The rear metal panel must be fixed to the wall
in the upper part of the hob (Fig. 6). Rest the
lower edge of the panel behind the hob and fix
the upper edge to the wall by means of the two
holes in the panel itself, inserting the supplied
screws and screw anchors (Fig. 6A).

DESCRIPTION
This appliance consists of a hood and a tel-
escopic flues which must be applied to the up-
per part of the hood in order to cover the draft
pipe.
The appliance can be a filtering version one, a
ducting version one or with an external motor.
In the Filtering version (Fig. 1), the air and
vapours conveyed by the appliance are depu-
rated by charcoal filters and recirculated around
the room through the side venting ducts of the
flue.
ATTENTION: When using the filtering version,
two charcoal filters must be installed plus an

Wall fixing with brackets

umluftabhängigen Feuerstätte (wie z. B.
gas-, öl- oder kohlebetriebene Heizgeräte,
Durchlauferhitzer, Warmwasserbereiter) ist
Vorsicht geboten, da beim Absaugen der
Luft durch die Dunstabzugshaube dem
Aufstellraum die Luft entnommen wird, die
die Feuerstätte zur Verbrennung benötigt.
Ein gefahrloser Betrieb ist möglich, wenn
bei gleichzeitigem Betrieb von Haube und
raumluftabhängiger Feuerstätte im Aufstell-
raum der Feuerstätte ein Unterdruck von
höchstens 0,04 mbar erreicht wird und
damit ein Rücksaugen der Feuerstätten-
abgase vermieden wird. Daher den Raum
mit Lüftungsanschlüssen versehen, die

Nur eine sorgfältige Pflege garantiert auf
Dauer eine gute Leistung und Funktion des
Geräts.
Besonders wichtig ist die Reinigung der
Fettfilter. Hierzu sind die Fettfilter
abzunehmen. Die Reinigung wird von
Hand, mit biologisch abbaubarem Reini-
gungsmittel, oder in der Spülmaschine
empfohlen. Die Reinigungshäufigkeit hängt
ab von der Benutzungsdauer und der Art
Fettablagerungen auf dem Gerät beachten.
Das Gerät ist so zu montieren, daß der
Abstand zwischen den Kochplatten und
dem unteren Rand der Dunstabzugshaube
mindestens 65 cm beträgt.
Ein Anschluss der Abluftleitungen an
Verbrennungsabgaskamine (zum Beispiel
Zentralheizung, Heizgeräte, Badezimmer-
öfen usw.) ist nicht gestattet.
In jedem Fall sind bei der Ableitung der
Abluft die behördlichen Vorschriften zu
beachten. Desweiteren darf die Abluft nur
dann durch ein Loch in der Wand geleitet
werden, wenn dieses für diesen Zweck
bestimmt ist.
Achtung! Bei gleichzeitigem Betrieb einer
GEBRAUCH
In der unmittelbaren Nähe des Geräts die
Benutzung von flammenerzeugenden
Materialien (Flambieren) vermeiden.
Beim Frittieren besonders auf die Brand-
gefahr achten, die durch Öl und Fette
verursacht wird. Besonders gefährlich ist
die Entflammbarkeit von bereits benutztem
Öl. Keine offenen Elektrogrills verwenden.
Zur Vermeidung einer möglichen Brandge-
fahr die Anweisungen zur Reinigung der
Fettfilter und zur Entfernung eventueller
werden.
MONTAGE UND
GEBRAUCHSANWEISUNG

