec précaution. Régler la date de montage et de remplacement sur l’anneau de date (mois) situé à l’extrémité supérieure de la cartouche filtrante.

• Remplisser le réservoir avec de l’eau fraîche et réinsérez-le dans la machine.

• Presser la touche de sélection d‘arôme (3).

• Sur l’affichage le symbole

clignote et le symbole s’allume.

Conseil :

Placer un récipient suffisamment grand (env. 0.5 l) sous la buse (7).

• Tourner le bouton tournant vapeur / eau chaude (6) à gauche pour refermer. Sur

l’affichage apparaissent les grains prédéfinis et la machine est prête à fonctionner.

5.2 Nettoyer système

Si la machine doit être nettoyée, le symbole s’affiche à l’écran. Utiliser à cette fin la pastille de nettoyage jointe à votre lot de bienvenue et que vous pouvez commander chez nous.

Le programme de nettoyage en cours ne doit pas être interrompu! N’introduire la pastille de nettoyage que lorsque vous y êtes invité à l’écran.

Conseil :

L’avancement du processus de nettoyage est indiqué par les barres rouge.

• Pour accéder au menu d’entretien, maintener la touche de sélection d’arôme (3)

plus de 3 sec. Sur l’affichage s’allume le symbole

ou ou .

• Si nécessaire, tourner le bouton tournant du volume d‘eau (2) jusqu’à ce que le

symbole s’allume.

• Presser la touche de sélection d’arôme (3) pour lancer le nettoyage.

• Les symboles

et s’allument et le symbole clignote.

• Retirer et remplir le réservoir à eau (11) avec de l’eau fraîche puis remonter-le.

• Retirer et nettoyer le bac d’égouttage (9b) et le récipient à tourteau (9c) puis remon-

ter les deux.

• L’appareil rince. Puis le symbole s’allume en plus.

Conseil :

Placer un récipient suffisamment grand (env. 0.5 l) sous la sortie de café (8).

• Ouvrir le couvercle du tiroir à café moulu (13). Le symbole du tiroir à café moulu

clignote.

• Introduiser la pastille de nettoyage dans le compartiment de café moulu et refer-

mez le couvercle.

• La machine démarre le processus de nettoyage.

• Le nettoyage se déroule automatiquement et dure environ 10 minutes. Dès que le

cycle est terminé, le symbole

s’allume et le symbole clignote.

• Vider le bac d’égouttage (9) puis le remettre en place.

• L’appareil chauffe un bref moment.

• Si tous les symboles de grains sont constamment allumés, l’appareil est de nou-

veau opérationnel.

– Avant de lancer le programme, il faut absolument retirer le filtre du réservoir d’eau. – Durant le déroulement, veuillez respecter scrupuleusement l’ordre des opérations

comme décrit ci-dessous! – Le programme de détartrage en cours ne doit pas être interrompu! – Pour le détartrage, ne jamais utiliser de vinaigre ou de produits à base de vinaigre,

utiliser du «Calc Clean» ou un produit similaire.

• Pour accéder au menu d’entretien, maintener la touche de sélection d’arôme (3)

plus de 3 sec. Sur l’affichage s’allume le symbole

• Presser la touche de sélection d’arôme (3) pour lancer le détartrage.

• Le symbole s’allume et le symbole clignote.

• Retirer et nettoyer le bac d’égouttage (9b) et le récipient à tourteau (9c) puis remon-

ter les deux.

• Le symbole s’allume et le symbole clignote.

• Retirer le réservoir d’eau (11) et si nécessaire retirer le filtre.

• Remplisser d‘eau et la quantité correspondante de produit détartrant dans le

réservoir seulement jusqu’au repère 0.5 l (tenir compte des consignes du fabri-

cant) et réinsérer le réservoir.

• Le symbole s’allume.

Conseil :

Placer un récipient suffisamment grand (env. 0.5 l) sous la buse (7).

• Ouvrir en pivotant à droite le bouton tournant vapeur / eau chaude (6).

• L’appareil se détartre automatiquement et la solution de détartrage s’écoule main-

tenant à intervalles par la buse (7) (env. 10 minutes).

• Le symbole s’allume et le symbole clignote.

• Fermer en pivotant à gauche le bouton tournant vapeur / eau chaude (6).

• La solution de détartrage restante s’écoule à intervalles par la sortie interne dans

le bac d’égouttage (9) (env. 10 minutes).

• Le symbole s’allume et le symbole clignote.

• Vider le bac d’égouttage (9) puis le remettre en place.

• Le symbole

s’allume.

• Ouvrir en pivotant à droite le bouton tournant vapeur / eau chaude (6).

• Le processus de rinçage par la buse (7) débute et s’achève dès que le symbole

clignote et que le symbole

• Fermer en pivotant à gauche le bouton tournant vapeur / eau chaude (6).

• Le processus de rinçage de l’intérieur débute et dure env. 2 min. L’appareil rince

ensuite brièvement par la sortie de café (8).

