 As the auxiliary safety device, e-CAR guarantees the Auto-Owners (AO)

more convenience car management only.
But, e-CAR is not responsible civilly & criminally for all of theft and damages caused by AO’s abnormal

 e-CAR is locked automatically, so You should carry Smart card key always

And ready for an emergency, Memorize password or Note it.

 The Smart card key is fragile, so do not impact it when handle it.

 Consumers or Install Technician(=IT) is responsible for the accident caused by the incorrect set up.

So, consumers should ask the warranty properly filled in by IT.

 e-CAR is not waterproof. (Don’t wet it with water or chemicals for cleaning.)



 All A / S is supported in principle only to visit yourself to where you bought it or to A/S agency

regardless of charge or free.

If you

do not know

identify the serial number of Smart card key, normal A/S is not supported.

 The distance of transmission & reception may vary slightly depending on the region .

 If battery leak, the product is damaged,

so, when you don’t use Smart card for a long-term, take out battery from Smart card,
and when use, from time to time check the battery status.

Vehicle wireless security system is a RF system which gives a convenience when you

close & open your car door, and start your car. Just with carrying Smart Card, you can close & open the
door, and start your car under the control of start-blocking security system.

So, if you go together with Smart Card, You don’t need to carry the unhandy remote

-

controller anymore.

Key features like that …….

Carrying the smart card within 2M from your car, e-CAR recognize Your Smart Card ID (password) registered in the
main control of your car And then, automatically your car door is open.
When you left your smart-card somewhere or lost it, you can also open it by inputting the registered password (4 to 20 digits)
If you input wrong password over 3 times, your car is out of operation in all the functions.

If car thief enters your car by breaking the locks and try to start your car without Smart card and password,
start blocking and the control locking come into effect ( anti-theft system ), so it is useless doing any manipulation of the state

After parking, when you are out of the recognition distance from e-CAR, the door automatically lock.
Even if you lock the door manually by touching on the password touch pad, automatic locking system will confirm the lock state again.

And

If you want to display your phone

number on LED Display board module, you can set it up and improve the safety of parking.

Integrating only these core technologies, and eliminating unnecessary functions, e-CAR aim at Solid Feature.

After applying Smart Card on Mercedes-Benz in 1999 for the first time, to the advanced models from the low-cost vehicles,
the type of applied models has been increasing every year.
And in the case of South KOREA, even if the advanced models already is equipped with, but rely on expensive foreign technology.

For this reason, ROMTECH CO., LTD. began to develop a smart card systems with the proprietary RF technology,
and finally has completed it for Before Market & After Market.
And reliability test is also completed successfully.

In addition, ROMTECH CO., LTD. has realized a low-cost on the optimized & embedded design of digital circuits.

 Automatic door system and Manual door system are different products each other.

Carrying the Smart card, when approaching or leaving your car, the door is automatically open or locked.
For your convenience driving, you do not need to carry your car key.……It would be always in the keyhole.

How to use e-CAR ……

1.

Carrying Smart card, approach your car. (within 2M from your car)

2. And then, emergency light twice blink (“BLINK”,”BLINK”) and at the same time, door is automatically open.

3. When door is open, all the vehicle control system operate.

1. To open the Door

 LED module is off displaying when it detects Smart card.

2. To lock the Door



When

without Smart card, during input password into Touch Password Pad, if for 5 seconds no more input,

LED module is on displaying again.

1. Close car door and touch the mark, “#”on the Password Touch Pad.

2. When carrying Smart card and leaving your car, even if you do not touch the password Touch module,
the door will be locked automatically for the anti-theft.

( when you are out of 2M from your car, after 8 seconds then, it is automatically locked.)

3. And at the same time, emergency light one time blink (“BLINK”).

4. When door is locked, all the vehicle control system doesn’t operate.

 LED module is on displaying when the door is lock state.

Even if you lock the door manually by touching on the password touch pad,
automatic locking system will confirm the lock state again.

2. Manual Door ON/OFF system ( if you purchased “ Manual Door System”, follow this guide)

 Automatic door system and Manual door system are different products each other.

Carrying the Smart card, when approaching or leaving your car, you can unlock or lock the door by touching
the assigned places on the password touch pad.
Especially, when leaving your car, even if you do not touch password pad, it is locked automatically for anti-theft.

1. Carrying Smart card, approach your car. (within 2M from your car)

2. Touch the ” * “ mark on the password touch pad which installed on your vehicle

3. And then, emergency light twice blink (“BLINK”,”BLINK”) and at the same time, door is open

4. When door is open, all the vehicle control system operate.

 LED module is off displaying when it detects Smart card , and when touching the “*” mark on Touch Module.

When without Smart card, during input password into Touch Password Pad, if for 5 seconds no more input,

How to use e-CAR ……

1. To open the Door

LED module is on displaying again.
( For more information, you can refer the page, “TOUCH PASSWORD PAD(PASSWORD DOOR ON/OFF)”.)

2. To lock the Door

1. Close car door and touch the mark, “#”on the Password Touch Pad.

2. When carrying Smart card and leaving your car, even if you do not touch the password Touch module,
the door will be locked automatically for the anti-theft.

( when you are out of 2M from your car, after 8 seconds then, it is automatically locked.)