– Innenseite möglichst glatt.
Ausserdem ist es ratsam, drastische
Veränderungen des Rohrquerschmittes zu
vermeiden (empfohlener Durchmesser: 150
mm).
MONTAGE DES GERÄTS
--------------------------------------------------
Zur Montage des Geräts sind die Fettfilter
herauszunehmen (Abb. 4). Diese werden hierzu
am entsprechenden Griff leicht nach hinten
gedrückt und nach unten aus der Federhalte-
rung gezogen. Eingesetzt werden die Fettfilter
im umgekehrten Handlungsablauf.
Materialien verwendet werden.
Es wird empfohlen, den elektrischen Anschluß
für das Gerät im Bereich hinter der Kaminver-
kleidung vorzusehen.
Zunächst wird die Position des Kaminbefesti-
gungsteiles festgelegt. Dieses kann sowohl an
der Decke, als auch an der Wand festge-
schraubt werden (Abb. 7).
Abluftversion mit Motor:
Zunächst wird der Abluftschlauch am Gerät
angeschlossen und das Gerät mit dem
Stromanschluß verbunden.
Die beiden Teile des Teleskopkamins werden
zusammengesteckt (Abb. 8) und von vorne
über das obere Kaminbefestigungsteil
geschoben. Dann wird der untere Kaminteil
nach unten gedrückt. Anschließend wird das

Um die bestmöglichsten Vorbedingungen zu
erreichen, ist es zu empfehlen, bei
Abluftversionen und mit Aussenmotor
Abluftrohre mit folgenden Eigenschaften zu
verwenden:
– möglichst kurzgehaltene Länge und
– die geringste Anzahl von Kurven
(Maximalwinkel der Kurve= 90 Grad).
Montage des Geräts auf Stahlrückwand:
Zunächst wird die Stahlrückwand über der
Arbeitsplatte montiert. Hierzu wird der untere
hintere Rand der Rückwand hinter die Arbeits-
platte eingeführt, bis die Rückwand fest auf der
Arbeitsplatte aufsitzt (Abb. 6).
Anschließend wird die Rückwand durch die
beiden Bohrungen am oberen Rand mit, für
die Wand geeigneten Dübeln und Schrauben,
an der Wand befestigt (Abb. 6A). Die weitere
Befestigung des Geräts auf der Stahlrückwand
erfolgt analog zur Wandbefestigung (Abb. 6B).
Montage des Kamins

1) als auch im Abluftbetrieb (Abb. 2) zuläßt.
Im Umluftbetrieb wird die Luft zusätzlich durch
einzusetzende Aktivkohlefilter (Abb. 11) geleitet
und in den Raum zurückgeführt. Hierfür ist das
den Luftaustritt in der Küche versehen. In
dieses Kaminoberteil ist in diesem Fall die
mitgelieferte Luftumlenkweiche (Abb. 1A)
einzubauen, die durch einen geeigneten
Luftkanal mit dem Luftaustrittsstutzen des
Motors zu verbinden ist.
Im Abluftbetrieb wird der Kochdunst durch
Abluftrohre ins Freie geleitet (Abb. 2). Kohlefilter
sind in Abluftbetrieb nicht erforderlich.
Feststellschrauben (Abb. 5A) an den Haken
so weit gelöst sind, daß die Geräterückwand
pro-blemlos in die Halterungen eingehängt
werden kann.
Da die Einhängeöffnungen in der Geräterück-
wand breiter sind als die Haken, kann das Gerät
zur Feinausrichtung nach links und rechts
verschoben werden. Die Höhenregulierung des
Geräts erfolgt durch Verstellen der Regulier-
schrauben an den Aufhängehaken (Abb. 5B).
Nach genauer Einstellung der endgültigen Po-
sition werden die Feststellschrauben (Abb. 5A)
fest angezogen. Zusätzlich wird das Gerät
durch die Sicherungslöcher fest mit der Wand
ver-schraubt (Abb. 5C).
GERÄTEAUSFÜHRUNG