• Puis le symbole

s’allume et le symbole clignote.

• Vider le bac d’égouttage (9) puis le remettre en place.

• L’appareil chauffe un bref moment.

• Si tous les symboles de grains sont constamment allumés, l’appareil est de nou-

veau opérationnel.

5.4 Nettoyage général

Ne jamais immerger la machine dans de l’eau.

☛

Ne pas utiliser de produits abrasifs pour le nettoyage.

• Nettoyer le boîtier à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur en utilisant exclusivement un chiffon

doux et humide.

• Ne vider le bac d’égouttage (9b) et récipient à tourteau (9c) au plus tard quand l’in-

vitation correspondante s’affiche à l’écran. Utiliser de temps en temps un peu

d’eau savonneuse pour le nettoyage.

• Si l’indicateur de niveau rouge (9d) du bac d’égouttage (9b) devient visible en haut,

retirer et nettoyer le bac d’égouttage (9b).

• Le réservoir à eau doit être rincé et rempli d’eau fraîche chaque jour.

• Nettoyer la buse à eau chaude / vapeur après chaque utilisation à l’aide d’un chif-

fon humide. Résidus de lait sèches

Les résidus de lait séchés sont difficiles à éliminer :

• Après l’utilisation de lait vous devez nettoyer soigneusement la buse (7) et le cap-

puccinatore (7a, seulement modèle U27.32) (voir chapitre 3.8).

• De temps à autre, le cappuccinatore (7a, seulement modèle U27.32) doit être

démonté dans ses différentes parties (B) en vue d’un nettoyage optimal puis être

rincé sous l’eau claire. Nettoyage du groupe percolateur

Au besoin, le groupe percolateur (19) peut être retiré et nettoyé à l’eau courante. Ne jamais utiliser à cette fin du détergent mais seulement de l’eau!

☛

Nous recommandons de nettoyer le groupe percolateur une fois par mois.

Attention :

L’appareil doit être arrêté pour le nettoyage (interrupteur marche / arrêt [10] sur arrêt).

• Ouvrir et retirer le couvercle pour groupe percolateur (15).

• Déverrouiller le groupe percolateur (19) en pressant l’interrupteur rouge et en tour-

nant la poignée vers la gauche jusqu’en butée.

• Extraire avec précaution le groupe percolateur du boîtier en le saisissant par la

poignée.

• Nettoyer le groupe percolateur à l’eau courante. Bien rincer la chambre de mou-

ture et le tamis. Ensuite, laisser sécher le groupe percolateur.

• Introduire de nouveau le groupe percolateur dans le boîtier, avec précaution, puis

verrouiller en maintenant pressé l’interrupteur à levier rouge et en tournant la poi-

gnée vers la droite jusqu’en butée.

• Refermer le couvercle.

1. Indicazioni sulla sicurezza

• L’apparecchio è destinato ad uso domestico e applicazioni simili, come per esempio l’impiego in cucine per il personale, in negozi, uffici e altri ambienti di lavoro; l’utilizzo da parte di clienti di hotel, motel, agriturismo, bed & breakfast o altri alloggi.

• Alimentare esclusivamente con corrente alternata della tensione indicata sulla targhetta dei dati tecnici.

• Utilizzare l’apparecchio e il cavo di alimentazione solo se integri.

• Collocare l’apparecchio su una superficie piana e stabile, esclusivamente in ambienti interni.

• Non posare mai l’apparecchio su superfici calde o in prossimità di fiamme vive.

• Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato da bambini dagli 8 anni in su a condizione che questi vengano sorvegliati o siano stati istruiti in merito all’utilizzo sicuro dell’apparecchio stesso, avendo compreso i pericoli risultanti.

• Le operazioni di pulizia e di manutenzione spettanti all’utilizzatore non possono essere effettuate da bambini, a meno che si tratti di bambini di 8 anni di età od oltre, e che vengano sorvegliati.

• Tenere l’apparecchio e il relativo cavo di collegamento lontano dalla portata dei bambini di età inferiore agli 8 anni.

• Gli apparecchi possono essere utilizzati da persone con attitudini fisiche, psichiche o sensoriali limitate o esperienza e conoscenza insufficienti a condizione che queste vengano sorvegliate o siano state istruite in merito all’utilizzo sicuro dell’apparecchio, avendo compreso i pericoli risultanti.

• Impedire che i bambini giochino con l’apparecchio.

• Se l’apparecchio non viene utilizzato per svariati giorni, estrarre la spina dalla presa di corrente.

• Non immergere mai l’apparecchio in acqua.

• Non lavare mai l’apparecchio o i singoli componenti in lavastoviglie.

• Seguire accuratamente le istruzioni di pulizia e decalcificazione!

• In caso contrario decade ogni diritto alla garanzia.

• In caso di guasto estrarre immediatamente la spina di rete (non tentare mai di intervenire personalmente sul cavo di alimentazione o sull’apparecchio stesso).

