INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO INSTALL LON
WITH A MLT2 ANALYZER
MLT 2 analyzers provide internal
screw terminals instead of a RJ45
connector to install LON cables. The
reason is that the RJ45 does to fit
through the IP66 cable glands.
To connect your LON cabel:
ML T 2
• Feed the LON cable (without
RJ45 connector) through the
cable gland.
• Strip the cable insulation, locate
the red and green wires inside the
cable and, inside the analyzer,
connect them to the terminals
marked with „LON“. There is no
polarity to observe for these lines.
• Finally fix the gland.
Keep this instruction for future use!
