Guidelines for the battery!
ATTENTION! Store the battery only fully charged, charge the battery at least every 3 months.
WARNING! The battery should be protected against direct sunlight, heat or an open fire. The battery could explode if thrown
onto an open fire. There is a danger of burns or chemical burns.
WARNING! The battery should never be connected up to keys, coins, screws or other metal objects as this could lead to a
short circuit in the battery.
Batteries which are not in use should be kept away from metal objects such as nails, coins and jewellery. Do not attempt to
take the battery apart or to break it open as there is a danger of damage to the skin and burns from the battery acid.
• The battery should only be used in a surrounding temperature of between -10 °C and 40 °C.
• The battery should not be exposed to microwaves or high pressure
• The battery and the charging unit should never be cleaned using water
• The battery should be kept out of the reach of children.
• Protect the battery from rain and damp.
• The charging unit should not be covered up. If smoke or fire develops, the electricity plug should be removed immediately
from the power socket. Watch out for fire!
• Check regularly to ensure that the connecting cable of the charging unit is intact and does not have any cracks.
• Never carry the appliance using the cable and never pull the plug out of the socket using the cable.
• The charging unit should only be used when the surrounding temperature is between 0 and 45 °C.
• Only use the charging unit in an area which is well aired, dry and dust free.

Checks before starting to clean the pond
• Check that the brush is easy to rotate.
• Remove any weed, string or similar material which may be wound around the brush, disconnecting the battery beforehand.
• Before starting up the appliance, check that all cable connections are correctly in place and are in perfect condition.
• Only use the appliance for the tasks it has been designed for.
• Always hold the appliance with both hands.
• Never lay the appliance down before switching it off.
Attaching the brush head to the telescopic rod
Before attaching, keep an eye on the spiral cable held by a velcro strap at the end of the rod. Be absolutely sure not to lose
hold of this cable when releasing the velcro strap but screw the connecting plug immediately into the socket on the brush.
Take care! If the strap retaining the cable is released before connecting up the plug, the cable can slip back into the telescopic
rod.After connecting up the cable, push the BIBER 22 BRUSH adaptor together with the cable into the telescopic rod and fix it
there with the wing nuts. Keep the Velcro strap and if dismantling the appliance, use the strap to fix the cable to the rod as it
was originally.
Attaching the battery to the speed control unit and the
telescopic rod
First attach the battery to the speed control unit and then to the
telescopic rod. Make sure that the connecting plugs are attached
exactly and secured with the lock nut. Please do not hold or turn the
plugs using the blue ends.