• Se il cavo elettrico è danneggiato, occorre richiederne la sostituzione da parte del produttore, dell’assistenza clienti o di un’altra persona qualificata per evitare ogni pericolo.

• In caso di utilizzo non corretto, uso improprio o riparazioni non eseguite a regola d’arte, si declina ogni responsabilità per eventuali danni. In tal caso decade ogni diritto alle prestazioni di garanzia.

Attenzione:

L’azionamento del l’interruttore ON / OFF (10) durante il riscaldamento può danneggiare l’apparecchio! Disinserirlo solo quando l’apparecchio è in standby!

PERICOLO DI SCOTTATURE!

• Durante l’erogazione di vapore o acqua può capitare che inizialmente dall’ugello (7) escano degli spruzzi: pericolo di scottature!

• Afferrare l’ugello del vapore (7) solo sulla parte in plastica nera e mai dirigerlo verso le persone!

• L’ugello (7) si scalda MOLTISSIMO durante l’uso. Lasciatelo raffreddare alcuni minuti prima di toccarlo.

2. Messa in funzione

2.1 Preparazione dell’apparecchio

• Estraete delicatamente dall’imballaggio l’apparecchio e tutti i pezzi che ne fanno parte.

☛

Per un eventuale servizio, l’apparecchio può essere spedito senza problemi

per posta, nell’imballaggio originale. Conservate quindi l’imballaggio.

• Togliete il serbatoio dell’acqua (11) e risciacquatelo con acqua fredda.

• Riempite quindi il serbatoio fino al livello massimo e inseritelo nell’apparecchio. Accertatevi che sia ben inserito e scatti in posizione.

☛

Riempite il serbatoio con acqua fredda, mai con acqua contenente anidride

carbonica o altri liquidi.

• Aprite il coperchio del contenitore di chicchi di caffè (12) e riempitelo con chicchi di caffè.

☛

Non utilizzate mai chicchi i quali, durante o dopo la tostatura, sono stati trat-

tati con additivi quali zucchero o simili. Questo può causare danni alle macine e i costi di riparazione che ne derivano non sono inclusi nelle prestazioni di garanzia.

• Fate in modo che la manopola per vapore / acqua calda (6) sia sempre su 0.

2.2 Messa in funzione

• Estraete la spina dalla custodia del cavo (14) e inseritela.

• Inserite l’interruttore ON / OFF(10).

• Sul display lampeggiano 5 barre rosse.

• Appena la macchina è calda lampeggia il simbolo

• Premete il tasto risciacquo e vapore (5) e il sistema viene risciacquato attraverso l’erogatore del caffè (8).

• Sul display lampeggiano i simboli dei chicchi di caffè indicando l’intensità dell’aroma.

• Premere il tasto Aroma (3) per confermare o per modificare l’intensità dell’aroma (il numero di chicchi cambia – v. capitolo 3.2).

• Ora la macchina è pronta per l’uso.

Suggerimento:

Mettete un recipiente sotto l’ugello per raccogliere l’acqua. Riempimento del sistema

È eventualmente possibile che alla prima messa in funzione i tubi dell’apparecchio non siano ancora pieni d’acqua. La macchina lo segnalerebbe così:

• Dopo che la macchina è stata accesa con il interruttore ON / OFF (10), il simbolo si illumina.

• Girate la manopola per vapore / acqua calda (6) verso destra. Il sistema viene ora riempito e l’acqua può fuoriuscire dall’erogatore del caffè (8) e dall’ugello del vapore (7).

• Non appena la fase di riempimento è automaticamente arrestata, potete girare di nuovo verso sinistra la manopola (6).

• Il simbolo si illumina.

• Procedete poi come descritto prima al numero «2.2 Messa in funzione».

• Ora la macchina è pronta per l’uso.

2.3 Regolazione del grado di macinazione

Attenzione:

Il grado di macinazione dev’essere spostato solo con la macine in funzione. A seconda della tostatura del caffè, potete adattare di conseguenza la macinatura.

Vi consigliamo, però, di lasciare le macine su una regolazione media.

• Spostate il regolatore disposto sul retro (20) – mentre sono in funzione le macine – nella posizione desiderata. Più piccolo è il punto e più fine à la macinatura del caffè. Vale la regola:

– una tostatura chiara necessita di una regolazione fine – una tostatura scura necessita di una regolazione più grossa

3. Preparazione

Indicazioni:

Il fabbricante regola l’apparecchio in modo tale che possiate godervi subito il

primo caffè. Vi consigliamo, però, di programmare le regolazioni di base più importanti secondo le vostre esigenze. Eseguite perciò dapprima i passi contenuti nel 4. capitolo «Programmazioni» per la regolazione della durezza dell’acqua e la temperatura del caffè.

Quando si utilizza per la prima volta la macchina nuova o quando la stessa

non è stata utilizzata per un periodo lungo, il caffè non ha ancora il pieno aroma e non dovrebbe essere bevuto.

