COOL INK HD PATTERNS
Plastic gobos are nothing new to Rosco – we’ve had the experience of
manufacturing for over 12 years.
Rosco transparency materials oer solid ink absorption from ink jet
printers which means you don’t have to worry about the ink coming o
through handling. This is sometimes the case with oce supply store
transparencies.
Rosco Cool Ink plastic gobos utilizes the similar materials developed over the
years in our gobo manufacturing process for the I Pro product line, but have some
modied features to accommodate the LED light xture market.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
• The Cool Ink products use Rosco’s special transparency material,
means better ink absorption resulting in a better resolution of
your image and a much cleaner projection.
• Black & White and Color gobos, including photographs.
• The lightweight hard plastic rim on Cool Ink secures the plastic
slide and protects the gobo itself. It makes the gobo much more
solid with the use of a strong adhesive similar to what has been
used and tested in the I Pro process. This alleviates most issues
from heat and use such as wrinkling of plastic which may distort
the image. Cool Inks for leko lights can be used with current glass
pattern holders for ease and exibility of use. It feels like a true
gobo rather than a fragile scrap of transparency that can be
damaged or lost.
• A good temporary solution for short term applications.
• Works well for most cool burning LED units. Always check with
xture manufacturer for use of plastic within their units.
• Examples for use: Retail applications, Tradeshows,
Corporate Events, Weddings, Birthdays and other special events.

COOL INK HD FEATURES
• Cool Ink HD patterns bump up the resolution of the ink process
and adds greater punch with a truly black, opaque background.
• The glass layers and bezel helps to alleviate most issues from heat
and use such as wrinkling of plastic which may distort the image.
• Elements such as dust & ngerprints are kept o the actual
artwork and is cleanable much, like a typical metal or glass gobo.
And, the Cool Ink HD process, particularly for color or gray scale
black and white images, give a very high denition projection for
extremely good value.
• Good for temporary applications where ne projection is required.
• Cool Ink HDs are made in-house using the same Rosco standards
for customer service and product quality.
• Fast turnaround.

Consult with your manufacturer for plastic gobo use.
Get any Rosco standard catalog grayscale black and white and multi color
patterns, including stock I Pro images, as a Cool Ink pattern.
Disclaimer:
Rosco will make every effort to replicate your plastic image within the best process our
experience has taught us for ink images. Please note however: Plastic gobos are meant
for temporary applications. How colors print out, project and the lifespan for use of the
plastic are subject to the artwork, fixture and LED lamps involved, as well as environmental
conditions. Ink printing may make subtle changes to color rendering. As with all gobo
projections, some changes of color images once the gobo is projected within the LED units
may occur and are to be considered a feature of the fixture rather than the gobo. Color
temperatures of lamps and other unit-specific features may affect the projection. Plastic
gobos are not returnable and will not be credited for any reason other than a
manufacturing error.
