4 Approvals

The flame detector series has been assessed and rated in accordance with several directives that are included in this document.
EN54-10 approval
The Rosemount 975 Flame Detector series is approved per EN54-10 and CPD.
• The detector is approved per EN54-10 by FM.
• This test includes a functional test, environmental test, EMI/EMC test,
and software check.
• For more details see FM Report No. XXXXX.
Marking
The flame detector series is labeled with the CE mark in accordance with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU.
Serial number
The flame detector is marked with a serial number and the year of manufacture.
FM fuel test response according to FM 3260
The following fuels: Gasoline, N-heptane, diesel, JP5, kerosene, alcohol 95%, IPA, methanol, methane, LPG, polypropylene, paper, hydrogen, magnesium alloy, gun powder, fireworks, cooking oil, mineral oil (20w50), wood, ethylene glycol, butyl acrylate, vinyl acetate, flammable adhesive (flash point < 140 °F [60 °C]), solvents, oil paint, jet A1, and battery.