3.1 Scegliere la quantità d’acqua

Con la manopola per la quantità d’acqua (2) potete dosare la quantità di liquido mediante la scala a regolazione continua (tazza piccola a sinistra in basso per poca acqua, tazza grande a destra in basso per molta acqua).

• La quantità d’acqua può essere modificata mentre la funzione è in corso.

3.2 Scegliere il gusto del caffè

A seconda dei gusti, sono possibili tre regolazioni per il gusto del caffè: = leggero, ca. 7 gr. di polvere di caffè (p.es. caffelatte, cappuccino)

= normale, ca. 9 gr. di polvere di caffè (p.es. caffè crème)

= forte, ca. 11 gr. di polvere di caffè (p.es. espresso, caffè forte)

• Non appena la macchina è in funzione, il display indica la regolazione di fabbrica

• Potete cambiarla premendo il tasto aroma (3). Sostenete così spesso finché viene indicato il gusto del caffè desiderato.

3.3 Erogazione per una tazza

• Posate la tazza preriscaldata sotto l’erogatore del caffè (8).

L’erogatore del caffè (8) è regolabile in altezza e quindi adattabile alla gran-

dezza della tazza.

• Immettete la quantità d’acqua desiderata.

• Premete il tasto aroma (3) finché viene indicato il gusto del caffè desiderato.

• Premete il tasto caffè (4).

• Ora la macchina inizia il procedimento di bollitura.

Il procedimento può essere interrotto in qualsiasi momento premendo il tasto

caffè (4).

Attenzione:

Al momento della preparazione del primo caffè la camera di macinatura è vuota. Può essere che dopo la prima macinatura il simbolo per la mancanza di chicchi di caffè

lampeggi e la macchina non faccia il caffè. In questo caso premete

semplicemente ancora una volta il tasto caffè (4) e la procedura viene ripetuta.

Suggerimento:

Affinché possiate sapere meglio quanta acqua è necessaria per i vostri gusti o la grandezza della tazza, al momento della preparazione del primo caffè procedete così:

• Girate la manopola per la quantità d’acqua (2) nelle seguenti posizioni:

– per una tazza di caffè espresso al entro della scala dei punti – per una tazza grande completamente a destra

• Premete il tasto caffè (4).

• La macchina inizia con la preparazione del caffè.

• Poco prima del raggiungimento della quantità di caffè desiderata, ruotate lentamente la manopola per la quantità d’acqua (2) verso sinistra finché la macchina cessa di lavorare.

• Per future preparazioni annotate la posizione assunta ora dalla manopola per la quantità d’acqua (2).

3.4 Erogazione per due tazze

Nel funzionamento a 2 tazze vengono fatte automaticamente due macinature consecutive.

• Mettete entrambe le tazze sotto l’erogatore del caffè (8).

• Immettete la quantità d’acqua e il selezione del gusto del caffè per una tazza.

• Premete il tasto caffè (4) per due volte consecutive.

• La macchina inizia con il procedimento di bollitura e fa due caffè di seguito.

☛

Il procedimento può essere interrotto in qualsiasi momento premendo il tasto

caffè (4).

☛

Se dovesse capitare che proprio fra una macinatura e l’altra l’acqua finisca o

il caffè in grani si esaurisca o che le vaschette debbano essere svuotate, questo viene segnalato e il secondo caffè non viene più erogato. Seguite l’indicazione e per il secondo caffè premete il tasto caffè (4).

3.5 Erogazione di caffè in polvere

• Girate dapprima la manopola per la quantità d’acqua (2) sulla quantità d’acqua desiderata per una tazza.

• Aprite il coperchio del vano per caffè in polvere (13). Il simbolo lampeggia.

• Riempite un misurino (16) con caffè in polvere e richiudete il coperchio. Il simbolo

si illumina con luce fissa.

• Mettete la tazza sotto l’erogatore del caffè (8) e premete il tasto caffè (4).

Se avete aperto inavvertitamente il coperchio del vano per caffè in polvere o

se non viene premuto un tasto di erogazione dopo che è stata messa la polvere, il sistema viene risciacquato automaticamente un minuto dopo che è stato richiuso il coperchio ed è così nuovamente operativo.

Attenzione: L’imbuto di riempimento non è un contenitore di scorta. Non mettete quindi più di una porzione nell’imbuto e utilizzate solo polvere fresca o imballata sottovuoto di chicchi macinati. Non può essere utilizzato caffè idrosolubile istantaneo.

3.6 Erogazione di acqua calda

• Mettete una tazza sotto l’ugello (7).

• Girate la manopola per vapore / acqua calda (6) verso destra.

• Riempite la tazza con la quantità d’acqua desiderata e quindi girate di nuovo la manopola (6) su 0.

Per ca. 2 min. è possibile prelevare vapore. Dopodiché, l’apparecchio si spe-

gne automaticamente. Ruotando avanti e indietro la manopola (6) il procedimento continua.

