GENERAL
Keep this manual for further use.
Be sure your counter unit is properly installed and grounded by a qualified
technician.
Never try to repair any part of the counter
unit unless specifically recommended in
this manual. All other servicing should be
done by a qualified technician.
Only certain types of glass, glass/ceramic,
ceramic, earthenware, or other glazed
utensils are suitable for cooktop cooking
without breaking due to sudden
temperature changes. See the CHOOSING COOKWARE chart for proper choice
of utensils.
Caution - Do not store items of interest to
children in cabinets above a counter unit.
Children climbing on a counter unit to
reach items could be seriously injured.
SAFETY
Never use your counter unit for warming
or heating a room. Such use can be
dangerous as well as damaging to counter
unit parts.
P,ROTECT YOUR CHILDREN
Teach your children not to play with
controls or climb onto the counter unit.
As they become old enough, teach them
to use the counter unit safelv and
correctlv.
Always turn utensil handles inward, instead of above another cooktop burner or
over the front of the unit to minimize accidental spillage or burns.
Never heat unopened food containers.
Pressure build-up may make container
burst and cause injury.