Wandmontage des Geräts:
Die beiden mitgelieferten Haken unter Verwen-
dung der Bohrschablone, mit, für die jeweilige
Wandkonstruktion geeigneten Dübeln und
Schrauben, an der Wand befestigen (Abb. 5).
Bevor nun das Gerät mit den rechteckigen
Öffnungen in der Geräterückwand in die Haken
eingehängt wird, ist darauf zu achten, daß die
am Kaminbe-festigungsteil befestigt (Abb. 10A).
Das Kaminunterteil wird vom Geräteinneren her
am Gerätekörper festgeschraubt (Abb. 10B).
Umluftversion:
Zunächst wird die Umluftweiche (Abb. 11A) am
oberen Kaminbefestigungsteil angeschraubt.
Nun wird zwischen der Umluftweiche und dem
Luftausgang am Gerät eine geeignete Luft-
führung hergestellt (Abb. 11T) und das Gerät
mit dem Stromanschluß verbunden.
Die beiden Teile des Teleskopkamins werden
zusammengesteckt (Abb. 8) und von vorne
über das obere Kaminbefestigungsteil
geschoben. Dann wird das untere Kaminteil
nach unten gedrückt. Anschließend wird das
Kaminoberteil mit den beiliegenden Schrauben
Drehrichtung befestigt werden (Abb. 14).
Zur Entfernung der Halogenlampen ist die
Fassung entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn zu
drehen (Abb. 4). Setzen Sie Ersatzbirnen
desselben Typs ein.
Um Rechteckige Halogenlampen zu ersetzen,
Abdeckluke öffnen, Lampe entfernen und
darauf achtgeben, sie nicht mit blosser Hand
zu halten (Abb. 15). Mit Lampen derselben Art
ersetzen.
(Abb. 9) an und schließt den Deckel wieder.
Zum Öffnen und Schließen des Deckels löst
bzw. schließt man die Deckelverschraubung.
Bezüglich des Anschlusses des externen
Motors sind die entsprechenden
Montageanweisungen für diesen Artikel zu
beachten. Bitte verbinden Sie das Gerät nur
mit externen Motoren, die dafür geeignet sind.
Nun erst wird das Gerät an die Stromver-
sorgung angeschlossen.
Die beiden Teile des Teleskopkamins werden
zusammengesteckt (Abb. 8) und von vorne
über das obere Kaminbefestigungsteil
geschoben. Dann wird der untere Kaminteil
nach unten gedrückt. Anschließend wird das
Kaminoberteil mit den beiliegenden Schrauben
blinken alle Kontrolleuchten gleichzeitig.
Spätestens jetzt müssen die Fettfilter gereinigt
werden. Nachdem die gereinigten Filter wieder
eingesetzt worden sind, muß einer der Schalter
C, D oder E gedrückt werden um den Zeitzähler
wieder zurückzusetzen.
Wechsel der Kohlefilter (bei Umluftgeräten)
Soweit das Gerät im Umluftbetrieb eingesetzt
wird, sind die Kohlefilter regelmäßig auszutau-
schen und durch neue zu ersetzen.
Die Austauschhäufigkeit hängt auch hier ab von
der Benutzungsdauer und der Art der abzusau-
genden Wrasen. Mindestens sind die Kohlefilter
alle sechs Monate zu wechseln. Die Kohlefilter
sind am Motorgehäuse befestigt und können
durch Drehung gelöst und in umgekehrter
Version für externen Motor:
Zunächst wird der Abluftschlauch am Gerät
angeschlossen und mit dem externen Motor
verbunden. Anschließend erfolgt der elektrische
Anschluß des externen Motors an das Gerät
(Abb. 9). Die Verbindung zwischen dem Gerät
und dem externen Motor ist mit einem Kabel
herzustellen, das mit dem Motor geliefert wird.
Das Kabel ist im entsprechenden Anschlußge-
häuse des Geräts anzuklemmen.
Das Anschlußgehäuse befindet sich neben
dem Abluftstutzen des Gerätes und ist mit dem
Hinweisschild "Externer Motor" gekennzeichnet.
Zum Anschluß des Kabels öffnet man den
Deckel des Anschlußgehäuses, schließt das
Kabel an den hierfür vorgesehenen Klemmen
Schalter A: Beleuchtung.
Schalter B: Ein- (erste Betriebsstufe)/Aus-
Schalter C: zweite Betriebsstufe.
Schalter D: dritte Betriebsstufe.
Schalter E: Motorkontrolleuchte.
Bei nochmaligem Drücken der Schalter C, D
oder E wird die Nachlaufautomatik in der
jeweiligen Betriebsstufe in Gang gesetzt.
Die entsprechende Kontrolleuchte blinkt bei
Betrieb der Nachlaufautomatik. Nach 10
Minuten schaltet das Gerät automatisch ab.
Nach circa 30 Betriebsstunden des Gerätes
Schalter.