☛

Attenzione, pericolo di scottature: L’acqua che fuoriesce può lanciare spruz-

zi! L’ugello (7) si scalda molto durante l’uso. Lasciate raffreddare qualche minuto l’ugello prima di toccarlo.

3.7 Erogazione di vapore / schiumetta di latte (solo U27.30)

• Premete il tasto risciacquo e vapore (5). Le 5 barre lampeggiano.

• Non appena il sistema è pronto si illumina il simbolo .

• Immergete l’ugello (7) nella tazza contenente il liquido da scaldare.

• Girate ora la manopola per vapore / acqua calda (6) verso destra. Attenzione: Dapprima esce un po’ d’acqua e poi il vapore.

• Girando indietro la manopola (6) su 0 il procedimento viene terminato.

• Premete il tasto risciacquo e vapore (5) e la macchina ritorna di nuovo sul funzionamento normale per il caffè.

Per ca. 2 min. è possibile prelevare vapore. Dopodiché, l’apparecchio si spe-

gne automaticamente. Ruotando avanti e indietro la manopola (6) il procedimento continua.

☛

Attenzione pericolo: Il vapore in uscita è molto calda! Afferrate l’ugello sulla

parte in plastica nera!

Suggerimento:

I residui secchi sull’ugello dovuti all’erogazione della schiumetta sono difficilmente eliminabili, pulite perciò il tutto non appena l’ugello si è raffreddato.

3.8 Preparazione della schiumetta e latte bollente con il Cappuccinatore

(solo U27.32)

Con lo speciale accessorio per la produzione della schiumetta «Cappuccinatore» (7a) potete riscaldare il latte direttamente nel contenitore o in un recipiente e riversare la schiumetta nella tazza.

• Montate il tubo flessibile sull’ugello dell’acqua bollente (7a).

• Immergete il tubo flessibile (A) nel recipiente con il latte e mettete la tazza sotto l’ugello per il vapore / acqua calda (7).

• Premete il tasto risciacquo e vapore (5). Le 5 barre lampeggiano.

• Non appena il sistema è pronto si illumina il simbolo

• Girate lentamente verso destra la manopola per vapore / acqua calda (6).

• Il latte viene aspirato e trasformato in schiuma et guidato caldo nella tazza.

• Terminate l’operazione girando la manopola (6) su 0.

• Premete il tasto risciacquo e vapore (5) e la macchina ritorna di nuovo sul funzionamento normale per il caffè.

☛

Per ca. 2 min. è possibile prelevare vapore. Dopodiché, l’apparecchio si spe-

gne automaticamente. Girando avanti e indietro la manopola (6) il procedimento continua.

Suggerimento:

I residui incrostati sull’erogatore della schiumetta e sull’ugello (7) sono difficili da eliminare, pulite perciò il tutto non appena l’ugello si è raffreddato. Procedere come segue:

• Ripetere l’operazione sopra descritta utilizzando acqua anziché latte.

• Erogare l’acqua finché questa fuoriesce dall’ugello del vapore (7) pulita, priva di residui di latte.

Attenzione: Per eseguire un’ottima pulizia, di tanto in tanto il Cappuccinatore deve essere completamente smontato nelle sue singole parti (B) e poi sciacquato con acqua limpida.

mezzo, la macchina ritorna automaticamente nella modalità «Pronto per il caffè».

4.1 Filtro

Per tutte le nostre macchine per il caffè potete acquistare da noi un filtro speciale per il serbatoio dell’acqua. Un utilizzo corretto del filtro consente una decalcificazione meno frequente della macchina. Affinché l’apparecchio riconosca l’inserimento del filtro, è necessario programmare l’impostazione filtro su «Sì». L’impostazione di fabbrica è senza filtro.

Utilizzando il filtro per la macchina con programmazione del sistema su «Sì»,

l’impostazione per la durezza dell’acqua viene regolata automaticamente sul livello 1.

☛

Dopo avere filtrato circa 50 l di acqua, il filtro esaurisce la sua funzionalità. Al

momento di sostituire il filtro, sul display appare il simbolo (vedere cap. 5.1).

☛

Importante: La durata massima del filtro è comunque di due mesi, anche se

il filtro viene usato poco e il display non visualizza alcun messaggio.

Azionare la macchina con filtro:

• Svuotare il serbatoio dell’acqua (11) e avvitare con cautela il filtro nell’apposito supporto (18) con l’ausilio della guida di montaggio (17).

• Sull’anello della data (mesi) all’estremità superiore della cartuccia del filtro regolate la data di inserimento o di sostituzione.

• Riempite il serbatoio con acqua fresca e rimettetelo nella macchina.

• Per accedere al menu delle impostazioni di base, mantenere premuto per più di 3 secondi il tasto risciacquo e vapore (5) finché appare il simbolo e si illuminano 3 barre.

• Premere ripetutamente il tasto caffè (4) finché appare il simbolo alla sinistra del simbolo .

