Important Questions and Helpful Hints
• Shake the can vigorously before each application.
• Hold GLH Thickener Spray no more than 3-4 inches away when spraying it.
• Hold the Finishing Shield 8-10 inches away.
• Use both a hand mirror and a wall mirror when applying GLH. Tilt head
back so you can see the balding area when applying GLH to it.
• Will it Wash Out? Easily. The pigment is water soluble.
• Wash out of clothes? Yes, again it is water soluble. If your hair rubs against
leather or fabric furniture and even a tiny bit gets on the furniture - just use
whatever you would normally use to clean that leather or fabric.
• Use more than one color? Yes. Get a perfect match by combining two
colors. White, in combination with silver black or silver brown, can perfectly
match many shades of gray.
• Wear it in a Swimming Pool? Yes, but some or all of the color may come out
of the hair. Another good reason to carry the Travel Size. If you use a towel
on your hair while it is still wet, some of the GLH will come off on the towel.
Again, the towel may be easily cleaned.
• What about humidity, rain or when working out? Most of the time
GLH will not come out in these conditions.
• Sleep with it in? Most people twist and turn as they sleep. GLH is a powder
and you can expect to see a small amount on your pillow or sheet. It washes
out easily. To restyle after waking, just lightly dampen your hair and comb
with an inexpensive coarse-toothed brush using a blow dryer.
• How long will a can of GLH Thickener Spray last? It varies depending on
amount and frequency of use and the area to be covered. Heavy users should
be GLH Club members and request a double order each month at the low
Club prices. A single can will supply over 30 applications of 10-15 seconds
durations.
• Will GLH cover all bald spots? No but it will cover most bald spots where
there is some hair in or around the bald spot.
• How to order a second color? Use the order form on the back of this bro-
chure.
• Can I use any shampoo? Yes. However GLH Shampoo usually works much
better because it does not contain the variety of conditioners found in other
shampoos. Conditioners limit the performance of the GLH Thickener Spray.
• Use a conditioner? We advise not to (see above).
• GLH for chemotherapy patients?* With Hair Transplants? With Minoxidil and
similar formulas? We believe the answer is yes because there are no residual
toxic materials. However, we recommend that you consult your
physician first.
• Any limit for Club members ordering additional products at the Club
Prices? No limit. They may order as many as they want.
• GLH on eyebrows, or other small areas? Just spray it on a toothbrush and
apply it. Apply the GLH Finishing Shield in the same manner.
• Wear a hat? Light colored hats are not advisable if you use the darker tones
of GLH unless the hat is easily cleaned. Some of the GLH is likely to come off
on the inside of the hat.
• Increase Hair Volume! Use GLH Colored Hair Thickener followed by the GLH
Finishing Shield. Repeat both until desired thickness is obtained.
• Can I use my favorite hair styling spray? Yes but only after you have used
both the GLH Colored Hair Thickener and the GLH Finishing Shield.
• Artificial coloring on your hair? No problem. Just make sure the GLH color
you select matches the artificial color.
• Exact color match not required. Most hair has a variety of color in it. Blend
in your GLH Colored Hair Thickener by also spraying the area surrounding the
bald spot and a bit on the sides, so you get a natural looking blend in your
hair.
• Want to look younger? Cover gray hair and tone it down by using a darker
color of GLH such as medium brown, dark brown or black to hide gray.
• Want to look older? Use the silver tones (silver brown and silver black).
• Use an inexpensive, coarse-toothed, plastic styling brush. It is important
– so you don’t scrape any GLH off your scalp.
• Let it dry - How long? Don’t touch it until it is absolutely dry- about 5 minutes.
• GLH on my dog? Yes. But you don’t have to bother removing it with the
GLH Shampoo.
