Y
This unit runs on a 9V alkaline battery. It is
recommended that either ‘Duracell’ or ‘Energizer’
brands be used.
To change the battery, please refer to the diagram
below.
• Simply slide the entry pad housing up and
carefully pull it away from the mounting surface
to expose the battery compartment.
• The battery connector is easily removed by
unclipping it from the terminals on top of the
battery. Care must be taken to ensure that the
wires leading from the battery connector to the
entry pad are not pulled out from the housing.
• Once the battery has been changed, carefully
position the entry pad back over the mounting
screws and slide the entry pad back into
position. Ensure there are no wires or cables
trapped between the entry pad and the safe
door.

Using the factory set manager code –

Enter ( 1 2 3 4 5 6 ) 2 beeps sound.
•
The handle can now be turned to open the safe door.

with safe door open.
•
Enter ( 0 0 0 0 0 0 ) 2 beeps sound.
•
Enter the factory set manager code
( 1 2 3 4 5 6 ) 2 beeps sound.
•
Enter the new 6 digit manager code. 1 beep sounds.
•
To verify, re-enter the same manager code. 1 beep
sounds.
•
Enter the new manager code to verify the new code
has been accepted. 2 beeps sound.

deleted.

To re-enter the user code, follow the procedure, “ To
add the user code for the first time”.

• There is a time limit of 15 seconds allocated to
complete an instruction.

a 5 minute delay period will be activated.

• A re-lock will occur within 4 seconds.

• If during the unlock cycle, a repeated beeping
sound is detected, the battery is low and needs to
be replaced.
• It is recommended that either “Energizer” or
“Duracell” brands be used.
• To change the battery, please refer to the
procedure, “Changing the battery”.