• Premere il tasto risciacquo e vapore (5) per confermare.

• Sul display lampeggia il simbolo e si illumina il simbolo .

Consiglio:

Collocare un recipiente sufficientemente capiente (0,5 l circa) sotto l’ugello (7).

• Girate in apertura la manopola per vapore / acqua calda (6) verso destra. Il sistema viene ora risciacquato e sul display lampeggia il simbolo .

• Attendere finché non fuoriesce più acqua dall’ugello e si illumina il simbolo sul display.

• Ruotare nuovamente la manopola per vapore / acqua calda (6) verso sinistra. Sul display appaiono i chicchi di caffè preimpostati e l’apparecchio è di nuovo operativo.

Non è più necessario programmare la durezza dell’acqua, poiché l’apparec-

chio ha già impostato automaticamente la durezza dell’acqua sul livello 1 con l’impostazione «Filtro sì».

Azionare la macchina senza filtro: Affinché l’apparecchio riconosca che non viene impiegato alcun filtro, basterà programmare la durezza dell’acqua sul livello corretto. A tale scopo, seguire le istruzioni riportate nel capitolo 4.2.

Se necessario, non dimenticate di rimuovere il filtro dal serbatoio dell’acqua.

4.2 Durezza dell’acqua

A seconda della durezza dell’acqua nella regione di appartenenza, occorre prevedere la decalcificazione periodica della macchina. Per consentire alla macchina di indicare il momento in cui effettuare la decalcificazione, è necessario inserire il valore di durezza dell’acqua al primo utilizzo.

Verificare la durezza dell’acqua con la barra per il test fornita in dotazione:

• Immergere brevemente la barra nell’acqua e scuoterla leggermente.

• Dopo un minuto circa sarà possibile leggere il risultato, contando il numero di punti rossi visibili.

• I diversi gradi di durezza sono così suddivisi:

1 punto rosso 1–7 °dH / 1–12.6 °fH = livello 1 = 1 barra 2 punti rossi 8–14 °dH / 12.7–25.2 °fH = livello 2 = 2 barre 3 punti rossi 15–21 °dH / 25.3–37.8 °fH = livello 3 = 3 barre 4 punti rossi > 21 °dH / > 37.8 °fH = livello 4 = 4 barre

In assenza di punti rossi, impostare il livello 1.

L’impostazione di fabbrica è il livello 3.

• Per accedere al menu delle impostazioni di base, mantenere premuto il tasto risciacquo e vapore (5) per più di 3 secondi finché si illumina il simbolo e appaiono 3 barre.

Importante:

Qualora si fosse impostato precedentemente il filtro su «Sì», apparirà sulla sinistra del simbolo il simbolo .

Con questa funzione è possibile programmare il tempo dopo il quale l’apparecchio si spegne dall’ultima erogazione. Sono possibili le seguenti opzioni:

Il livello impostato dal fabbricante è di 5 min.

4.5 Risciacquo finale

È possibile inoltre programmare anche il risciacquo automatico dopo lo spegnimento della macchina (non impostato di fabbrica). Tuttavia, quest’ultimo risciacquo viene eseguito solo se subito prima dello spegnimento è stata erogata una bevanda. Sono possibili le seguenti opzioni:

Risciacquo finale non attivato = 1 barra Risciacquo finale attivato = 2 barre

• Per tornare al menu delle impostazioni di base mantenere premuto il tasto risciacquo e vapore (5) per più di 3 secondi finché si illumina il simbolo .

• Premere il tasto risciacquo e vapore (5) finché si accende il simbolo

• Premere ripetutamente il tasto caffè (4) finché si accende il numero desiderato di barre.

• Premere il tasto risciacquo e vapore (5).

• Le barre lampeggiano tre volte per confermare.

4.6 Ripristino delle impostazioni di fabbrica (Resettare)

Ripristinando le impostazioni di fabbrica, effettuerete il reset di tutti i punti da voi programmati. Vale a dire, che la macchina sarà nuovamente impostata come al momento dell’acquisto.

• Mantenere premuti contemporaneamente i tasti risciacquo e vapore (5) e il tasto caffè (4) per più di 3 secondi.

• Tutte le barre lampeggiano tre volte per confermare.

• Le impostazioni di fabbrica sono ora ripristinate

5. Manutenzione e cura

5.1 Sostituzione del filtro

Dopo avere filtrato circa 50 l di acqua, il filtro esaurisce la sua funzionalità. Il display visualizza il simbolo

Nonostante tale messaggio, è comunque possibile erogare bevande, acqua

calda e vapore. Tuttavia, si consiglia di sostituire il filtro quanto prima.

Attenzione: La durata massima del filtro è comunque di due mesi, anche se il filtro viene usato poco. In questo caso non appare nessun messaggio. Il disco posto sulla parte superiore del filtro serve per impostare la data della sostituzione.