3. And at the same time, emergency light one time blink (“BLINK”).

4. When door is locked, all the vehicle control system doesn’t operate.

 LED module is on displaying when the door is lock state.

Even if you lock the door manually by touching on the password touch pad,
automatic locking system will confirm the lock state again.

2. START BLOCK SYSTEM

Existing alarm systems also have the ability to block the startup, but it is too simple for thief to disable it. And even though it is
on the alert, if the car key were in key hole, the intruder were able to manipulate KEY and easily to disable the alarm and

and to the Anti-theft relay.
When Smart Card is recognized by Main control board, it will control Relay.
Only in the state, start-blocking is unblocked, and you can safely start the car.
When out of the state, if you try to start the engine, it won’t be started.
e-CAR has improved anti-theft system.

3. TOUCH PASSWORD PAD(PASSWORD DOOR ON/OFF)

When busy, if you can not find out Smart card, do not look for it any more.

 You can use 4 to 20-digit password, and after changing it, be sure to remember new password.
 Consumer is responsible for the Damage caused by leaking password.

When busy, if you can not find out Smart card, do not look for it any more.

If you open the door with password, the car will operate normally.
You do not have to purchase additional spare Smart card and do not have to carry it.

CAUTION! When you attach TOUCH PAD on front window, it is not recommended that you place it in the Motion Range of wiper

TOUCH PAD is very sensitive, so in the rain, it can commit an error caused by the motion of wiper.

How to use Touch Password Pad...

1. Input your password into Touch Password Pad on Your car window.

( when you touch the mark, “ * ” , LED is off displaying.)

2. Touch the icons in the order, the factory released password,

“ * ” -> dog -> bird -> foot-> duck-> “ * ”

3. And then, emergency light twice blink (“BLINK”,”BLINK”)

1. To open the door

and at the same time, door is open.

4. When door is open, all the vehicle control system operate.

2. To lock the door

1. After close the door, touch the ”# ”mark on Touch Password Pad.

( when you touch the mark, “ * ” , LED is off displaying.)

2 . And emergency light one time blink (“BLINK”) and at the same time, door is lock
3 . When door is locked, all the vehicle control system doesn’t operate.

 How to change your password

The factory released password,

“ * ” -> dog -> bird -> foot-> duck-> “ * ”

1. “#” -> existing password -> “#” ->
new password(4~20 digit) -> “#”

Ex) If you touch in the order, # dog duck bird foot # foot duck bird dog #

You will get the new password, “ foot duck bird dog “

2. Right after the password is changed, emergency light blink twice
(“BLINK”,”BLINK”)

 While driving, Touch Pad reaction can be induced by static electricity in

the atmosphere

If the reaction happens, emergency light blink twice and at the same time,

door is lock, but it does not interrupt the normal operation.

In this case, when you parking, open the door and again lock the door on

the Touch Pad.

5. HOW TO CHANGE BATTERY

 Lithium coin cell (CR2032 Size) 3V * 2pcs in parallel
 Low-power design will enable you to use it over 1 year in one time exchange for new batteries
 Be sure to use a genuine cell, and exchange 2 cells together at the same time.
 No battery capacity indicator added-on Smart card, so if e-CAR does not recognize your Smart card, you need

to check the batteries and replace them with new ones

How to change batteries

1. Open the battery cover on the back side of Smart card case

2. Take out the two used cells

3. Replace them with new ones

4. Make sure if e-CAR recognize your Smart card

 Be sure if the cell is genuine and the size is CR2032
 Be sure to remember your password after register or change it considering battery death

1. Yellow wire (COM) is connected to BAT(-) if Actuator Motor operates by (+)Active, and connected to ACC power if by (-)Active.

2. White wires (Lamp) are connected to the (+) lines of each left & right direction indicator lamp.

3. Red wire (BAT. +) is connected to ACC, and Black wire (BAT-) is connected to Battery (-) or Car Frame

4. Pink wire (Door Switch) is connected to the contact of Door Switch on the Car Door.

5. Brown wire & Blue wire (Actuator) are connected to Door motor control

6. Orange wires (ENGINE) are connected to the each cutting-end of START LINE.

• CAUTION – Be sure to open your car door or windows before installing e-CAR, because the door suddenly can be lock by worker or the system failure

ROMTECH CO., LTD. A/S as this WARRNTY following the examination of the victim compensation of consumers.

When the product malfunctions, please contact where you bought it or install technician carrying WARRANTY.

5. APPENDIX

Free of charge

Within warranty period, Free A/S will be supported only for the malfunction of the product itself

[warranty period is 1 year (except the A/S period), if no record of the purchase date in warranty, it is calculated from factory

released date].

With charge

• After warranty period.

• If no record in warranty, or without warranty letter

• the malfunction by natural disaster (fire, sea wind damage, flood damager).

• the malfunction by other A/S center except the A/S agency authorized by ROMTECH CO., LTD.

The other cases

• A/S warranty is 0ne year after install.

• All A / S is supported in principle only to visit yourself to where you bought it or to A/S agency.

• Installing itself means that you have admitted the installing on your car.

• If you want to return the product, you should ask within 10 days from purchase date, and consumer should pay
extra cost for install & uninstall.

• Please carry your warranty letter when you visit the agency
