Extend the distance of stereo audio and a microphone up to 1,000 feet
(300 meter) from your PC or audio source over CAT5 cable.
Remote unit obtains its power via CAT5 cable from the local unit. Audio Out supports multimedia speakers, headphones or earphones. Mic In supports both condenser and dynamic microphone. Built-in microphone preamplifier. Microphone gain adjustment
Specifications
Perform the following steps to install the CrystalLink CAT5 Audio Extender
1- Connect the Local unit’s Mic Out and Line In ports to the
corresponding ports on your PC or audio source using a 3.5mm male to male audio cable.
2- Connect a Microphone to the Remote unit’s Mic Input port
and a set of speakers to the Remote unit’s Line Out port.
3- Connect the local unit to the remote unit with up to 1,000 feet
(300 meters) of CAT5 cable.
4- Connect the power adapter to the local unit’s +9VDC power jack
and a power source

there is a microphone gain control adjustment. Turning the adjustment potentiometer will increase the microphone gain from 0 to +15dB..