• Per accedere al menu di cura, mantenere premuto il tasto aroma (3) per più di 3 secondi. Sul display si illumina il simbolo

o o .

• Se necessario, ruotare la manopola per la quantità d’acqua (2) finché si illumina il simbolo

• Svuotare il serbatoio dell’acqua (11).

• Con l’ausilio della guida di montaggio (17) è possibile estrarre il vecchio filtro dal serbatoio e avvitare con cautela il filtro nuovo. Sull’anello della data (mesi) all’estremità superiore della cartuccia del filtro regolate la data di inserimento o di sostituzione.

• Riempire il serbatoio con dell’acqua fresca e reinserirlo nella macchina.

• Premere il tasto aroma (3).

• Sul display lampeggia il simbolo e il simbolo si illumina.

Consiglio:

Collocare un recipiente sufficientemente capiente (0,5 l circa) sotto l’ugello (7).

• Ruotare la manopola per vapore / acqua calda (6) verso destra. Il sistema viene risciacquato e sul display lampeggia il simbolo .

• Attendere finché non fuoriesce più acqua dall’ugello e si illumina il simbolo sul display.

• Ruotare nuovamente la manopola per vapore / acqua calda (6) verso sinistra. Sul display appaiono i chicchi di caffè preimpostati e l’apparecchio è di nuovo operativo.

5.2 Programma di pulizia

Quando dovrete pulire la macchina sul display comparirà il simbolo . Per la pulizia occorre usare la pastiglia detergente contenuta nel “Welcome-Pack” e ordinabile presso di noi.

Si può comunque continuare a preparare caffè, scaldare l’acqua o utilizzare

il vapore. Si consiglia comunque di eseguire il programma di pulizia quanto prima possibile.

☛

Inoltre, il programma può essere eseguito anche se il messaggio non appare.

Attenzione:

Una volta attivato, il programma di pulizia macchina non deve essere interrotto. Inserire le pastiglie di pulizia soltanto quando appare il relativo messaggio sul display.

Avvertenza: L’avanzamento del processo di pulizia viene segnalato dalla barra rossa.

• Per accedere al menu di cura, mantenere premuto il tasto aroma (3) per più di 3 secondi. Sul display si illumina il simbolo

o o .

• Se necessario, ruotare la manopola per la quantità d’acqua (2) finché si illumina il simbolo

• Premere il tasto aroma (3) per avviare la pulizia.

• Il simbolo lampeggia, i simboli e si illuminano.

• Togliete il serbatoio dell’acqua (11), riempitelo con acqua fresca e inseritelo di nuovo.

• Togliete e pulite il gocciolatoio (9b) e il contenitore per fondi di caffè (9c) e inseriteli nuovamente.

• L’apparecchio viene risciacquato. Dopodiché si illumina in aggiunta anche il simbolo

Suggerimento:

Mettere un contenitore sufficientemente capiente (0,5 l circa) sotto l’erogatore (8).

• Aprire il coperchio del vano per caffè in polvere (13). Il simbolo

lampeggia.

• Inserire la pastiglia di detersivo nel vano e richiudere il coperchio.

• L’apparecchio inizia il processo di pulizia.

• La pulizia si svolge automaticamente e dura circa 10 minuti. Appena il ciclo è terminato, si illumina il simbolo

e il simbolo lampeggia.

• Svuotate il gocciolatoio (9) e inseritelo nuovamente.

• L’apparecchio si riscalda per breve tempo.

•

Se i simboli di chicchi di caffè si illumina l’apparecchio è di nuovo pronto a funzionare.

5.3 Decalcificazione

Quando è necessario decalcificare la macchina, il display visualizza il simbolo .

Nonostante tale messaggio, è comunque possibile erogare bevande, acqua

calda e vapore. Tuttavia si consiglia di effettuare il programma di decalcificazione quanto prima.

☛

Inoltre, il programma può essere eseguito anche se il messaggio non appare.

Attenzione:

– Prima di avviare il programma è importante rimuovere il filtro dal serbatoio

dell’acqua.

– Si raccomanda di seguire accuratamente le istruzioni qui riportate e di rispettar-

ne la sequenza! – Una volta avviato, il programma di decalcificazione non deve essere interrotto! – Per la decalcificazione non utilizzare mai aceto o prodotti a base di aceto. Si rac-

comanda di utilizzare «Calc Clean» o un prodotto analogo.

Avvertenza:

L’avanzamento del processo di pulizia viene segnalato dalla barra rossa.

• Per accedere al menu di cura, mantenere premuto il tasto aroma (3) per più di 3

secondi. Sul display si illumina il simbolo

o o .

• Se necessario, ruotare la manopola per la quantità d’acqua (2) finché si illumina il

simbolo .

• Premere il tasto aroma (3) per avviare la decalcificazione.

• Il simbolo lampeggia e il simbolo si illumina.

• Togliete e pulite il gocciolatoio (9b) e il contenitore per fondi di caffè (9c) e inserite-

li nuovamente.

• Si illumina il simbolo e il simbolo lampeggia.

• Togliere il serbatoio dell’acqua (11) e rimuovere il filtro qualora ve ne sia presente

uno.

• Riempire il serbatoio con acqua e con la quantità corrispondente di anticalcare

SOLO fino alla tacca di 0,5 l (rispettando le avvertenze del produttore), quindi reinserirlo nella macchina.

• Si illumina il simbolo .

Consiglio:

Collocare un recipiente sufficientemente capiente (0,5 l circa) sotto l’ugello (7).

• Ruotare la manopola per vapore / acqua calda (6) verso destra.

• L’apparecchio effettua la decalcificazione in modo automatico e la soluzione anti-

calcare scorre a intervalli attraverso l’ugello del vapore e dell’acqua calda (7) (ca. 10 min.).

• Si illumina il simbolo

e il simbolo lampeggia.

• Ruotare la manopola per vapore / acqua calda (6) verso sinistra.

• Riprende il processo di decalcificazione, questa volta verso l’interno, nel gocciola-

toio (9). Il processo dura altri 10 minuti e procede in modo automatico finché si illumina il simbolo

e il simbolo lampeggia.

• Svuotate il gocciolatoio (9) e inseritelo nuovamente.

• Si illumina il simbolo .

• Rimuovere il serbatoio dell’acqua (11) e sciacquarlo abbondantemente con acqua

pulita.

• Reinserire il filtro (se già utilizzato in precedenza).

• Riempire il serbatoio dell’acqua con acqua fresca e reinserirlo nella macchina.

• Si illumina il simbolo

Consiglio:

Collocare un recipiente sufficientemente capiente (0,5 l circa) sotto l’ugello (7).

• Ruotare la manopola per vapore / acqua calda (6) verso destra.

• Inizia il processo di risciacquo attraverso l’ugello del vapore e si conclude non

appena il simbolo lampeggia e il simbolo si illumina.

• Ruotare la manopola per vapore / acqua calda (6) verso sinistra.

• Inizia il processo di risciacquo verso l’interno, che dura circa 2 min. Dopodiché

l’apparecchio viene risciacquato brevemente attraverso l’erogatore del caffè (8).

• Dopodiché il simbolo lampeggia e si illumina il simbolo .

• Svuotate il gocciolatoio (9) e inseritelo nuovamente.

• L’apparecchio si riscalda per breve tempo.

• Se i simboli di chicchi di caffè si illumina l’apparecchio è di nuovo pronto a funzio-

nare.

5.4 Pulizia generale

☛

Non immergete mai la macchina nell’acqua.

☛

Per la pulizia non utilizzate mai polveri abrasive.

• Pulire l’interno e l’esterno della macchina esclusivamente con un panno umido.

• Svuotare il gocciolatoio (9b) e il contenitore per i fondi di caffè (9c) quando indica-

to sul display. Ogni tanto pulire il gocciolatoio con acqua e sapone.

• Se l’indicatore rosso di livello (9d) per il gocciolatoio (9b) è visibile in alto, togliete e

pulite il gocciolatoio.

• Il serbatoio dell’acqua dovrebbe essere riempito ogni giorno con acqua fredda.

• Pulire l’ugello dell’acqua calda / vapore con un panno dopo ogni utilizzo. Residui di latte sull’ugello del vapore

I residui secchi dopo aver montato il latte sono molto difficili da rimuovere:

• Dopo ogni utilizzo con latte è indispensabile pulire a fondo l’ugello del vapore (7)

e il Cappuccinatore (7a, solo modello U27.32) (v. capitolo 3.8).

• Di tanto in tanto occorre smontare il Cappuccinatore (solo modello U27.32) in ogni

sua parte (B) per garantirne una pulizia ottimale, quindi risciacquarlo sotto acqua pulita.

Pulizia del gruppo infusore Periodicamente estrarre il gruppo infusore e lavarlo sotto l’acqua corrente. A questo scopo non usare mai detersivi ma solo acqua!

☛

Si raccomanda di pulire il gruppo infusore una volta al mese.

Attenzione:

Spegnere l’apparecchio prima di procedere alla pulizia (interruttore ON / OFF [10] su OFF).

• Aprire e rimuovere il pannello laterale destro (15).

• Sbloccare il gruppo infusore (19) premendo l’interruttore rosso e ruotando la mani-

glia verso sinistra fino all’arresto.

• Estrarre con cautela il gruppo infusore dalla relativa sede, servendosi dell’apposi-

ta maniglia.

• Lavare il gruppo infusore sotto l’acqua corrente. Sciacquare bene il vano di maci-

natura e il filtro. Successivamente lasciar asciugare bene il gruppo infusore.

• Reinserire con cautela il gruppo infusore nella relativa sede e bloccarlo premendo

l’interruttore rosso a leva e ruotando la maniglia verso destra fino all’arresto.

• Richiudere il pannello laterale.
